[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's Under There? I wonder, I want to know, but I can't see Who's Under There? I want to talk about this and this, say, with you Who's Under There? I wonder, I want to know, but I can't see Who's Under There?
[00:00:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Hello everybody and welcome back to the Masked Singer RHAPA Podcast. For the last time, we are here to talk about Masked Singer Season 12, Episode 12, AKA the finale of Season 12 of the Masked Singer, where we find out who is going to get crowned the winner of this season.
[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm, of course, your host, Puya the Coffee Beans and Vakili, and with me is my lovely co-host, the one and only Liana the Teabag Boris. Liana, how are you doing?
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing well. First of all, I'm very happy that you made the two things thematic following up from last week. I appreciate that. Noted and appreciated. But more importantly, this is the finale. We did it.
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: This is it. We're talking about the finale.
[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_02]: What a gag. I can't believe we're here. I can't believe the season's finally over. I gotta say, what an amazing season. I had such a good time.
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_01]: This was a great season, honestly.
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it truly feels like we're going out on top here, you know?
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, it really does.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a lackluster season, full potential season, and it's almost perfect, Liana, that we leave
[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_01]: with a group finally being crowned the champions of The Masked Singer.
[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I know. I know, right? It just feels like everything is truly coming full circle.
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I remember the very first time we had a duo.
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_02]: It was so shocking.
[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It felt revolutionary.
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It felt like, wow, this is amazing.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't realize The Masked Singer could do something so innovative and creative.
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And it finally took 12 seasons.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Here we are, a group winner.
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I think a worthy winner.
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Although I am a little sad for Wasp, but Wasp seemed elated to lose to Boyz II Men.
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So to be honest, like, I think everybody is a winner here.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I think everyone won.
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I truly think everyone got what they wanted out of this.
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it ended up being perfect.
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I completely agree with that.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It was, you know, obviously I think that another outcome still would have been satisfying.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But I would say for me personally, this was extremely satisfying.
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think having the Buffaloes as our first group winner, that amazing.
[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that.
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it too.
[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: And honestly, it just comes to a place for me where this had to happen at some point.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think having it happen 12 seasons in allows the show to still continue having its quote-unquote firsts still, which is good.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine if this had been done already like a while ago.
[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It wouldn't have been as unique.
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think that if memory serves correct, I believe that the Snow Owls were the first duo, right?
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Does that sound vaguely familiar?
[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It was them.
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And then there was the, I don't remember who it was with Catherine McPhee.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Then we had Hanson.
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: We had the Lambs.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And we had Pentatonix as the California role.
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, yeah.
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that really old?
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Didn't we have Honey Boo Boo and her mom?
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Was her mom there?
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Or was it just Honey Boo Boo?
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was both of them.
[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Honey Boo Boo, Masked Singer.
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Beach Ball.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It was one.
[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but they did it as one.
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It was Honey Boo Boo and Mama June Unmasked Interview.
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my gosh.
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: So, look.
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_02]: The thing that I'm saying is that the Snow Owls, I believe, were the first ones.
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And they were on season four.
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, it did take a couple seasons for them to be introduced.
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But then it's been pretty much a staple.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Because as you mentioned, Hanson, they were on season five.
[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Catherine McPhee, who was part of Banana Splits.
[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Banana Split or something, I think, with David Foster.
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: They were on season six.
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember what season the Beach Balls were in.
[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we had Penn and Teller as Hydra.
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_02]: We had the Queen Cobras from En Vogue.
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: We had the Mummies, the Brady Bunch Brothers.
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Brady Bunch.
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Tongue Twisters are not my forte right now.
[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_02]: The Brady Bunch Brothers.
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_02]: As you said, the Lambs.
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And now, finally, the, whatchamacallits, Buffaloes.
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah.
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It's been a journey.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: It really has been.
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And what a great finale, first of all.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So, this finale was Christmas themed.
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Very lightly.
[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, what do you mean?
[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It was like Christmas themed, but it wasn't Christmas music.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, sure.
[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, they didn't do, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But all the decorations and there was a lot of happy holiday stuff.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I will say, it is so funny to me.
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And the reason this comes to mind is because,
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: remember that plant I bought?
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I do.
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_02]: The recent plant?
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: The poinsettia.
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So, I specifically bought it for a bow, but whatever.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's not the point.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So, I bought this poinsettia.
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And it also has this little thing, like a steak,
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_02]: that has an oval shaped decoration that is very obviously Christmas themed.
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's a poinsettia, first of all.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it's like red and green.
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And it says happy holidays.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And for some reason, that always makes me laugh.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, just say Merry Christmas.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I understand that.
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's very, the colors, it's,
[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_02]: the iconography is obviously very Christmas.
[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But we're going to say happy holidays.
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like happy holidays is just synonymous with Christmas now anyway.
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you don't say happy holidays for any other holiday, you know?
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: So, to me, it's just an alternative to saying it.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's, I mean, I obviously understand the intention
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_02]: of wanting to be more inclusive.
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And also to, you know, if you don't actually celebrate Christmas,
[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_02]: it's still like, let's celebrate the general holiday season.
[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So, I totally understand the phrase.
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying it's really funny when, like, that was this whole episode.
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It was like, it's happy holidays episode.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_02]: But, like, they all come out on Christmas chariots.
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_02]: There's Christmas trees.
[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_02]: They're unwrapping Christmas gifts.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: They're like, so, it's not, like, particularly inclusive
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: of other holiday traditions, I'll say.
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It just makes me laugh.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's what I'm saying is that the phrase happy holidays
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_01]: is basically a Christmas thing.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_01]: In fact, when you say it, you mean Christmas.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just the dominant, you know, religious group
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_02]: just trying to be a little bit more inclusive, I'll say.
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, I will say, okay, another thing I will say,
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_02]: speaking of, the Christmas chariots were pretty funny
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: because my mom and stepdad entered into this, like, golf cart decoration contest,
[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_02]: and it was giving the same energy.
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And they won, right?
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_02]: They won, yeah.
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I come from a family of winners, so.
[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Say that to your suit.
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Think you can podcast outcome.
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_02]: They put.
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I can say it because I also lost.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we all lost.
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: We all lost.
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I have one other thing.
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, good.
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Proud of you.
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, the Christmas chariots were pretty funny.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I also like the buffaloes.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Only one of them got to ride chariot.
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_02]: The other ones had to just walk alongside.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Not enough room in the chariot, I suppose, for Christmas time.
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a chariot, not a chairs-iet.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't get it.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Pluralized.
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and we got Nick Lachey, who showed up.
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he opened up the show.
[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Performing at the most wonderful time of the year.
[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_02]: What did you think of his performance?
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It was good.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_01]: About as good as a winner could be, you know?
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It was cute.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I liked it.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather him than Robin, so.
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So, we're told at the top of the show that the performers are going to get
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: to perform two songs apiece, and that's it.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: The only clue we got in the episode was a voice reveal at the very end of
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: their journey package, which doesn't quite matter for the context of this
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_01]: podcast because we're going to get them both en masse anyway.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Right, exactly.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And we've also already had a pretty good idea of who we thought it was, so.
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we nailed both.
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We nailed both.
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_01]: So, here is the thing.
[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the story of the night is the Buffaloes won.
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I can pinpoint where it goes wrong for the Wasp, though.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Tell me about it, Daddy-O.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It begins and ends at the first performance because I think.
[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh!
[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_01]: In my.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Because first of all, let me be very clear.
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Please.
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_01]: The performance from the Wasp, the first song was my favorite performance of the
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_01]: night.
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay?
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: That being said, I think that the Wasp should have opened up with the Razzle Dazzle
[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: performance that we got in the second song and then done the power ballad at the end.
[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And instead, what we got was a very strong ballad at the gate here, which then opened the doors
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_01]: because then Buffaloes went with a little bit more of a crowd pumping one.
[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they hit you with the ballad last, which I felt like there's no coming back from
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_01]: a trio who can harmonize balloting.
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It was not going to work.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So you think that because also the, you know, the order and we had sort of talked about this
[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: a little bit last week, but the order of the Razzle Dazzle, like, do you do the Razzle
[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Dazzle first or do you do the ballad first?
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm very curious to know if because the Buffaloes chose Razzle Dazzle first and then
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_02]: ballad later, if do you think that the Wasp had to do the opposite or do you think that
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: they both had their choice of what they would want to do?
[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like, I don't know.
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously it's a whole, it's, you negate my entire conversation.
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_01]: If we go, we say that it was decided for them because then that's like, well, nothing you
[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_01]: can do, but if they got to choose, I think you should have done ballad second.
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I agree with that as well, because I think like you want to start the show with hype, you're
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: getting everybody hype, they're having a good time.
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you kind of wrap up with the emotional song.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think like most artists, for example, when they're doing their set list for a tour,
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_02]: they always have this sort of a big, you know, sort of pump up songs early.
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they have with like the everyone get on your feet.
[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're trying to get everyone to get pumped because and unlike some of these
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_01]: other finalists who, you know, like, let's go back to season two.
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_01]: There were three performances that night.
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: One a piece.
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: They had one and one only.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And the winner of that night went with a song that happened to have both in it with Try a
[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Little Tenderness by Otis Redding.
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Starts ballad-y, then you're pumping up the crowd, but it's one song.
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas here, you had the opportunity to do two.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like you pump us up first, give us the thing that brought us in immediately,
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: draw us up, get us standing, and then hit us with the oh my God, and I forgot the vocals
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: are very strong there.
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I say that it sounds stupid because the vocals were good in both songs, obviously.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And I am kind of, you know, splitting hairs here, but.
[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Can, okay, can I tell you the moment that I thought that the Buffaloes won?
[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_02]: The switch to acapella.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: That was a big one.
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_02]: In their final performance.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was huge.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_02]: That to me, I actually genuinely thought it was pretty neck and neck.
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And I understand your comment about flipping the order.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And I could see that being potentially a reason that, you know, it maybe didn't quite
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: work for the Wasp.
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: But that moment, that, because I was thinking, oh my God, I have no idea who's going to win.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea who's going to win.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea who's going to win.
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_02]: The moment they switched to acapella, I literally even wrote in my notes, oh, okay, I think they're
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_02]: winning.
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that was a huge part.
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you see the, like, the reaction from the judges.
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Everybody's tearing up.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Buffaloes are tearing up.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Ken's tearing up.
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_02]: We're all tearing up.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, we're all going to cry.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: That just felt so, like, such a clinch moment.
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And they also got to perform last, which I do think is another benefit.
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_02]: They're the final thought that you have going into the vote.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that holds as much weight for me in the final, though.
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_01]: So, like, put it in perspective, in season two, the fox goes first, then it's the flamingo,
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_01]: then it's the Rottweiler.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I mean, look, I'm not saying that it is the be-all, end-all.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm talking about if we're thinking about a combination of factors that could have pushed
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: the buffaloes over the wasp, it could be order of the performance.
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It could be, and by order, I mean wasp, buffalo, wasp, buffalo.
[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It also could be the doing the ballad first, then the razzle-dazzle versus razzle-dazzle,
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_02]: then the ballad.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: It could be, you know what I'm saying?
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I think that there's a number of different factors that really helped to clinch the win
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_02]: for the buffaloes.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I think it's a little bit tough to do a diagnosis and say, oh, this is exactly
[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_02]: the thing that went wrong.
[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying that from my perspective, the moment where I felt the buffaloes were winning
[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_02]: was when they did the switch to acapella.
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I 100%, I think I co-signed that more than my theory.
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the acapella switch was kind of what even the judges talked about was a huge moment
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: for them.
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, it was also the thing that I believe Robin cites when they all guess boys
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_02]: to men in the final unmasking for the buffalo.
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We've never had that, have we?
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe.
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, to that extent, where they're like, all right, let's just put everything down.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's just yell it at the same time.
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we've had that before.
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: It was incredible.
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It was.
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, do you want to talk about each of the individual performances?
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I think there's like a lot to dig into.
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot, you say?
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Then kick it off.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So, Bruno Mars, when I was your man by the Wasp, that's his first performance.
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, obviously the emotion and the performance I thought was amazing.
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: He's running all over the stage, and I don't mean physically.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought that the gold setting was really pretty.
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I did feel like the flower backup dancers could have been plucked and removed.
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, pick those flowers.
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Like, just be alone on stage?
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think, one, it was distracting, and two, I think it made the set look cheap.
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Because the gold looks very, like, rich and powerful.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And then to have these sort of cheapo-depo flower backup dancers just, hmm, was not a fan.
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I, and I think this is a me problem, I was just stuck in to the performance so much
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: so that I didn't even notice the backup of anything.
[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's fair.
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, and that's the thing, too, is he's such a powerful performer that he can captivate the entire stage
[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_02]: and really captivate the audience.
[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I had to sort of take a step back, because I look for all those kinds of things.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So, I was just paying attention more broadly, because, I mean, like, dang, it was really good.
[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the last note I thought was an interesting choice, but the rest of the performance vocally,
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I think, was absolutely amazing from the Wasp.
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I loved this.
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I just felt like, this felt immediately, because obviously a lot of these thoughts are coming after I've seen all of them,
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_01]: but in the moment, I was like, wow, great strong entry into the competition out the gate here.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, totally.
[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And that performance, genuinely, I oscillated.
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I saw the Wasp performance, I go, oh my god, the Wasps are gonna win.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And then we go into the next performance with Gautier, somebody that I used to know for the Buffaloes,
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and I go, oh my god, the Buffaloes are gonna win.
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It was really, for me, it was just a, what's the word when something just, recency bias.
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_02]: It was absolutely recency bias, because, oh, okay, they're good.
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_02]: They're gonna win.
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's good.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna win.
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that just really goes to show how close the season was for the finals.
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_01]: No, this was incredibly close.
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And what the Buffaloes, Gautier, first of all, Gautier is a musician who I definitely,
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: when I first heard that song, somebody that I used to know, I went ahead and listened to a lot of the music from Gautier.
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And while that was all good, I have forgotten all of them.
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's gone back to being a one-hit wonder for me.
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But this was a fun song that I didn't anticipate coming in here.
[00:18:02] Yeah.
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this was definitely a, I mean, I literally wrote interesting song choice, but I think I like it.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Just because it was something that I didn't expect from them.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_02]: But they've really been doing that all season.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So as Julie Chen says, I should learn to expect the unexpected.
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought that they had the fun ad libs.
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And at first I was a little confused because I could hear the drums in sort of the beginning part that's a little bit slower.
[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they really kick things off.
[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And that was the moment where I said, oh, okay, this is their razzle-dazzle performance.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly how I felt as well, where it built up from what felt like it was going to be a ballad to then, oh, we're getting audience participation in here.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And there's a little bit more of a rock vibe to it.
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think ultimately it was a very smooth transition out and it was a good razzle-dazzle to end the quote unquote first round of this bout.
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, totally.
[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that especially the Buffaloes ending, it really felt like a concert with all the explosions in the background and all the lights and just so much energy really just, you know, just made it so fun.
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: As Robin says, oh, buff, hello.
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I felt like, I'm not going to lie.
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like when it got into the rock part, the razzle was good.
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't love the beginning of the Gautier song.
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I didn't either.
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But I think also I wasn't expecting it.
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I was expecting more of a straight cover.
[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I think maybe if I were to go back and listen to it again, maybe I would have a different perspective.
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_02]: But I also didn't like the beginning.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And I didn't like, yeah, I didn't like the drums.
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It made sense afterwards, but not in the moment.
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, what about the next performance from The Wasp when we get I'm Your Baby Tonight by Whitney Houston?
[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I really like this version.
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought this was a great song choice.
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like The Wasp did this justice.
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I completely agree.
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it allows for him to show off his vocals, but also gives us the razzle dazzle that we want.
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I will say this was maybe the weakest performance, though, overall for me, I think, if I had to rank them.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Still, absolutely amazing.
[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: But if I was ranking them, I just think it didn't like blow me out of the water, if that makes sense.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: How dare you?
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: The Wasp can do no wrong.
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You can take it back.
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm sorry, Wasp.
[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I take it back.
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_01]: No, this felt, you know how we've had a couple of performances this season where we're like, oh, that's a finale level performance.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_01]: This didn't feel like that.
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I do agree with that.
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a great song, great performance.
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But and maybe it's because they did two apiece.
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like the first song felt more like a finale performance, which is then why I was like, switch them.
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, actually, that's a good point.
[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if I would have perceived the second song differently if I had seen it first, because I think his better song performance was the first one.
[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So he started strong and then relative to his own amazing, successful talent did worse.
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So like, I'm like, oh, I guess this is what we get.
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_02]: When in reality, it's like you flip them and I'm cheering the whole time.
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It's all perception.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Just because it's like what you're comparing to recently.
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I.
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I we then get the performance from the Buffaloes.
[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_01]: We already talked about this one, but the two good goodbyes by Sam Smith.
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And I literally had chills watching this.
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Same.
[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It was so good.
[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.
[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_00]: It was like a finale performance.
[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, it was like them just doing their singing, doing their little two step walking towards the camera.
[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Turn around.
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: They get this angel string.
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't a quartet.
[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_02]: What's this?
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_02]: What's six?
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_02]: A sextet.
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_02]: They had a sextet, which was awesome.
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_02]: They also told us to put our hands in the air, which we've discussed as a millennial.
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_02]: You do it.
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the switch to acapella.
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Just the whole thing, top to bottom.
[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Amazing.
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, amazing.
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like, again, we've talked about this a bunch, but I think they're the strongest finalists combined.
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Because and I'm saying this very nicely.
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Season two had three performers in it, and two of them were definitely ahead of third place.
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh huh.
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas the finalists here was two people and both were very strong.
[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you can make an argument, for example, like harp was such was like maybe the strongest singer that we've ever had on the show.
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So then but then the lambs maybe weren't necessarily sorry, no offense to Wilson Phillips, but like wasn't as amazing.
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_02]: If we're talking about the combination in terms of talent.
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I agree with you.
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_02]: This is probably the strongest finale we've ever had.
[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Ever.
[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Ever.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Ever.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, ever.
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say season one, but no, I actually genuinely think ever.
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_01]: See, I feel like season one.
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_01]: To me, it was not close.
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: But who was third place in season one?
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I think season one also had a three person finale.
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Season one's not a bad shot.
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Although.
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't rate Donny Osmond like that.
[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Donny Osmond really stands in my head specifically because of the greatest showman performance that he does.
[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Which was the first performance of the season.
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Of the show, actually.
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Of the show ever.
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like emblazoned in my mind.
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Remember in the first season when it was face off style and.
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, so can you imagine the fact that, oh, we got the greatest show by Hugh Jackman being performed by Donny Osmond going head to head and only one can progress.
[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Head to head against Antonio Brown's my prerogative.
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Imagine.
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And then.
[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_02]: We've come so far.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Monster loses the battle the next round against Unicorn.
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I remember that.
[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That was another moment of the show that I have such fond memories of because I remember everybody on Twitter going, oh, my God, this is such BS.
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe that the monster lost to the unicorn.
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's just a tweet that you read out of context and it makes absolutely zero sense.
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_02]: But of course, in the context, the show was 100 percent the correct take.
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_02]: That was some BS.
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That really was some BS.
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm still kind of mad about that.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Are you saying that Tori Spelling did not deserve the win over T-Pain?
[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my gosh.
[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That's not even a debate.
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Who's debating it?
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, no one.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_02]: We all agree.
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_02]: T-Pain, the best pain.
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: T-Pain, Tylenol pain relief or whatever.
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_02]: When you Google search his name.
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it really does feel like a return to the beginning seasons.
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And I know we've talked about that already, but I just want to say that one more time.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I guess the question I have for you now is do we think they're going to follow suit with this energy or do you think we're going to get more of?
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'd have to look back at season 11 on the wiki, which I'm going to.
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Do we think we're going to get more of last season and less of what we just got next?
[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_02]: You never know, right?
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, part of it, I'm sure there's a ton of factors.
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_02]: What celebrities are available?
[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_02]: What celebrities do you want?
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_02]: What celebrities can you get?
[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_02]: What celebrities can you afford?
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm sure that there's a ton of factors and the types of people that you can get on the show.
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_02]: But what I'm hoping is that, you know, we've had a lot of people who are kind of coming back for their, I don't know, redemption.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, for example, the wasp even talked about it in this episode.
[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_02]: He talks about how, you know, I've always felt underappreciated and now I feel validated.
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_02]: T-Pain, even from the beginning of the show, came to, you know, look, I'm going to show people that I can sing.
[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_02]: We've had a lot of people try to, you know, sort of come back.
[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Boys to men, I feel like also this is an opportunity for them to come back into the public eye a little bit.
[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm hoping that that energy continues and we get the high caliber talent that we want with still, you know, the fun people, right?
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Not ever.
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't want everybody to be amazing because then it kind of takes the fun away from it.
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But I love having, for example, the athletes that you didn't know that can sing.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that that's really enjoyable to me.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel like for a while there, it ended up being very top heavy of,
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_01]: okay, there's like two singers and then everyone else is kind of okay or bad.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like lately we've started pivoting a little bit back towards there are actively going to be like heavy hitters that can and will sing really well.
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's kind of what I want them to go back to where it doesn't matter if they're established artists.
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_01]: But like you said, the athletes who we didn't know could sing being in the forefront.
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a great way to go about the show.
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it will make every, because I feel like the, for example, I think one of the most, I watched a Miss Mojo video this past week of some of the most shocking unmaskings.
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Number one, I believe, was Sarah Palin.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And Sarah Palin rapping Babies Got Back is a wild clip that they got out of the show.
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think that was a good use of someone who cannot really sing being a shocking reveal.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But then I feel like after that, they started trying to chase that moment.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's the mistake.
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Right, because I think that got them a lot of headlines.
[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I'm sure that's maybe where Rudy Giuliani also came into play for someone.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_01]: They were like, we'll get headlines.
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But you know what's funny to me is that like, OK, so for example, who is the person on this season who's maybe that?
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's John Elway.
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: But that for me was amazing.
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I was excited.
[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It worked for me.
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, maybe.
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: So are you saying that the chasing you think the chasing of that is a bad thing?
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that there's I think you can have that.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like there was too many of that attempt going on at the same time.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So, for example.
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, too many of those in one season, you mean.
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Because like I feel like I'd have to think about it some more.
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like we're just it was just too many attempts that, yes, re recreating the Sarah Palin unmasking and moment, which you, quite frankly, don't really need one of those every time.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Or we had William Shatner in one season.
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_01]: That was great.
[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was great.
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That was good.
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But then I'm looking at home.
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I got so many performers this season.
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like, you know, I'm looking at the amount of people that perform this season and there's just straight up too many people that can't sing like that.
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_01]: We're on this season.
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I definitely think that you and that's what I'm saying, where it kind of goes back to like what celebrities are available and how do you distribute the talent amongst the season?
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's no surprise that in Drag Race, for example, they cast people that are what are called filler queens.
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And the idea is that, you know, realistically, production doesn't think that they're going to win, but they think that they're going to come provide good TV and be a fun character for the, I don't know, two to five episodes that they are on the show.
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And I kind of feel like the Masked Singer has sort of like a similar, I'm not going to say problem, right?
[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I don't inherently think it's a problem, but they have sort of a similar situation where, okay, they need, obviously they need some good people.
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they probably need some people who are going to go out early.
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And then there's sort of this middle window.
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: How competitive do you make that middle window?
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And where does sort of that scale slide?
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think in the case that you're talking about, they're sliding more towards the sort of filler people that are just going to be fun reveals instead of sort of the actual competitors that make the season interesting.
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So depending on where you put that, you know, the divide almost or the, you know, the kinds of middle people, I think that can really change the tone of the season.
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I hear what you're saying.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm looking at season seven right now and they had like five people who were on the season who were just not going to ever make it out the first episode.
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like there's a world where you could make it be three or two that are not that good or one in each.
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're doing a three group format, again, one from each group kind of, we know they're the safe first one out.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's kind of the introductory round where we're going to meet everybody anyway, so that then everyone else is either good or has a chance.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And then the music becomes more prevalent and noteworthy.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas I feel like we've had some seasons where it's like, okay, there's four people left in this group.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's definitely this person who's going to go to the next round.
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So the rest of the episode is kind of like, oh, okay.
[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Are we going to figure them out?
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that the appeal?
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Because the music's not going to be.
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And the music's supposed to be a part of it.
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So.
[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I, you know, I'm curious to see what the future of the show is going to be and not just next season, which is confirmed.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they filmed for next season already or are, I assume going to be filming soon.
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like they would have.
[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Because the it's on the backswing, like it'll be coming up in the spring.
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they filmed genuinely in like January time.
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Season 13.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Masked Singer reveals all new theme and delightfully mischievous star for season 13.
[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_01]: So during tonight's finale, the first look at the bonkers radio coverage in next season will air and entertainment weekly has the first exclusive look.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_01]: There's actually a video here that we can check out together in a second.
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Some potential costumes are teased and the season's all new.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Lucky 13.
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, you know what?
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to live react to the video together?
[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, let's do it.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: It's our final episode.
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_01]: What are they going to do?
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Pull us?
[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we can do whatever we want.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Should we say a bunch of stuff that'll get us canceled?
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_01]: What are you trying?
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you?
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Is this a thing you actually feel like you will be doing?
[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_02]: What if we want to live on the edge a little bit?
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're good.
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to live on no edge.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't like three Musketeers candy bars.
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: There.
[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I said it.
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_00]: What?
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Be Snickers or Milky Way or be nothing.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like Butterfingers, too.
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And I like Reese's.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Never mind.
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I take back my statement.
[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I still don't like three Musketeers bars, though.
[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Shall we?
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they're fine.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: This is 11 seconds.
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It's called Masked Singer Season 13 is a Lucky One Season 13.
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Who's feeling lucky?
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_05]: Lucky Season 13.
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_05]: What the duck will happen?
[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The Masked Singer Lucky 13 premieres February 12th on Fox.
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad we live reacted to that.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: What the duck will happen?
[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_02]: So there was a duck costume, but it looked like it was wearing some sort of detective uniform.
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_02]: So maybe it's a detective duck or something.
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: That could honestly be the name of the character.
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We did see there was like a bunch of 13s that flashed on the screen and they all seemed hints at costumes.
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So this article has, but some of the masks being hinted at appear to be somehow related to a cutesy birdhouse, a honeycomb, a Loch Ness Monster, pearls, a regal bird, a camera, a bat, a space cowboy, and more.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and it's called Lucky Duck.
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: That makes sense.
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I cut.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it?
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm cut.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the luckiest, most fun season full of clues and special unmaskings with its all new Lucky 13 theme.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited for the Loch Ness Monster costume.
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The Loch Ness Monster.
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm curious what that looks like.
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So wait, is Rita coming back to that?
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Or is Nicole getting her spot back?
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, based on the promo photos, it looks like Rita.
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_02]: But also, I'm pretty sure Nicole is still in her Broadway show.
[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Lucky Duck will be unmasked at the end of the season and there could be a very special connection to someone on the show.
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: In other words, Lucky Duck is sort of season 13's Clued'll Do.
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they're bringing back Clued'll Do.
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And Lucky Duck is here to change the game.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_02]: What if it's Nicole?
[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_02]: The only problem is you're going to know it immediately.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, my immediate blind guess was it's going to be Gilbert Godfrey.
[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Because of the voice.
[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: But I need to look him up one second.
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, it can't be Gilbert Godfrey.
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Or rest in peace.
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, really?
[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, two years ago.
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know.
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_02]: When?
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_02]: When did that happen?
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, obviously you just said two years ago.
[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God, I didn't even know that.
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Beanie, but you're also you're closing it out because remember when I kept guessing people who had passed?
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I do.
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's what changed your Googling to a person who ate Subway sandwiches one year and then also can sing.
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Parentheses, not Jared.
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, season 13 is slated to premiere on Wednesday, February 12th.
[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_01]: EW can confirm that panelists McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke and host Nick Cannon will all be returning.
[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So no Nicole.
[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_02]: She's still doing her Broadway show.
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if Nicole's going to come back to the show at some point.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you mean like ever?
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_02]: She might just, you know, yeah, I'm just I'm just taking a season off and then she's out of there.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say kudos to Rita.
[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like she's kind of fit in seamlessly.
[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I think so, too.
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I miss Nicole, but I think, you know, Rita has been nice.
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like she's she's kind of held it down.
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And Liana, congratulations on winning the draft yet again.
[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: How many in a row is this?
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought you won last season.
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Did I?
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Hold on.
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I had Vanessa Hudgens.
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Did I?
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you?
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I thought I did.
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: You've taken note of who has who, right?
[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Look it up.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, hold on.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Let me pull it back up.
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So for season 11.
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we didn't do the draft the first episode.
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, did we do the draft?
[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Second episode.
[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Did we do it after the first group?
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_01]: We last time.
[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_01]: That's entirely possible.
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I feel like I definitely had cow, though.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I had Neo.
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, you.
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I had goldfish.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: OK, so you won last year.
[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_01]: What about season 10?
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Season 10.
[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Let me pull up season 10.
[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Season 10.
[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Season 10.
[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Looking up the Masked Singer season 10.
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we've had a season where none of us won because I think the winner was the first person in the first group and we didn't pick them or something.
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_02]: No, we like didn't draw.
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, so season.
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, you had the cow.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_01]: OK, so I won.
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yay.
[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That was season 10.
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And then did you have Medusa in season nine?
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Medusa was the one we didn't pick.
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Or was the harp the one we didn't pick?
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I have back to back seasons.
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_01]: They were.
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, OK, so Medusa, no one drafted.
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_02]: So.
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_02]: No one drafted.
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Medusa.
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Then season eight.
[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_02]: What happened?
[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh.
[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_02]: The problem is we don't consistently do it.
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, so season eight was.
[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, I had lambs.
[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, wait.
[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, so neither of us won two two seasons in a row because we did it where we waited until like we couldn't draft the people in the first group or something.
[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Was that what we did?
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.
[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, because I don't I don't see the harp there either, but I see the lambs.
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Which I had.
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So technically, I win because of runner up.
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's not how that works.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no.
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I think 100 percent.
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_02]: That's how that works.
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So what I'm hearing based on doing this little exercise is that we have something there, too.
[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_01]: As in, I also have one.
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's not just you winning, even though it felt like you were dominating the draft.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So there we go.
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think it's more spread out than you give yourself.
[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Why did I think that you were killer?
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's because I always get to the end game with like only one person.
[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I won a bunch early.
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So I won season two draft.
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You won season three and four.
[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't listen.
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_01]: These are this is all history.
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I think what really matters is who won the last draft.
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And that was me.
[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I will renew this podcast just so that I get another chance.
[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't tempt me.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, don't threaten me with a good time.
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Also, I know we've said this the last pod.
[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean we can't draft them in our other podcast.
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: We can still do a draft and then look at the end of the season and see who won.
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, which, by the way, keep your eyes and ears peeled for some new Puyeliana content coming to you in 2025.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Just saying, just teasing, just teasing it.
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_01]: We we were very clear when we said this is the final season of our coverage that it didn't mean we're going to be done podcasting with each other.
[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_01]: But in fact, we're going to be kicking off a brand new project coming in in 2025.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So definitely be on the lookout for that.
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I think what I'm going to end up also asking the lovely people behind the scenes is to put the first episode in this feed.
[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know where to come find us and you know that we've launched the new one already.
[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And then that'll be there.
[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe this feed isn't going anywhere.
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So if you wanted to ever go back and listen to the old coverage of Masked Singer, that's all going to be available to you all the way from season two to season 12.
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Ron T.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And you can let us know who drafted whom in the previous seasons or who won specifically.
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of curious.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_01]: The problem is we never do the draft in the same episode, right?
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't do it episode one for all of them.
[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, and also I didn't write them down in all of them.
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I only wrote it down in some, but I don't remember if I did them in like a little notepad note or in docs.
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know which docs it would be.
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_01]: So it'd be a nightmare to go look for.
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, we are the most organized.
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I didn't think that it would become such a thing.
[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_02]: That I would care.
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Who knew?
[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Who knew?
[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Who knew?
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, anything else you want to say?
[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I think that's it.
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's all we've got.
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, share your feelings.
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I am sad.
[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that your official?
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I said that your official statement.
[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I said, no, look, I am this.
[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It was actually an emotional moment.
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think once with the final unmasking and everything as well, because, you know, the wasp was giving was giving boys to men.
[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Or I guess I can say Mario now.
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Mario was giving boys to men love.
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Boys to men was giving Mario love.
[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_02]: They were talking about how much they appreciated each other and how competitive it was and how good they were.
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And I started tearing up.
[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It was just really emotional.
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think I just remember the Dr. Seuss adage that don't cry because it's over.
[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Smile because it happened.
[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So those are sort of the final words that I'm leaving the podcast and this season of The Masked Singer with.
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And I will say I will always have a fond place in my heart for The Masked Singer Wrap Up.
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_01]: It was the first project that was entrusted with me to run, to host.
[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_01]: That was my first stint doing the thing as the main.
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was a delightful project because I got to do it with you.
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And we had fun week in, week out.
[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And we learned a lot through podcasting together.
[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I learned a lot about editing and pacing, which then helped me launch and successfully maintain the 90 Day Podcast, the Traders now that I have under my belt, and so many more side ones in between.
[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It's always going to be near and dear to my heart.
[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It really was an opportunity for us to grow.
[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was something that we ended up doing so early on during our careers at RHAP.
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think it's, I think I might actually cry.
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You talk now.
[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It worked.
[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But no, this has been, you know, I always talk about how I have different shows that allowed me to do different things.
[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Where with 90 Day, I get to dive into like relationship stuff and talk about my own journey with the 90 Day Fiance visa process.
[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_01]: The Traders allows me to give my strategic insight and thoughts.
[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Big Brother allows me to, you know, talk about social dynamics, body language, all that good stuff.
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Masked Singer was somewhere where I was first allowed to exercise my detective skills and sort out clues and stuff, which was my favorite part of the show.
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And the reason why I was excited to do it.
[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it quickly got replaced by my love of nonsense and just, you know, not taking ourselves too seriously.
[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Just having fun watching this goofy show and, you know, teasing Leon on a weekly basis.
[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey.
[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was just something nice that we got to do together.
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And like, yeah, it was just really fun.
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sad that it's over.
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Even though there were times where I was so over the Masked Singer.
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there's been many times.
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like this show is so stupid.
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are we talking about this?
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, yeah, I don't know.
[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_02]: At the end of the day, it ended up being a really positive and really powerful experience.
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So I would just want to thank Pouya and thank everybody for listening.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And sorry, I'm kind of losing it here.
[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it really holds a special place in my heart.
[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this has anything to do with bedtime either, because it's still like around where you would be awake still.
[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's all feeling from the inside.
[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Like not just cranky, sleepy feelings.
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, I just need sleep.
[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Get me out of here.
[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:46:56] No.
[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Liana, let the you want me to let the people know where they can find you or projects you have going on.
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So you can find Liana at Liana is among blue sky.
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But more importantly, you can find her talking survivor over on the BNB when the season's on on a weekly basis.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_01]: The finale coverage is coming your way soon.
[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_01]: They have a very fun guest for the finale lined up.
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_01]: So definitely check that out.
[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And then in January, we're going to have the return of Drag Race.
[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And that means Liana, Amon and Beth will be getting back together again on the Drag Race for Hop-Ups.
[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Talk all about that.
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And I believe those are all her projects going on until you find out about our brand new project that's happening real soon.
[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Which I guess like we just spent the last like five to ten minutes being very sappy talking about the end of this show.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Knowing full well that we're about to do this weekly thing anyway.
[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's going to be so good.
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I don't want to hype it up too much, but we're very excited about it.
[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, we're.
[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't know.
[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're just we're hyped and we're excited to do something new.
[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think we're excited to.
[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, to put our energy into something that, you know, we have some creative control over.
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, so we're we're pretty.
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm I'm pretty hyped.
[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Pui is pretty hyped.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_02]: So genuinely like keep keep an ear out.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It's coming.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:48:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And you can find me on all social media platforms at Pui ism on Twitch, Twitch dot TV slash Pui.
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That's where I am when I'm not podcasting.
[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You can still find me talking 90 day fiance on a weekly basis over on the hot mess express.
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So they check that out.
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And trader season is upon us.
[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I have a lot of traders.
[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_01]: U.S. season three content coming out, starting with a daily countdown where once a day you're going to get a podcast diving into one of the players on this upcoming season of U.S. season three.
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So check that out.
[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And then also the recaps for U.S. season three and the recaps for U.K. season three are going to be posted in the traders feed.
[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_01]: So go find that both seasons are going to be happening simultaneously.
[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'll be covering two seasons at once because that's how much I have improved.
[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks to the Masked Singer.
[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Y'all, thank you so much for hanging out with us for one last time.
[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_01]: We are unmasking you here on a permanent basis.
[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But we'll hear from you soon.
[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Take care.
[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Have a good one.
[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Bye.
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's under there?
[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I wonder.
[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to know.
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_03]: But I can't see.
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's under there?
[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to talk about this.
[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And let's say with you.
[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's under there?
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I wonder.
[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to know.
[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_03]: But I can't see.
[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's under there?
