[00:00:27] I'm Sasha and this is Mess Magnets. We, we, the royal we are back, baby.
[00:00:55] We reunited and it feels so good. Thank you very much, Sasha, for securing a sub for me last week. Yes. Totally got away from me and thank you to Chappelle for doing a amazing job covering. I know I still haven't finished the You in Asia episode on account that I refuse to like sit and listen because it's my treat to when I walk. So I've gotten. Yeah.
[00:01:22] So I'm really in shambles because I want to finish it, but I'm like a dog and I know you show is of treats. 100 out of 10. So you're only pushing yourself. So you better go for a walk. I know. No, I did. I'm halfway through. So I did. It's just she's so funny. And just you finally found someone that was like on TikTok. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like she and I are on TikTok in the same way.
[00:01:49] Like even we had a conversation in a group chat recently where like you were like, oh, at least hold my hand. Like, well, you say there's just something. And I was like with a tissue in between. And Asia's like, I was going to say that, but I didn't know if anyone would get it. Yep. Oh, my God. I'm on TikTok and TikTok does not know I'm a white woman. So I get to see much better content.
[00:02:16] Oh, my gosh. I just I love it. And I'm just I'm excited that we have all these amazing people just waiting and in our arsenal. So thank you to Asia again. I'm halfway through the TikTok references. I just could not stop because I was like, finally, she found something. I look right. Like it felt so good yesterday. Also, Lavina texted me and said, I miss Mess Magnus.
[00:02:45] See, I almost asked Lolo to come on as a guest. And I was like, I feel bad. I'm always asking her. And I know she does not care. She's busy with playoff sports. So it's just not like considerate to ask her. That's why I was like, I think it's OK to not ask her, but. It's fine. She'll be back. She's our third Mess Magnus. We know. She knows. Oh, my God.
[00:03:12] But yeah, I I feel like we had the right guests at the right time. Yes. The mess that we were talking about and it worked out very much so well. Very much that. Love it. Love us again. Thank you. But I'm glad to be back together with you. Yes. And thank you for pulling all this mess today. It's going to be fun. Well, I mean, you pulled some mess as well. Like this is a this is a team effort.
[00:03:41] We work together. We make it happen. I realized I didn't have anything near me to mark the time. I love that. That happened to me last week. So if the time stamps are messed up, that's why. Because I forgot I was in charge. You're like, I'm normally a passenger princess. Not actually like we both do a lot of work ahead of time and set up the outlines. It's just the generally I keep track. Yeah, we all have our roles. Yeah.
[00:04:12] Anyway, so very funny. But I'm excited to talk about our first thing today. Um, because listen, cowboy Carter tour is is here. Okay, it's upon us. We are two nights in already at the time of this recording. I can't believe it. I love. I love that concert.
[00:04:36] Uh, like just the world around concerts right now is very much like the concert is happening. Someone is on tick tock live. The whole world can consume every tour date if they so choose. And it's just so wonderful. I haven't actually sat down and watched any of the full like recordings yet. But I have seen quite a bit of cowboy Carter tour content. It looks phenomenal. Yeah. And, and I haven't, um, seen much either.
[00:05:06] That's because I will be there. So I don't, I don't want to ruin anything more than has already been ruined. But I definitely want to talk about, uh, the high level stuff. And maybe once I'm back, we'll talk about everything else. We have to know we literally have to. Um, and one thing specific, but again, I started to research it and then I was spoiling myself and I say, X, X, I gotta finish. Um, so this will be your high level one.
[00:05:33] But first thing is really the outfits, the cowboy Carter tour folks. It's very funny how divided people are on like what they should be wearing. A lot of people are like denim on denim is boring. And then other people are like, well, I'm showing out and it's still not great. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I just, it's, listen, it's actually hateful to be rude about the Canadian tuxedo of denim on denim.
[00:06:02] That is a important cultural item to me personally. And it's literally in the song. Literally in the song. Uh, yeah. I mean, it's cool seeing everyone do all the special outfits and like looking so good, but it's also like, why can't we just wear our clothes? Yeah. It's just, unfortunately for Renaissance, like I feel like I had my outfit pretty quick. Not for this one. Unfortunately, I'm struggling.
[00:06:31] Um, you're not a country girl. Yeah. Let's see. Like I'm from Oklahoma, but like, no, you know what I mean? It's like, I lived in Calgary for a long time and it's like 99.99% of the year. You just wear your normal clothes. And then for two weeks, it's like, okay, it's stampede time. Now we all have to be wearing Western wear and then trying to figure out a cute way to wear Western wear. That's not like. Rod wife.
[00:07:01] Exactly. It's hard. It's not easy. And like TBH, I'm trying to just a little provocative. So very much problems for me. That's all. So anyway, we, you know, y'all will see when I finally figure it out, but you know, hopefully soon, but I'm really enjoying Beyonce's outfits as well. Um, are we surprised, but she has a lot of custom made outfits and this like, um, oh my God, is it the Dior outfit?
[00:07:29] I can't remember, but it's the all white outfit against spoilers, obviously. But so it's so gorgeous. Like, and I was like, how do I wear that? And then I said, Oh yeah, right. I I'm not Beyonce. I mean, you could make, you could have like a version of that. Yeah. But no, I mean, wearing chaps to the function is. Listen and shout out to the people that are doing that. I don't even wear the bikini bottom.
[00:07:58] Um, like I wear shorts to the pool. So I ain't wearing. I forgot about that. Um, but like the chaps over most of it. I don't know. No, no, no. And no, um, I ain't doing it. Um, but either way. Maybe Carthic. Yeah. Maybe I put him in chaps. Yeah. He will literally, um, poor guys already going to the concert with me. So I'm again, I'm really excited.
[00:08:25] I'm not again, looked at too many of Beyonce's outfits, but I just feel like this felt like a little bit more divisive than where in Renaissance people are like, Oh, this is the color scheme. You should wear this. This is what we're moving toward. So we'll see. We'll see. Okay. It's a, it's a rodeo. I'm going to be at the rodeo one way or another. All right. And this is the craziest tea because the next thing I want to talk about is the set list. Okay. I'm not going to give anything away. Don't worry.
[00:08:56] But night one, she does a set list of 36 songs. Amazing. Um, the biggest thing was that there's Renaissance songs as well as cowboy Carter and you know, a few of her like older stuff as well, but it's, it really goes to show that cowboy Carter was always supposed to be number one and, uh, act one.
[00:09:21] And then Renaissance was supposed to be act two, but because of COVID and she like Beyonce thought folks needed like a more party anthem. So act two, which we did like, yeah, if cowboy Carter had come out when Renaissance came out, we would have just put us all into depression. Yeah. Um, cowboy Carter is my top two Beyonce albums. I believe. Um, but, uh, but I, yes, I also agree with you.
[00:09:50] I think Renaissance met the moment, but I don't think it meant like what she's trying to do, which goes into like what we're going to talk about a little bit more because then night two, everyone has lost their mind because she added four new songs. What's happening. It's so like, these absolute just masters of the pop genre and industry are literally
[00:10:18] ruining concerts for everyone else because you go to a concert like this or the Renaissance tour or the heiress tour or like any of these really big tours. And then you would go to like a regular concert and it's like 10 songs and then they leave and you're like, hello. Yup. And no opening act here. So it's outrageous. Uh, so it's like a three hour show. Yeah. Almost. Amazing. And so anyway, so she added four new songs.
[00:10:46] And the thing is, these four new songs are amazing, but specifically there's two. So she added a spoiler alert, uh, to her 36. Now she added irreplaceable. If I were a boy, single ladies, which is so funny and love on top. And if I were a boy and love on top. Oh my God. I needed to be at LA night too.
[00:11:11] And I'm very sad that I'm not, but turns out a bunch of songs were like moved around. So she didn't cut anything. If folks were wondering, um, instead she like moved the set. Unless the interludes got a little bit shorter, which is a bummer because at Renaissance, like her and even at formation, actually, when I went, um, the interludes are like its own movie.
[00:11:35] And while she's able to kind of change, we're getting like a whole story as to what this next, you know, set of songs is going to be. And of course the outfits and the set literal set changes as well. So yes, but also like I would throw it all away to get to see love on top live. That's what I'm saying. Okay. And then, and the thing is, if she does halo. Can you imagine? And, and this will never happen.
[00:12:04] Um, but my favorite Beyonce song is pretty hurt. Um, so if I ever got to hear that, I would literally cry. Uh, so anyway, and then, um, what was interesting though, unfortunately is this, there were a lot of, um, malfunctions. Okay. This, uh, night two, where the cameras apparently got messed up during, uh, one of the songs. I wouldn't even, I don't want to ruin everything.
[00:12:31] And then the screen started malfunctioning. Then like one of the interlude visuals, I guess, started early or the audio was delayed. Um, and so like some of the parts got played twice. She apparently got stuck. Um, hello. Yeah. On a, on the horse, which like, I think if you're going to cowboy car, you know, she's going to be on a horse. Uh, cause she was like, you watched. Like, like, come on, let's be like, yeah. You already saw Renee. You know what I mean?
[00:13:01] Logical. Oh, please. Uh, and then the bed for cozy was late. Then no marks on the ground. And this was the craziest part. Cause I saw the video. So she, uh, she does a part where, um, she does it with robots. Yeah. And the robots make the frame. Right. And she's dancing in the middle of it. And there was no mark. Like she couldn't find her mark for that. So if she was like inches off. The robot technically could have gone on her head. Like that.
[00:13:31] I mean, I guess that's the situation though, where like, to me, like Beyonce knows her mark. Yes. She knows where to be. She wouldn't like nothing she does will ever be wrong or not on purpose. It's only if other people are screwing up, which I have to imagine would infuriate her Virgo, like perfectly organized. Everything has to be right. So like she puts so much. Yep. Into everything.
[00:14:02] So. Oh, that's unfortunate. Yeah. There's so few shows for there to be issues. Exactly. And it's really interesting because, um, she, then what happened, this is like the start to the Renaissance piece, which I think she enjoys more anyway. So that's a bummer. Um, but what's nuts is then leaving all of this behind.
[00:14:28] Like one of the, I think, tour people, the people that work on it posted an Instagram story saying like, oh, leaving, finally leaving and it's 6am. So she probably had them rerun it or something. Oh my God. Like to go by stadium. So we'll see, but mama said, we're going to fix this. And, um, the big, now this is like the biggest revelation that came out of yesterday.
[00:14:56] Um, and this I feel like should be a spoiler and people need to know, um, that if you look at how she has posted each city on her website, each city has a different beyond. And then, um, that's a different face. So it turns out because of the set list change yesterday, people did some digging and there's actually eight different faces and they correspond to different things.
[00:15:24] So Los Angeles opening night, and then is the same as New Jersey. And then as the same as London, London, 616 and then Atlanta, 711, which I thought was interesting. And then, um, LA night two, which, you know, had the two songs I wanted. Um, LA night two is the same as London first night, first night in Houston and Vegas closing night.
[00:15:53] So that feels like pretty much the best set list. Cause if it's a, if it's, oh wait, no, I'm sorry. I can't read. I'm reading my own night. Thank you. God. I misread. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Los Angeles last night, which is, I am going to is the, is the same as first night in London, first night in Houston and Vegas closing.
[00:16:23] So, and that's what you want. I think so. I think that's giving some of her best stuff. And, uh, and then you can see like online, like what matches where, but I was just very excited for my own personal, um, night. So here's what folks have noticed. She's wearing contacts in some, and then in some she isn't. So, and this is where I couldn't spoil myself. And this is the, like, when we're going to pause.
[00:16:52] And when we're, when I'm back, we're going to talk more is that it seems like she's setting up an alien versus cowboy Carter. Like set up. Could be a movie could be something, you know, could be all ending in act three. I'm not sure, but apparently the way the visuals are working is that when she's wearing contacts, she becomes like the alien. And it's like her alter ego, or maybe they're like taking over her body. Okay.
[00:17:19] Um, you know, there, there's a lot of like, we're, we're in Swifty level. Yeah. No. Trying to figure this out. I have to say like, yes, you said something earlier about like the screens messing up and all that. And my brain literally went to, Oh my God, is she working with Taylor? Is this the glitch? Is it reputed? Like I'm literally, my brain is melted. Um, obviously that's not what's happening.
[00:17:45] And, but I'm just like, so brain rotted from watching the dumbest theories all day, every day. Um, but it could like, so all of this though, could be feeding into what do we think act three is going to be, which I have been hoping praying, uh, and wishing for it to be a rock album. Um, it has to be, it has to be like black, but like there's so much little stuff. Yeah. Like it makes a lot of logical sense.
[00:18:14] It goes with the trend of what all of the acts have been about in the larger concept. But I need it. I love rock music and I want to hear her do it. And it's going to be so good. So it's just, it's, it's going to be interesting as to how this, like, it's going to work.
[00:18:39] Like, does the alien take over and do her old, you know, hits and then, um, the, the non contact version does like the new stuff. I don't know. We'll see. That would really hurt my heart on account that I don't have contacts on my night. Um, and I, it would like a little bit older, but it's okay. It's okay. I'm gonna take what she gives me.
[00:19:04] I mean, it's only been two nights so far, so we don't have enough information to really even know. I think I'm the only night left without contact. Uh, yeah, LA night of five, one had contacts of five, four also has contacts. Damn. Um, so does five, seven. Okay. So night, um, so night one and night end of the night doesn't have.
[00:19:34] And so opening LA and closing LA doesn't have contacts. Okay. So I think that's going to be similar. But tomato, tomato. It's fine. Okay. I want the aliens. Okay. You don't even know. That's what it is. Absolutely not. But you know, I love conspiracy theories. That's what I do. So I'm, I'm obsessed with all of this. Again, we'll get back to y'all on like what actually happens with the visuals. Cause apparently there's a lot of stuff there and I'm not going to spoil myself on that.
[00:20:02] Cause that's like one of my favorite parts of the show. So here's like big spoilers, which maybe folks already know, but again, maybe fast forward to the next story. Um, if you don't want it. Okay. And the biggest two spoilers for me personally, blue Ivy. First of all, when did blue Ivy grow up? She's fully grown. She's 13 years old.
[00:20:26] Like she, but she, and like 13 is a child, but she does not carry herself as like a baby. It's so wild. It's amazing. Like I'm obsessed. Um, and what's really interesting is she be, um, people say like Beyonce doesn't like performing the B day album.
[00:20:49] And it's funny because blue Ivy did the original mid two thousands deja vu performance. This concert like this. Yeah. This whole tour. Oh my God. So she's doing the like deja vu. It was just so crazy. Cause like her dad is because it's wild. Um, so I really think that's really cool. And blue Ivy's just like become a dancer. Like she's so good.
[00:21:15] Um, she's in a good amount of, uh, the songs, but I appreciate the Beyonce moves her out. Um, when they're a little bit more grown up, um, songs and the way they're dressing a 13 year old is like a 13 year old. And it doesn't read. It's read. It's appropriate. It's not like they're putting her in, you know, the chaps. Yeah. She's wearing no body suit. I don't think at least in the pictures I've seen. Yeah. She's wearing pants almost always. Um, so I just, I really appreciate that.
[00:21:44] I think that's really sweet. Um, and of course, Rumi, baby Rumi has made it on stage. And I don't know what's wrong with me, but I saw like her perform, um, protector and Rumi walked up on stage and Rumi, I don't know if it's Rumi's excitement or just seeing there's that picture from night one of blue Ivy holding Rumi and Beyonce.
[00:22:10] And like, I like, is it too culty to want that framed? Yeah. Cause it's just so beautiful. No, I think that's okay. Like I don't know if there's children, you know, like it's just, it's freaking me out, but I love it. It's so beautiful. I legit started tearing up watching Beyonce do that. And I don't cry like that. Not even for Beyonce. Oh, you are cancer. You know? Yes.
[00:22:35] Um, and Rumi was just like so excited that she like forgot the choreography and she just starts waving at people. And how old is Rumi now? Oh, so it's literally so cute. And my favorite thing is someone wrote about Rumi. We are Rumi's acting like she met Beyonce for the first time. And what about it? And I was like, I can't imagine like your mom's your mom at home.
[00:23:02] But like, if she's like, you know, doing this whole performance. And it to me seems like Rumi is a natural born performer. Um, so it's so obvious that she was probably waiting for when they're going to call her up. And she like forgets the choreography blue, you know, manager blue. Uh, classic. Yeah. Like, like points and be like, let's go. Let's get out of here.
[00:23:24] Then yesterday, uh, at the end of the concert, Beyonce was giving, um, Tina, her mom, right? Miss Tina, her flowers for matriarch, which maybe we should read for this podcast. Um, but it's a memoir, uh, about Miss Tina Knowles. It will be on his mom's life. And it's like number one on the New York bestseller list. So we honestly giving her should read it. Yeah.
[00:23:53] And Christie Brinkley also had a memoir come out this week. Oh, I think would be interesting to read as well. I like that. I like that. So yeah. So she's like congratulating her, whatever. Rumi don't give a damn. Cause that mic is on and Rumi's like, uh, like, you know, waving at people, uh, like doing the absolute most to where blue literally looked at her like as the older sister would and go shh like that. And you hear from me because the mic is like low and Rumi keeps hugging Beyonce.
[00:24:23] She goes, I'm just so happy to be here. Stop. That's so cute. Like to have these just incredibly sweet and wholesome family moments. Like we don't get to know very much about Beyonce's private life. Like she keeps her shit on lock. She does not say much.
[00:24:48] Like we just have to rely on these little moments like at the Grammys when she's like correcting her acceptance speech and like a little red carpet interview, which she normally wouldn't do or like this sweet moment with her girls like it's so sweet. And I know blue is stressed the hell out because now she has to manage Beyonce and oh my God, it's just it's so funny because literally blue is like, like eyes are all big.
[00:25:17] It's so like, no, it has to be perfect. Stop. Oh, I just I'm obsessed with it. It's so cute. And you could tell like she really loves her little sister. Like it's just it's very sweet. Um, and when we don't give a damn because when we say I'm waving at my fans. Yeah, because I'm not appropriate and it's appropriate. Yep. I just I don't know. I'm obsessed with like little roomy. Like it's beautiful to see like unvital joy.
[00:25:47] It's okay. Wait, so and blue is a Capricorn sun cancer moon. Oh, Leo rising. Oh my God. So like it really makes a lot of sense about wanting things to be perfect and perform. Yeah. Yeah. Um, and then let me see if I can find roomy. Oh my roomies. I mean, Leo everything watch.
[00:26:14] With some cute sensitive sign as well, but it's giving me because she like at one point blows a kiss to blue. Wow. Blue's performing. It's okay. Yeah. So roomy is according to astro theme calm, which is where both of these are from. So like it could be wrong. I apologize. Um, allegedly a Gemini sun, Aquarius moon, Gemini rising. Oh, that's so like that actually it makes a lot of sense.
[00:26:43] Gemini is Sagittarius is sister sign. They like see all sides of issues. And then Aquarius is like, that's my rising. It's weirdo. Yeah. It's like an Aquarius. So yes. But no, that's really funny. So I guess she's just really happy to be here. And that's very sweet. Um, but you, again, you can just tell she's like, yeah, my mom's fiance. As she should. Cause I love it.
[00:27:11] I just, I like, I'm obsessed with, I'm obsessed with like the not perfect. Yeah. Perfection. If that makes sense. Well, cause they're so human, like a little moment of being like, oh, they are humans to live in like a totally different world from where we experience it. Correct. And it's just, and it's nice. I think, see, like you said, that side of Beyonce. Um, I don't, yeah, it was just, it was very sweet.
[00:27:37] And the fact that she like blew a kiss to her sister and it's just constantly waving in every video. So cute. Oh my God. Um, so yeah, that, that's it. Oh, I took up a lot of time, but listen, I'm excited. It's okay. And we will get the full, full update after you've actually experienced the whole tour. We will go deep into that and it's going to be fun and deal with it. Anyone who doesn't like it.

[00:29:38] Let's move! From excellence to another tour that's happening right now. To the pit. Katy Perry is currently on her Lifetimes tour, which like, obviously anyone can have like a Greatest Hits tour or like a tour that outlines like all of their albums. Like that has always existed.
[00:30:05] Listen, fellow Swifties, Taylor Swift actually did not invent Greatest Hits tours. Come on. How come a but to call your tour the Lifetimes tour less than six months after the Ares tour ended is a little bit of hubris, I think for Katy Perry. Well, I, so here's the thing, because when you said that in my mind, it's giving like, I have retired and I need to come back to make some money.
[00:30:33] Like, because again, maybe that's the, you know, music I listen to, but like right like older R&B artists do that. Like, or even the 90s, 2000s, like the millennial, millennium tour. Yeah. With Omarion, Bow Wow, whatever, all of that. Like, that's how they talk about it. But that's because they're not necessarily, we're not going there for their new music. Yeah, exactly. And like Taylor had like five albums that she had gotten to tour.
[00:31:01] And so like, you know, it makes sense in a way, but it's also like, again, people were acting like she invented the concept. She did it. Like, let's be clear. Again, comma, but to call your tour the Lifetime tour is crazy. Right after the Ares tour ended, especially when like the tour is so weird. Like the choreo is bad. The dancing is bad. Like the weird like AI video that shows at the start is weird.
[00:31:30] But there is a theory about this. And so this TikToker, her name is Catherine. What's her last name? I can't. Her last name's not coming up, but her name is Catherine. And she had a theory where the tour was originally supposed to be a lot more intertwined with the Blue Origin space flight. The video was supposed to be like her with the flower in space.
[00:31:58] She was probably supposed to come out in the space suit. Like it was supposed to be really more connected, which also makes sense with like the choreo being really slow and weird. Like maybe it was meant to be zero gravity because they're supposed to be in space. Well, yes. Like some of the costuming people have been criticized and they go, because maybe it was like a last minute change to not be in the space suit because of the reception that that got.
[00:32:28] To be a climate criminal as you and Asia called. Well, and was I. I literally said yes. Correct. MS Magnets is endorsing that. And yeah. And so like what this Tiktar just says, like they probably had a whole rocket thing. And then at the last minute they had to be like, oh, we have to cut this. We have to change it because they're going to make so much fun of you for being an astronaut on stage. And so there are still some kind of space themed elements.
[00:32:57] But maybe those were just like bigger budget things that they couldn't change. Like they had to leave in like the moon. Yeah. But they were able to get rid of aliens and maybe replace them with robots. Get rid of the Daisy. And she uses a lightsaber. It's just it's so funny because, again, I just think because even Gail King, right? Who like didn't want to even go on space. And yeah. Her. But even now she's been pushing back.
[00:33:26] Like you can't say that about us. Like this was not that kind of trip. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. She said until you've gone to space, don't say anything. Yeah. And I'm like, girl, did you go to space or did you just ride a roller coaster without? No, it's the way I fully believe in the conspiracy. Yeah. You like quickly a believing age. I say yes. Age is not. She got me. She got me and it's fine. I also love my Tim Boyle hat. Yeah. But it's like.
[00:33:55] But yeah, I also I'm fully with you that she. That I think they didn't realize how embarrassingly bad this was going to be.
[00:34:06] They I think they had to make some quick changes and it makes sense to I like Katie is spending the whole time in space, like looking at the camera and and all of that versus looking at the whole literal earth that you could be looking at that not many people get to look at. But.
[00:34:28] And so people are defending against this theory as well, saying like, no, like she's always had interesting and goofy ideas like she does funky tours in a way that other people don't anymore. We should appreciate her instead of complaining about it. And I guess the concept is that she's in a video game collecting hearts to defend the main villain, which is AI, which I just think is such absolute bullshit anyways, because she used AI to create the first single. Yeah, there's no way.
[00:34:58] So like, shut up. Sorry, I know that you can't sell me on. Yeah. And people are like, oh, bad dancing is a tongue in cheek part of Katy Perry's performances. I'm like, how long do you have to be like a top pop girly and you can't dance at all? Like even Taylor to dance lessons. She's not great, but she's improved. No, but I think Taylor Swift has others like she has enough to where you don't even if she can't dance in the same way, right?
[00:35:27] Like the pop girlies dance. There's other stuff to make up for it. For me, I feel like Katy Perry fumbled the bag so crazy. Like, I don't know what happened. Well, she called Dr. Luke instead of Benny Blanco. That's probably what happened. But it's just it's crazy to go from like pretty right like top of the charts. Everyone liked her to just kind of losing it for me, at least.
[00:35:54] I don't know if like there's any messengers that are like big Katy Perry fans, but I just feel like everyone was a Katy Perry fan. And all of a sudden, no one's a Katy Perry fan. She's got some hits, but like the choices she's made with those hits have been weird over time. Yep. And it's not to say that she's like not talented. It's just she makes odd decisions. Like just go own your apple cider vinegar company with your husband and like leave us alone is how I feel about it.
[00:36:23] One of the funniest things, though, is you'll see videos on TikTok of Katy Perry doing these like horrible choreo. And all the comments will be like, lay off her. She lost bone density when she went to space. Like she's literally an astronaut. She doesn't have muscles anymore because she went to space. And I'm actually going to fight people. But it's it's a joke. Like, oh, OK. OK, yeah. They're like because she was there 11 minutes, if at all. Right. So they're like, yes. They're like, Anita Williams.
[00:36:50] It did not go up there for months for y'all to say this about Katy Perry's ass. I don't even I don't think Aja and I actually talked about this, but like the fact that they went up for their little 11 month tour when those two astronauts were stuck for over a year in space. Is genuinely insane. That's what I'm saying. It's just the more I thought about it, the more I was getting annoyed at what happened and what happened. Agreed.
[00:37:17] Katy Perry's PR is absolutely working in overtime, though, with the launch of this tour, because there are so many articles and commentaries in the past couple of days that are like like this Rolling Stone is a commentary. Is the Internet being too hard on Katy Perry? Oh, they pay. Got it. You got to say there's and there's many such articles happening. In addition, like Katy Perry posted on some fan account that.
[00:37:46] Like what when people treat me like a human pinata, I like instead send them love because like hurt people are the ones that like do all this. All you're saying is that you're paying attention to what they're saying online. Correct. And it did get to you. She's like my therapist said that no one can make you believe something about yourself. That's not true. That's actually bullshit. Katy Perry. What? Has she like she's alien?
[00:38:16] Yeah, it's because humans like real humans. It's like I can see it in like the cognitive behavioral psychology, gaslighting your own self way of being like, well, they said that, but it's not true. And so I'll believe it. But that takes away like just so much context of how people can actually. Like when there is bad where that's nice. And I hope we all have that much confidence. But in reality, it's just not true. No, especially when people are mistreated.
[00:38:45] Like, hey, people get worn down. It's just ridiculous. And I don't think the internet is treating Katy Perry like a human pinata. I think that. Where we get in trouble is when you do bring up the issues with what someone has done, they then are like, oh, well, I'm being bullied and I'm being treated poorly. No, people are pointing out what you did. That's cringe and weird. And you're a public figure.
[00:39:10] And you actually kind of by putting yourself in the spotlight, do consent to people having opinions on what you do and say. It's not like we're making judgments on like guesses of what she might do. It's literally what she is doing. So here's the tea. And here's why you never make me like Katy Perry. Did you have you heard of the Perry Act? No.
[00:39:34] So Katy Perry is so shit that there's a literal like a literal law against her that's named after her. Oh, my God. Basically. I'm just going to quit Google. Yes. So basically, the Perry Act is Protecting Elderly Realty for Retirement Years Act. And it's now a defunct website, but it would have established a 72 hour cool down period during which either party. Right.
[00:40:04] Involved in the contract would wait because long story short, Katy Perry was frauding seniors. Like and getting their like. Yeah. So I just pulled up a little bit of info on this. So if one of the parties in a real estate conveyance is 75 years of age or older, there's the 72 hour cooling off period that you mentioned. And so it says, how did Katy Perry inspire this act?
[00:40:32] Katy Perry has been involved in several legal battles that the website dedicated to the act pointed to as examples of predatory acquisition, unfair dealing or elder financial fraud. At the time of this article, her most recent high profile case involved 85 year old Carl Westcott filed a lawsuit to block the sale of his Santa Barbara home to Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.
[00:40:53] And according to court documents, Westcott alleged that he lacked the mental capacity to understand the nature and probable consequences of the contract because he has Huntington's disease. Yep. And before signing the contract, they went six hour back surgery. Yep. So she's inspired a literal law. Like she can't literally I will never care about her. She's a lame.
[00:41:21] And not only that, I don't know if you remember in American Idol when she was a she is a judge, was a judge, whatever. She was she did. There was this like, what's the word? Oh, my God. I'm like, I can't think. Yeah, she did a this guy, I think, said like he'd never had a first kiss and she kissed him.
[00:41:48] Oh, so I just find her to be very sussy. Like I there's like there's something going on. And the Rolling Stone article mentions like male pop stars are never held to this standard. So why is Katy Perry? And it's like, why do we hold them to idiot? Yeah, like actually everyone can be held to a high standard. Like, what do you mean? Like, no, it's not. We should give Katy Perry a pass for being shit.
[00:42:17] Because she's crazy. Yeah. I literally said, by the way, that he didn't want to kiss. And then she went and kissed him. And he's man. He was 19. Here's here's the situation. Also, what is going on with this? Apple cider vinegar. Like, OK. No. You know what I mean, right? Yep. Yep.
[00:42:45] Like Katy Perry and her husband own or like our large share owners of Bragg live food products. Yeah. And here's a Reddit thread from three months ago. Why fans of Bragg apple cider vinegar are mad at Katy Perry. And it links to an article saying that there has been a drop in quality of the apple cider vinegar since she's her husband took over ownership of the company. The apple cider vinegar is coming for Katy Perry.
[00:43:14] And like, I like it. The apple cider vinegar community is like, they're intense. Like these people are like, we do not care about our stomach lining or our esophagus. We will take a shot of apple cider vinegar straight up. Oh my God. We want to, what, metabolism, lose weight, whatever. Could never be me. Like I just find even the smell of apples. Yeah, I can't. You're so repulsive to me. I tried it for maybe two hours. No, there was a period. And I said absolutely not.
[00:43:43] There was a period of my life, Sasha, where I was like, oh, Dr. Oz said to take raspberry ketones. Like you'll lose weight. So I like bought raspberry ketones. There was a point where I was like, oh, shot of apple cider vinegar. I couldn't even get the shot down. Like the number of just like ridiculous, just like fake weight loss news that's out there that people who are vulnerable will fall to. Like, thank God I'm not in that place anymore. Yeah. I understand. And, uh, cause it's, it's always like the grossest stuff too.
[00:44:12] It's exactly. So gross. Um, but yeah, so that's, what's going on with Katy Perry right now. Um, I thought it would be fun to just theorize about her tour. No, it's so good. But yeah, here we are. Just talking about what I'm a horrible person. Listen, we're talking shit today. Okay. I love that. Um, and then, okay. The last story that I'm bringing to the table. Yes.
[00:44:36] Is Blake Lively has done her first interview since all of the Justin Baldoni stuff has like hit the fan. She was on Late Night with Seth Meyers. And I watched the 11 minute clip. 11 minutes she was on Late Night with Seth Meyers. That's a lot. Like it's a 30 minute show. Yeah. Like she was half the show. So many segments. Yeah. That's what I was going to say. Yeah. I didn't watch the whole episode, just her clip.
[00:45:05] And so first of all, eagle eye viewers noticed that Blake Lively was not wearing her wedding band on Late Night with Seth Meyers. So like, I, I don't think that means anything because she literally spent eight of the 11 minutes talking about her husband. But I just to know she wasn't wearing the ring. Honestly, I can see for her being like, it just doesn't match this outfit. Yeah. One hundred percent.
[00:45:29] And so she's on a press tour for another simple favor, the sequel to a simple favor with herself and Anna Kendrick, which is now on prime video if you want to watch it. But there was a clip from the movie in this like scene. And I would recommend maybe not watching the movie based on how stilted the clip was. And like, don't forget Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick literally hate each other and won't do interviews together.
[00:45:58] So it makes sense that they had some trouble acting together. Which is also so funny because didn't Anna Kendrick though, like put out a statement, like supporting her? Or was it just a guy that was like, oh, simple favor is coming. That's a lie. I don't even know. I can't remember. I can't remember. But like, they like won't do interviews together. They don't like you. And it's like Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively both have rumors of like being difficult to get along with.
[00:46:24] So I just think that they both probably have strong personalities and sometimes strong personalities don't get along. It's the final bosses coming together. It's also hard when women get that, you know, because like, I think that's a way that they really screw women. You like never hear about a man being difficult to work with. When I'm sure they are. You know, there's no way in hell. But it's funny because of all the Justin Paul, to all this extra stuff that's been coming out. We don't know what's true, what's not.
[00:46:55] Yeah, it's and like from the documentation that we have, I again do lean more towards like Justin was doing some weird ass stuff on that set. And so that's not okay. Um, and yeah, you don't actually have to be the perfect victim to still be a victim. And like, that's just the way it goes. But anyways, I, I took diligent notes while I was watching this clip because I was like, this is important information.
[00:47:24] So they spent first, they joke about how her dress is very large because it has a floofy skirt. Then they reference that there was gin in the scene from Another Simple Favor. And Seth Meyers asks, oh, well, your husband, Ryan Reynolds has a gin company. Is it his gin? And Blake says, no, it wasn't his gin. It was the director's gin. And that was like a, we had to have a conversation like, ha ha. Just like it happened. Let's forget it ever happened. This is weird.
[00:47:53] This is like, it gets weirder. And then the clip from the movie also shows that like, Blake Gladly's character is now okay with water and with ice and a martini. Like in the first movie, it's like a big thing, like in the water. Yeah. And she's like, yeah, no, I, I love ice. And they then talk for a couple of minutes about how much they love ice. Blake says she puts ice in her milk. Okay. And I'm like, do you mean like in a lot ice latte?
[00:48:23] Because I would put ice in that as well. But like in a glass of milk that is giving weird, even for me, an adult who likes milk. And then they joke about like an ice company. And Seth Meyers makes a joke about like, well, there's no money in ice because everyone can make it. And then Blake starts singing the first song from the movie Frozen about like how they're making ice. And then they pivot in to talk about their family. And she's like, oh, my family is good.
[00:48:51] My family is like my piece. But she says, so she has like three girls and a little boy. And she says, oh, my little boy is so romantic. He announces that I'm the love of his life all the time. Like sometimes I'll be getting dressed and I'll think like, oh, is he going to think that my outfit is cute? That's like, that's what she said. Like weird ass boy mom stuff. And her kid is not that old. I didn't even know she had this. I literally thought she had all the daughters.
[00:49:21] That's her latest child. Okay. Is a son. Oh my God. And then he's like, oh, well, like do your daughters like make fun of your outfits? And she's like, my one daughter has the same birthday as Napoleon and Jennifer Lawrence. So she's like the mix of those two people. And so Mars is like, oh, is that how birthdays work?
[00:49:41] And she then takes it back again to be a boy mom of like, oh, I saw like a meme about how like if your son's ever on a date and asks you like for his star son that you should tell him to run. And so I like try not to learn too much about astrology, but she says, but my daughter's so funny, but she like will rule the world like with authoritarian like something. And Seth Meyer at least made a funny joke where he's like, oh, that's nice. It would be good to have a funny one for a while.
[00:50:11] That was the funniest part of the whole thing. Oh my God. And then they like lightly touch on the Justin Baldoni stuff of Seth basically is like, I'm not as educated on this as some people are, but I have to assume that you're not really allowed to talk about it, even if I were going to ask. And she says, what I can say without going into it is that this past year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
[00:50:35] And then talks about how fear is on purpose to keep people silent and that the women who have used their voice give her strength to use her voice to stick up for women and girls. Okay, babe. And that's all they do. And then they start talking about her husband's football team in England that he owns a part of Rexham because they've actually just been promoted.
[00:50:59] So I think next year they could theoretically get promoted to Premier League if they worked their way up to the top. But like, obviously it takes more than a year. Like it's not Ted Lasso. It's not that easy to get promoted. With Ted Lasso, they get relegated first. I think that's why, right? They get relegated and then immediately head back up, which is like not how it works at all in the Premier League. Are you excited for Ted Lasso to come back by the way? I'm so happy. Oh my God.
[00:51:28] I was like, I think I'm excited. I hope it's not shit. I hope it's not shit. But like most things are shit these days. So like I'll take it even if it's not the best. Then the last thing they talked about is like, I guess as part of a press for a simple favor, favor, Blake and two of the actors from Another Simple Favor, who are both Italian, it was like them trying New York pizza and they were giving people pizza on the street. And they joked about how Blake had so much Parmesan.
[00:51:58] And she's like, no, I had to buy the Parmesan shaker from the store. They sold this to me for $20. Like I'm going to start keeping Kraft in my purse. Girl, get the ass out of here. She's a lot of Parmesan. She's trying more to be relevant. She's trying to be relatable. Yeah, relatable is right. Not relevant. And it's just like it's giving awkward. I thought it was funny because she was like the Italian boys were like offended by some of the pizzas or they were like, you put honey on a pizza? In Italy, we fight over this is a quote she said.
[00:52:28] She was like, I don't know if that's true. So that made me laugh. And then she said her favorite New York pizza is Patsy's on 118th. And I did look it up and the pizza did look like it slaps. But of course, it's pizza. Oh, I'm sure. So listen, broken clock can be very, you know. I mean, when you're saying like a place where pizza tastes good in New York City, it's like you can't really go wrong unless you're going to be Michael Scott and say you like Sbarro's. Honestly, King behavior.
[00:52:58] But yeah, so that's all she gave us in this interview. I truly wasted 11 minutes of my life and felt the need to now waste like 10 of your minutes. I appreciate that. To hear about what was said. So yeah, she can't really say anything yet, but that's okay. Yeah. And listen, at the end of the day, it's going to all come out and then we'll decide where we go from here. It's just like they're so annoying.
[00:53:23] In the words of the great Gabby from Traders, it all come out in the wash. Correct. And then I did put two quick bites in, but like, yes, I don't think they really matter that much. Yeah. We'll just lightly. We'll just lightly touch on them. I wasn't sure how long other topics it takes. I wanted to pad it out.
[00:53:48] So first of all, Penn Badgley is doing a press tour right now for the final season of You. Mm-hmm. And two stories have come out of this that I wanted to address. One, I guess his four-year-old son's name is a secret. I didn't know this. His son is four, but nobody knows his son's real name and he's like keeping it a secret as long as possible to protect his son, which is cool. Yeah. I think Cardi B probably knows because they're, you know, besties. Maybe. I hope so.
[00:54:17] I also didn't know that Penn Badgley has a 16-year-old son as well. I know. This is like, they were like, oh, how does your family feel about this? Because also his wife is expecting twins currently. Okay. I did know she was. Yes. Okay. And so then like people are asking, oh, how does your family feel about the twins? And he's like, oh, my 16-year-old is like, I'm leaving in two years. So it's pretty weird. 16 is crazy, bro. Right? I know. I was floored. I didn't even know he had a four-year-old.
[00:54:46] And then he did an interview on Call Her Daddy, which I have not watched the whole interview because I can't do it again. She's so bad at interviewing. I literally cannot do it. And she asked him which of his characters is worse, Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl or Joe from You? Joe was a serial killer. And he was like aghast. He was like, well, like Dan, like what Dan did was bad. He was so bad.
[00:55:13] So like Joe is a serial killer. Like he's not hot. He's like Dan never masturbated in a public street. Like, what do you mean who's worse? And so I like that when he. Penn Badgley is pretty woke. So I can't imagine him not having like a good answer to something like this. People are so dumb. Like, what are we doing? Listen, I we have friends, you and I who are like, Joe is so hot. Okay. Yeah. I'm like, no, Penn Badgley is hot. The character of Joe is not hot.
[00:55:44] Stop it. And I think there is this like inherent weird. I don't know what the right word is. Like, I don't have attraction even. But, you know, when you see a candle, some people like to put their hand through it. It's like that where you know, it's crazy. You know, it's a weird situation. But hey, maybe it's for me. And babe, it's not for you. Did you hear that? Did you hear that? Our mutual friends that I'm not calling out by name because I'm a good friend. Um, yeah.
[00:56:14] There's also. Sydney Sweeney and her co-star from The Housemaid were, I guess, being really flirty at Stagecoach. Okay. And I just wanted to bring it up because I've seen people talking about Stagecoach a lot recently. Because obviously it just happened. Um, because it happens, of course, like after Coachella, it's the country music festival at the same festival grounds. Um, that Stagecoach is Coachella for mega people.
[00:56:40] And it made me think about when at Sydney's like mom's birthday, everyone was in there. Like she wasn't, but like a lot of people there were in the mega hats. Uh, and she didn't post pictures of them, but her brother did. Uh, and so she is reportedly just close pals with her co-star Brandon Sklenar, who I guess maybe has a girlfriend, maybe doesn't. But what really got me with this. Did we know that she confirmed her breakup with her fiance and Mark? Yes. Did we just talk about it?
[00:57:09] No, because I remember seeing it. I bookmarked it to talk about it. And then I forgot is what happened. I like, I was like, have I seen this news before? Do I know it? But we never actually, we know we, I don't believe we talked about it on the podcast. But then I remember being like, oh, we need to talk about this on Mess Magnets because it is finally out. Yeah. And then we didn't. Yeah. Because I think we last talked about it when it was like he was living in the house and she was in a hotel. And we were like, why is he in the house?
[00:57:38] It happened like one to two weeks after that. And so, yeah, they did officially break up. So she's single. She's allowed to do whatever she wants. I mean, one thing about Mess Magnets, we're going to be early and miss the biggest breaking news. Because why did Jojo and her girlfriend break up? Oh my God. Hours before.
[00:57:57] And she posted a video on TikTok using the audio from High Infidelity by Taylor Swift, which like the main like part of that song that people use is, do you really want to know where I was April 29th? Do I really have to tell you how he brought me back to life? Because it's about Taylor messy ass cheating, possibly on Calvin Harris, possibly on others. We don't really know.
[00:58:22] And so it's almost like an admit, like admission of cheating from Jojo Siwa to use that song as well, even though like from what we saw on the show, like she didn't actually cheat. But like. Again, it's just it's the whole thing is weird. Their age gap is weird. They've only been dating for three months. Like all of this is annoying. Jojo Siwa got dumped, I think is the is what happened.
[00:58:47] And like the dumping, because why would you fly from Australia to England to dump someone? Oh, I think if I was mad enough, I could be persuaded if I already if I already had a ticket. I'm going to have a vacation in London. I don't know. Take that away from me. Me thinks. Unfortunately, Jojo said I see the light. Well, we might not know. But yeah, it is.
[00:59:12] It is crazy how mess magnets often gets released and then six hours later, like there's a breaking update. Like we literally I feel like put it out in the ether or something. Like that's the only thing that makes sense. It's very annoying. Literally your power. But OK, are you ready for an anonymous? Yes, I'm ready. I. Was gagged. We've had this anonymous sitting for a little bit and I just don't think I read it because it is so good. Yeah.
[00:59:39] And so our messenger who uses he him pronouns. OK. Is telling us about a story that started about 15 years ago. OK. OK. So he was coming out of a long term relationship and was not ready to jump back into the dating pool. He joined a meetup.com group, which was dedicated to going out to restaurants. And so meetup is just like a website where you can like make friends who have common interests.
[01:00:06] And so the group that would go to restaurants was a mix of ages, relationship statuses. There were single people, married people, dating people, widowed people. Like it wasn't like a dating thing. Love. At our messenger's first event, he was randomly seated next to a woman who we are going to call Beth. Mm hmm. At the next two events he attended over the next two months, he again was randomly sitting next to Beth. They discussed various restaurants that they hoped the group would eventually visit.
[01:00:33] And after the third event, our messenger asked Beth if she wanted to try one of the restaurants on her bucket list with him. OK. She said, I'm in a relationship right now and I'm not looking to date someone. No, I'm in a relationship. And her messenger said, I'm not looking to date someone right now, just someone to try restaurants with. Right. Just looking for a friend. I'm not ready. And so a little bit of background on Beth. She has a PhD in psychology. She teaches.
[01:01:00] She gets a lot of research grants, regularly publishes. She's very successful. She had been previously married, but was divorced when her messenger met her. OK. Within a month of their first time trying a restaurant together, they developed a regular pattern that lasted about 15 months. On Friday night, they would hit a basic casual chain restaurant like a TGIF, Applebee's, etc. And they would catch up on the past week. On Saturday night, they would dress up and go out to a fancy restaurant alternating on each other's restaurant bucket lists.
[01:01:30] Cute, cute, cute. On Sunday, they would do stuff like catching a movie, go to a play, hit a fitness class, go hiking, etc. They would occasionally go out with other couples that they met through the dining club. And they were true BFFs. The relationship never went beyond friendship since she. Oh, she had a particular need in a relationship that she knew that I could not fulfill, which I'd love to know more about that. That's a freak. Say more. No, say more.
[01:01:58] And our messenger says, I did mention that Beth had a boyfriend at the time. OK, OK. And so what our messenger learned within a few months is that her boyfriend left her place on Friday mornings, went to work. And then after work, drove about an hour away to spend the weekend with his other girlfriend, where he would stay until Monday morning and then go to work and go to Beth's house for the week. Our messenger asked, Beth, how do you feel about this? And Beth said, I got married once for love. If I ever get married again, it's for money.
[01:02:27] And this boyfriend had money. You know, Beth, I love you. We stan. And so like this boyfriend had money and his previous divorce settlement, he had to pay off the million dollar home that he lived in with his ex-wife, give it to her and pay her $7,400 a month in the early 2000s for life. And adjusted with inflation with no time limit unless she remarried. So like rich, this is a rich, rich. Right. Wow.
[01:02:55] So Beth told her messenger multiple times that her boyfriend was not happy. About Beth spending time with our messenger. Okay. And, but like, she's not going to sit at home on the weekends just waiting for him to return from his other girlfriend's house. One time, Beth and our messenger were coming back from a weekend trip with another couple and her boyfriend called. They could only hear her side of the conversation, which was, I'm coming back from Insert City because I don't want to dox them. Yes.
[01:03:22] And mentioned our messenger's name and the two other people, followed by a pause. And then she said, well, messenger's name, actually enjoy spending the weekends with me, followed by hanging up the phone on him. About 15 months into the, the friendship, she did convince our messenger to start dating. Like, I, it seems like not her, but like other, like to get back out there. Got it. Got it. But Beth and our messenger would still hang out for a fancy restaurant every weekend.
[01:03:54] About two months after that, Beth told our messenger that her boyfriend had proposed to her, but it was on the condition that Beth no longer spend any more time with the messenger. She thanked him for all of the great times they spent together and our messenger never saw or heard from her again. So that was 15 years ago. And I can't bet like, what was that boyfriend willing to do that you weren't? Mm-hmm. Right.
[01:04:20] Um, about five years later, our messenger ran into a mutual friend who gave him an update on Beth's situation. She is still married to that man. Wow. He is still spending his weekends with his other girlfriend. Oh. Um, Beth always wanted children, but her husband did not. And so finally she did adopt twin girls.
[01:04:43] However, her husband required her to sign paperwork that would absolve him of any financial assistance for the girls if they got divorced and he would not legally adopt them. No. Aw. I take it back. Right? So like Beth is at least like, she got the money she wanted, but like at what cost? Which I think is like a very common, uh, thing that comes up when you hear about like women marrying for money where it's like you get the money, but then you lose a freedom and a sense of protection.
[01:05:13] Our messenger says, sorry about the length, but I cut out a lot of mess to make it manageable. To which I say, never apologize for the length of your mess and please send us more of this mess. No, because this is crazy. Dying. I'm literally dying for more mess. Please. I beg. And it was like, there she goes. So like no one could get hurt from it. And my thing is like, what was Beth into that? She's willing to kind of put up with this kind of stuff. She has a PhD.
[01:05:43] She gets published. Like she. You'd think wouldn't need all this, but then she said, well, if I marry again, it's for money. Oh, so I get. Yeah. So I guess she literally did not care about what he's willing to do. It's just a little bit of companionship and money. I think so. But I don't know. Maybe there's like some other. I don't know. Anyways, I would love to know more. And I'd love for our messenger to send us some of the mess that got cut from this story.
[01:06:13] Because. Yeah. I need the details on like what Beth was into him. Am I weird? Tell me. I mean, you might be, but like, it's okay. Okay. Yeah. We're all weird. Handward. Yeah, exactly. But yeah. So that is our anonymous for today. I think in all time. Anonymous in my personal opinion. Yes. And please send more mess. If this has reminded you of anything, any mess at all, send it to us. Messmagnets.com.
[01:06:42] We also have tinyurl.com slash messmagnets. Please. Please. Anonymous. And we literally won't be able to do it if we don't get a significant increase in mess. Like what? Do you want us to be more Reddit stories podcast? No, absolutely not. Come on. Because that's where you're, you are driving us into that territory. If you don't send us more mess. And the whole point of this podcast is that we work together. Yeah. Literally. Please. Coworkers in mess. Correct.
[01:07:12] We need to like create like something to post on our Instagrams to get our like IRL people to send. More. Oh my God. Can you? I asked for someone to send me gossip on my Instagram story a couple of weeks ago. And someone replied to it telling me that they're pregnant. And like they have not announced this pregnancy to anyone. Like I think I'm the only one who knows. Oh my God. It's no one you know. Don't worry. Yeah. I was like, then you have to tell me. Sorry.
[01:07:44] I was, but I was like so gooped because I had no idea. And I was like, oh my God, like how far along are you? And she's like, oh, I'm in the second trimester now. Oh, okay. So at least a little bit safer. It's like, it's like a time when like, I like what this particular person, I would have expected some sort of like very silly pregnancy announcement. I love a silly pregnancy announcement.
[01:08:09] Can I just like, I think it's so fun when people are just like taken to absolutely like joke, like piss out of like this silly things. I think it's really funny when people make like TikToks mocking the silly. Like I think I would want to do something funny like the greatest collab of 2026 or 2027 whatever is dropping.
[01:08:37] Like I like some album cover. No, sometimes people do crazy ones. Yeah. Like, I don't know. Like, I think I love a good like I ate too much moment or like with all the food around or yeah. Anyway, I just I love this kind of stuff. I think it's so funny. Gender reveals, though. Not so much. But announcements, I think are very like I if you're being funny, I love your announcement.
[01:09:08] Just I yeah. And even if it's like sweet, like I I just think I mean, how people like come together to make posts. And it's crazy to think about how many people had to come together for you to be born like in life. It's like the amount generationally, the amount of things that had to go right at the right time to be specifically born as you, the person that you are.
[01:09:37] Um, Kate, did you know that they're currently developing a Desperate Housewives spinoff? Yes, I actually did know that. Um, and your girl has restarted watching Desperate Housewives. It's so good. Oh, my God. We could just become a Desperate Housewives recap podcast. Can you imagine? Oh, my God. I love that show. Again, one of those. This was one of the ones where my family just like Grey's Anatomy. Yes. From night one.
[01:10:04] Like, because Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives came out the same year, like a week apart or something like that. And me and my family were there day one. My family was locked into both shows. And so it's just wild. Yeah. Like, I'm OG, OG for these fans, for this though. Literally. My sister and I rewatched all Desperate Housewives over COVID when it was like, you can have a bubble of three people. And so we could only really see each other and her husband.
[01:10:33] And so I don't ever want to wish that on people. But like, it was a nice moment to have like everyone you cared about all together. And you had to be stuck together. It's like, at least there's some good memories, even though it was like, that's all it was absolute trash and came from horrible, horrible things. And like we the collective trauma is something that I don't think we've even the amount of people remotely started to process the people that like have made it through.
[01:11:00] But like, it was nice to watch Desperate Housewives with my sister. Yeah. It doesn't negate. I enjoy that my mom was here for six months. Yeah. It's just. Anyways. But I don't. Yeah. I don't miss like how many people lost their lives. No, obviously. Obviously not. And if anybody thought that, then they're not true messengers. But no, it's fair. Sometimes when you get triggered, you don't think. You know. That's true. That's true too. OK, well, that is it. That is Mess Magnets for today.
[01:11:28] I think we both did an excellent job as per usual. Sasha, if people want to hear more from you, what do you have going on right now? Yeah. Besides Mess Magnets, not much.
