[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It takes a lot. Normally, this is the thing.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_02]: People whenever we do like a YouTube, people love it.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_02]: They're like, yay, YouTube, we can talk about it in the comments.

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_02]: We can have a conversation, which is great.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_02]: We love that too.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: But then the downside to that is like generally when we record mess magnets,

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_02]: we're in what I like to call Hague mode.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And that doesn't work with a video podcast.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_03]: So all of this to say, not to get many compliments that were pretty,

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_03]: but it's more to say that if you're finding us on YouTube for the first time

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_03]: or maybe you only listen to us when we're here on Rob is a Podcast YouTube channel,

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_03]: we are a weekly podcast and we are almost always on.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_03]: We talk about everything topical, everything going on in the world.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And if you're confused about why something is trending,

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_03]: you need to be checking out Rob as a website slash mess feed

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_03]: because that's what we're talking about it.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people were confused about ice spice.

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I did the research, y'all.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I put the info together so that all us older Millennials

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_03]: and older, older whatever can get can get hit with these youth.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't ever say that again.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't get it on purpose.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I knew it was cringe.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_02]: That was so horrible.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I do want to say last time we were pretty down.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_02]: We're like, where's the reviews?

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_02]: We asked for reviews and we did get a tweet from Wednesday all weekend

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: who said, oh, dang, I reviewed on podcast and y'all didn't see it.

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So they then sent a screenshot and said,

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_02]: thank you listening to Kirsten and Sasha and or their fabulous guests

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_02]: is always a highlight of my week.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd be so out of the loop without them.

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Even when they discuss something I'm not initially that interested in,

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: they get me into it because I love their dynamic so much.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I only wish I hadn't blocked out so much mess for my earlier years

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: so I could submit an anonymous if I ever have therapy

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_02]: and bring these things back up, I promise to send them in.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen to this amazing pod now.

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Period. OK, so if we're meeting you for the first time, welcome.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_03]: You are now a messenger in case you knew or didn't know.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. But here we are.

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's just it's a really fun time.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_03]: This is a vibes only podcast.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Don't take a serious on unless we tell you to.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, well, take us like a little serious, but we'll also tell you and not to.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just like this is an unserious, serious podcast.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's what we should say.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, we do a good amount of like research.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_03]: This isn't just like it. Here's what we're feeling.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_03]: We do research if we don't know something and we we like to get all the tea about everything.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_03]: So we talk about I don't know anything you can think of.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about it.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I just got asked by Akiva to do some research on sports.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_03]: So I also have sports tea that ends up here.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Just all right.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, the point is you should be checking on mass magnets.

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And now I'm done with my elevator pitch that was three minutes long.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And we're on it right now.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_03]: So you're here. You made it.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, so let's do it because I'm really excited to talk about this one.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you are, but it's fine.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, we the Rob has a podcast, you to know Rob is a podcast.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Facebook group has been buzzing with this show and we said, just hold on because we're coming.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_03]: All right, we're coming. We're talking about it.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, our first mess is the secret life of Mormon wives.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And Kate, yes, I'm going to like get into the here and I'm going to talk about everything.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_02]: But first, I just have one thing to say.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_02]: You have to say it. Yeah, I'm sorry.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: These women are all horribly boring.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so like I get all the stuff that's happening is like wild.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're like a Mormon in Utah, so it's like, OK, I get it.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It's wild, like for their lives.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_02]: But in general, it gets boring.

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_02]: The drama is silly.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no like there's just no reason for them to be so dramatic about every little thing.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And I and I watched all damn eight episodes.

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I still can't tell half the women apart.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, I know what part of it.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Jen, well, you do.

[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_02]: You know which one's Jen and which one's Demi.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy. I can't recognize which one is Jen.

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, am I? Oh, Jen Affleck.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can tell Jen Affleck is.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. Yes. Sorry. I thought you were talking about the other two.

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_03]: The thing is, y'all.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, I don't think person's wrong.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I personally just have a this is what I texted her to have like an unnatural,

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_03]: like fascination, allegiance, as Cat Williams said, whatever you want to call it

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_03]: to these like fundamental Christian groups.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I don't know how to explain it.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I find them very fascinating.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: But like they're not even doing the fundamental do nothing.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm trying to tell you.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_03]: If you watch it, 19 kids and counting, it was just them going grocery shopping.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But like at least that is like a genuine glimpse into something that's different.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_02]: These are like people are like, oh, we're supposed to do this, this and this.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: But actually, sometimes we drink and also ketamine is totally fine, apparently.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And we do laugh. Yeah.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like so like who are you?

[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you're just hypocrites.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I saw a tweet that was like the main takeaway I have from the secret lives of Mormon wives

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_02]: is that Mormonism is a religion with really weird rules.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And all of your time is spent looking for even weirder loopholes to get around them.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's what I do.

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, it's fine.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I love it. Inject it into my veins.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I love trash reality TV.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not even joking.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care. It's so silly.

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I love low stakes stuff.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_03]: But here's the thing. I have so much to be angry about that I'm here on this.

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I there is a lot to be angry about.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And like I'm getting full.

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I watched all of it. I'm in it, too.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I just I needed to know how I feel emotionally about it.

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_03]: That's fair. So let's let's talk through for all the people that are V confused about what's going on.

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So yes, I ask one question first, actually.

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So the inciting incident of this series is this tick talker on Mom Talk named Taylor

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_02]: exposed the quote soft swinging that was happening in Mom Talk, which to me, I would have thought like Mom Talk would just mean any tick talk about being a mom.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But for these waves, Pacific women, it's like, no, it's about us being moms and that's it.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. Like, OK, you're the first moms on tick tock. Cool.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever. Anyways, so she exposed this like swinging and said that everyone was swinging with everyone, blah, blah, blah.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So were these women all swinging?

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, why are they acting like Taylor's the only one who is swinging?

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, so who are the swingers? What is like what?

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand. No, that's the T.

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_03]: So here's the thing. They should have been like, Taylor, we make you the main person.

[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_03]: You've got a name name or you got to leave because I did a little bit of research into this because, yes, I also had the same question.

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Original Mom Talk. And can I be honest?

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_03]: We talked about the swinging mess on one of the magnets.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I, to this day, thought it was Mon like Mormon M.O.N. talk.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_03]: So I said, why are they keep saying mom, mom, mom? It's obviously Montauk.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I know. I know. I'm just saying this out like crazy old.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I am. But anyway, so the joke is I did some research.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_03]: They were originally Taylor and two other women that were and their husbands that were part of Mom Talk.

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And then it almost ballooned into more people.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_03]: So allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly.

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I think that it is those three couples that were the soft sweat that were the full.

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And so wait, so. And the other two couples are not involved in this show.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_02]: They're not. That's why I believe it has to be them.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, OK. Well, whatever.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I also am like if people want to make out with other people and all those are all fine hairs.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_02]: No, Taylor had sex with them.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and also, OK, if everyone's OK with it, who cares?

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, apparently that was against the rules, guys.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's why because they were swinging, not full swinging.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And Taylor gets drunk. OK.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And I would believe that. Mm hmm.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_03]: So basically this is yeah.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's how this happened.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Taylor was part of this thing, the soft swinging, whatever you want to call it.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_03]: She divorces her husband or is going through a divorce.

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And bless our heart, Taylor is always in some mess.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So she exposes all of this.

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Momtow goes viral. They now have Hulu show.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_03]: That is it. That is the trajectory, everyone.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, we're going to be following eight women.

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Taylor, Paul, Demi, Engerman, Jen Affleck.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, you heard it right. And she is a relation.

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, her husband is a really.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Her husband is a second cousin of Ben Affleck and Jen tried it.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, and Jen was like, I'm the real Jenny from the block. Shut up.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Just shut up. And Jesse.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my God. Jesse, her last name starts with an N and I'm so sorry.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't. Yeah. Laila Taylor, Macy Neely,

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Michaela Matthews and Whitney Levitt. OK.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Who and like, let's breathe.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_02]: We need to be so clear. Need to be so clear.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: There are. Are really two women on this show that have star power,

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's Taylor, Frankie, Paul and Whitney Levitt.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry to say, and I believe

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_03]: that the only people that should have star power is Jesse and Demi.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yes. But unfortunately, yeah, you're not wrong.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I just want to make that clear.

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Like when I say this is what star power, I am not saying this is who I like

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: the best or who I'm for. What the hell?

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about who is actually like good TV. Correct.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And anyway, so like I said,

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Taylor just shared that the reason she gets divorced is right.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_03]: She was she broke the rules of soft swinging agreement

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03]: with the other couples. And if you're wondering what soft swinging is,

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_03]: just quickly, Taylor says Tate, her ex-husband and I

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_03]: open these doors, let people in our lives.

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know what you would call it like soft swinging where you don't

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_03]: fully switch and you don't go all the way.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, so are they allowed to soak?

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_03]: That's the thing I me thinks not.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, if all the Mormons who are saving for marriage are allowed to soak

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's not against any of you don't know what soaking is.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_02]: No, we're talking about it right now.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you somehow have made it to this point, you don't know what soaking is.

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a like Mormon practice that not like for the part of the church,

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: but like Mormon kids will do. Yeah.

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Deal with it, Sasha.

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So the Mormon kids will do so that they're not technically having sex,

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: but they want to have sex.

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_02]: They'll do like you do like one penetration yet.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you get a friend to jump on the bed for any motion.

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And what I found out is you pay per jump.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So you actually get paid to jump on the bed for your friends.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Hmm, no. And here's the thing.

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to say one positive thing, not positive, one.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_03]: No, sorry. Yeah. One interesting observation.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a lot of stamina.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Is that the right word to just stay there and not do anything?

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm sure it like I didn't listen for the flag.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_02]: No, that's crazy.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all I mean.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I think for it to like just stay at full mass is like,

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_02]: it probably is like uncomfortable. Yeah, that's my point.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just fascinating.

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all I know.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Neither of us have the equipment to speak on it.

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to know.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to hear anything.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to hear anything.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't tell us.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't even think to talk about it.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_02]: But there is in the show, Jury Duty,

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: which was where it was like all actors and then the one guy,

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_02]: there is a quote like soaking scene where they,

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: they asked the guy like if he'll jump on the bed for them.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And he says, no, thank God.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Imagine if he'd said yes.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And the scene has seen as well as funniest scenes of TV.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I've ever watched in my life.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: But yes, so the people that are cast on the show

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_03]: explicitly say we have never swung.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_03]: We don't engage in non-monogamy except Whitney's husband, apparently.

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know, we don't do it.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And they don't name drop the other members of the swinging group,

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_03]: which is implied that they're not cast on the show,

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_03]: which is why I really believe it was those other two.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that theory makes sense.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I spent the whole time being like,

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So who's the who are the swingers?

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And so it makes a lot of sense that they are not featured on the on the screen.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So the first episode of this show is like a year before the second episode,

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_02]: because they really filmed a pilot and nobody wanted to pick it up,

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_02]: which is fumble because look at how much money they made.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, maybe they needed that extra time.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my. For it to happen.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. But there's a few like big

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_02]: bombshells that drop right in the beginning.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: The first, of course, is so Whitney and her husband had moved to Hawaii

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and they made it seem like they moved to Hawaii.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It was like about the swinging thing, which is why I was

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_02]: used when they were saying, no, we don't swing.

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_02]: But they're just and then in the second episode, they're like coming back.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And Whitney is a grade, a liar,

[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_03]: gas lighter.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_03]: She's a professional victim.

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that's the best way to scare everything.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_03]: She is struggling with not everything.

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Most of what she's struggling with.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_03]: She has been the the the the flint that starts the fire.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_02]: She's messy. She's messy.

[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_02]: But her like first big thing is we find out that

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_02]: they moved to Hawaii because her husband had been on Tinder

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_02]: because he is a porn addict.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, I just to me, if someone's a porn addict,

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_02]: they're going to be on only fans or they're going to be on Porn Hub.

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be on other pornography websites.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_02]: If someone's on Tinder, to me, that would imply

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_02]: that they're more of a sex addict than a porn addict.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_02]: But again, I'm not a psychologist.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know these people.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't diagnose. We're not diagnosing.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_03]: We're just giving our opinions. All right. That's it.

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_03]: But no, I just it's very bizarre.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, because you one, they made a whole video.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_03]: They lied about it, right?

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That this never happened, which is why I do believe every single

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_03]: one of these women is going to lie if it benefits them and their image.

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_03]: So anything that they have said on the show, take with

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_03]: not a grain, a big of their own.

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Of salt, because if for them to just be honest

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_03]: about their life, challenge level impossible.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, she's like, I lied about it because I was embarrassed.

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_03]: But why was he on Tinder?

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And why did why does he have 17 million different looks on the show?

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Is he in witness protection?

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I I was watching a tick tock that was like,

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_02]: here's the timeline of like Whitney and Connor.

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And it literally went through all the times her hair changes

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and his hair changes of like when he bleaches it,

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_02]: when he had a mohawk, when he shaved it off, when it's dark.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So like he changes looks frequently and so does Whitney.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_02]: She had like three hair styles in the first two episodes of the show.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_02]: To be fair, there was like a year apart. Yeah.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's like that's their big thing.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And I get like, should we do it?

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know how to best cover this.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: But like her other big thing is she's really jealous

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: that Taylor is like the face because.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. So it's really set up as like I feel at least the first episode,

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_03]: which leads us into the rest is it's set up really as team

[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Whitney or team Taylor, because is this in the first episode or?

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. First episode where they all come together for a meeting

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_03]: at someone's house. Mind you, they're all wearing the same.

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_03]: They're all wearing black and they all meet together to talk.

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And Taylor's like, oh, yeah, I have something to share.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Taylor's seeing a new man now.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I might be pregnant.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is where Whitney just told him about the Tinder thing.

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And Taylor immediately is like, also, I may be pregnant.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's bad news because we think I miscarried or it's a topic.

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is, oh, I thought Taylor said it first and then Whitney start.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it was after he said it.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And then that's when he's like, what the hell?

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, why can't I ever have a moment? Yeah.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And why did you make it?

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Immediately? Yeah. Forget what Whitney just said.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, OK, he was on Tinder because they're like, did he do anything?

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_03]: And she goes, no. Impossible. Sure.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_02]: OK. And this is where like I've seen a lot of theories, too,

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_02]: that like when his husband may have been on a different dating app.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_02]: But there are like the reason why it came out is because there were

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_02]: screenshots of people posting that they saw him on Tinder specifically.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So OK, so maybe it was Tinder. Yeah.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's wild because the other big issue, and this comes up later

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_03]: in there, like when they go on a little birthday

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_03]: getaway is that Whitney is so jealous of Taylor that Whitney

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_03]: posted a really I just want to call it gross.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how else to say it.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's one of the worst things I've ever seen in my entire life.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It is so horrifying.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_02]: She posted a tick tock, y'all.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And her kid was out of danger,

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_03]: but the baby was still in the hospital and the baby is like laying

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, in a in a crib or whatever the glass incubator incubator.

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. Or something.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And she does a horror tick tock dance

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_03]: to share what's been going on.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And when I tell you take time, dance, it's one of them old school.

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_03]: The Addison rate. Like, yes.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like the baby was in the hospital for RSV.

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he took the baby to the doctor.

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_02]: The doctor was like, this baby's oxygen level is you need to go

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_02]: to the emergency room right now.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the baby was hospitalized and like

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_02]: RSV is like really serious for babies if anyone doesn't know.

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you and hey, if you don't know now, you know, it's fall.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's starting to be our species.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And don't be kissing any baby's heads and don't be kissing

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_02]: any baby's hands.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Keep your face away from other people's babies.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Because that's just serious.

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_02]: But she posts it's like it's horrible.

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_02]: She's doing this like happy dance about like, oh, my baby has RSV

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_02]: and is in the hospital, blah, blah, blah.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And her justification is like, well, they were out of danger.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just wanted to like cheer myself up. No.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_02]: You want to go to jail.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_02]: She should be below the jail.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like even if she wanted clout from that, like that's the craziest thing

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_02]: to do to try and get clout.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand it.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And I actually don't think she deserves forgiveness for that.

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I agree. I just think it's so weird.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Everything Taylor has said or felt, not everything.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry. This swinging thing was like adults, right?

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_03]: She just outed kind of what adults are doing.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_03]: You're doing a dance while your baby lays there.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Weirdo energy. I'm sorry.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And y'all just have to see the TikTok to understand the cringe level.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I and I'm not saying I'm an amazing dancer or anything,

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_03]: but the folks that believe that they're good dancers because of these.

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_03]: The white versions of these TikTok dances that have happened.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think what's crazy is isn't Whitney

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_02]: the one who was trained as a professional dancer before?

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm sure I'm not.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is why it's so crazy that the dance is so bad.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I again, this is definitely my like boomer take.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I just those dances don't they I just I find them cringe.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care how hard you hit each thing.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It just it does. It looks a mess to me, to me.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And I understand why people like them.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not like yucking anyone's yum.

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it looks cringe, especially when your kids in the hospital.

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just weirdo.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Like that's like Whitney whole thing there.

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And yes, so she's not the Taylor got forgiveness easier than her as well,

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_02]: which like a tailored.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't I don't understand.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Taylor needs like quote, forgiven it.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I guess that's part of like the Mormon thing of like

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Taylor not being quote unquote Mormon enough for the rest.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And she like she opened everyone up to scrutiny like, oh, Whitney,

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_03]: were you swinging where was this person swinging that?

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_03]: So I think that's the issue here.

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_03]: I guess, yeah, that is this issue then.

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, then end of episode one, we we kind of learned

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_03]: that Taylor's dating this man named Dakota.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_03]: And they have a little on and off, you know, like it's toxic.

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_03]: But that's the best way.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Really toxic. Yes.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And then end of this episode is

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Taylor is arrested that night.

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And she says at dinner, I'm going to get drunk.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, well, I am recovering.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not going to do this.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's just like, she's great, but I want to party.

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And what is so fun about just by yourself drinking at home

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_03]: while maybe your kids are around?

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand that part.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_03]: But either way, you do you.

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't ever anyone can drink.

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Who cares? But it's just it has escalated.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_03]: So then she gets arrested for domestic violence in presence of a child

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_03]: after a drunken argument with him.

[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's it's literally wild.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_02]: The police are called because the neighbors heard smashing

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_02]: and she was like throwing chairs at the metal chairs.

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_02]: WWE style.

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Not what the hell are you doing?

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_02]: And like what was wild to me was that the show actually had

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_02]: the body camera footage of the officers that arrested her.

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And so that's how the episode ends is she gets arrested

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and then it picks up like a year later, she's in probation.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_02]: She did a plea deal.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm hmm. And it hit one of those kids who had like a like a bump,

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_03]: like a goose egg side bump on their head.

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, what are we doing here, bro?

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just what you should not be forgiven for 100 percent.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_02]: 100 percent.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And the other thing too is, is just like you have to remember

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_02]: that Taylor's like in her late 20s, like she's a full adult.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_02]: She acts like she's like 20.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Correct. Because the other a lot of them are younger

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_03]: and we'll get into it about why they're so young.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Why are they?

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, I have many feelings about that, but this is almost 30 year old.

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Be so serious.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it like I do understand there is an element of like arrested

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: development from having that specific upbringing as well.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's just like very, very, yeah, sure.

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like very jarring to see.

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I know that it's nearly 30.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. And then you have Layla, right, who is the youngest.

[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm just like, dude, she is fine and acts good.

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_03]: She might be the most mature of them all. Mm hmm.

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Who?

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's just it's very bizarre.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but here we are.

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_03]: And anyway, so let's yeah.

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Whitney also has in addition to her husband,

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_03]: her storyline, because a lot of them, fun fact, even if they are

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_03]: posting the trad wife lifestyle, not this group of women necessarily,

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_03]: but in general, right? Like this is becoming huge.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_03]: We talked about ballerina farms.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're all almost all of them are the breadwinners.

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Of their house.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: No, they all are.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I saw a interview and it was literally like

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_02]: how many of you are the breadwinner with your influence money?

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And they all raised their hand.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I was like, oh, how do your husbands take in there?

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, our husbands are so good with that.

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, OK, yeah.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm hmm. Yep.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it's very weird.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it's bizarro.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_03]: And so that to say, Brittany is Whitney ends up speaking about, hey,

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I finally do get a lot of money.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it's 20,000, maybe more or whatever.

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And all I need to do is promote a vibrator on an Instagram post. Yes.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, I want to do it as like an empowering thing,

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_03]: which I think makes sense because their community,

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, maybe doesn't necessarily talk about women's pleasure

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_03]: in that way is what she's at least saying.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_03]: And she talks to her mom about her mom and sister, and they're both like,

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_03]: well, it's personal. It should be between you and your partner.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, you do you kind of whatever.

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Here's the biggest bombshell that I feel like

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_03]: not enough people online are talking about.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm pissed. OK.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Layla, who is 22 at the time of this episode,

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_03]: has two kids by this time, says,

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's interesting that you all are talking about vibrators and sex toys

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_03]: because I've never had an orgasm.

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Her husband found dead while she is divorced.

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_02]: So at least there's that.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, at least there's that.

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_02]: But then she talks about how like she's even tried twice,

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_02]: but she like is scared to say scared to finish.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, girl, go for it. Let it happen.

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_03]: So I just I need like a thumbs up or thumbs down from Layla.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, has it happened?

[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Has it not? Because that broke my now.

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that just broke me because I was a girl.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Why are there people out in this world that have not felt this?

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it's terrible.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I think they want to feel it is what I mean.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. But who doesn't want?

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know. Layla.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Well. I feel for her.

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I really do. And Whitney does end up posting it.

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So she got and she talks to her mom about it, and her mom is like.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Her mom seemed fine with it, honestly, like her mom was like

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe a little disapproving, but I felt like she came across

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: like a lot more sex positive than all the younger women did. Mm hmm.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's another Whitney piece of it.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Then, of course, we again.

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_03]: One thing Whitney's going to do is bring the drama

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_03]: because by this time, like Kirsten said, there's a big jump

[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_03]: between episode one and the rest.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Taylor is fully pregnant again, like about to pop.

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. And they're all going,

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, they're all now away from Macy,

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_03]: who seems to be the most even killed with everyone.

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Her husband seems fine. Mm hmm.

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Great. So they're all like chatting and,

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, Whitney and Taylor like finally start to have a heart to heart.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And Whitney just seems a little bit like you said, professional

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_03]: victim where she's like, hmm, I don't know.

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just coming from here and you just don't you know,

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_03]: you're not a good friend, blah, blah, blah.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Mind you, Whitney is at this point like she has shown her two colors

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_03]: and I just I don't I don't care. She's annoying.

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a Whitney will like

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: miss a major friendship milestone event.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And then afterwards, we're like, oh, I just like didn't think we were friends.

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So I didn't think I had to say anything.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't want to say anything like I felt good with it.

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, OK, well, then why are you popping back up?

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Right. Like if you're out, you're out.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are you still like appearing?

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And then and she'll come for like random events that have no meaning.

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And she just wants people and I personally know people like this

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_03]: that she wants attention while saying she doesn't want attention.

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, those people that are like, I hate drama

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_03]: and they'd be the number one people that are in drama.

[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_02]: The people that say they hate drama are the ones that are in drama the most.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I like to say like, I don't like drama, but I will get involved if I need to.

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I do like drama.

[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever I can.

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want other people's.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like my own drama. That's fair.

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my gosh.

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. So that's how this really feels.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And then they all kind of gang up on her,

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_03]: specifically Jesse, who drags her in front of everyone.

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, no, you're like annoying.

[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_03]: You put you tell this person's info here or that person's info there.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And then you're like, well, if you said it to me, I'm being a good friend

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_03]: and I'm just sharing that you call Taylor white trash.

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And she just she does.

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_03]: There's like no accountability.

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like lights are on.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's OK to call people white.

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, no, it's obviously not like a nice thing to say to someone.

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, like that was a moment that was one and done.

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And you're now bringing it up and making that person feel bad.

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. Everything about drives me crazy.

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's just anyway, professional victim.

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And after that, there's a few more things with Whitney.

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_03]: But long story short, she ends up leaving the group chat.

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I wait. But can we talk about the fruity pebbles?

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes. Oh, my God. Sorry.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Because how could we ignore the free pass?

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, there's a story I don't even know.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's the other thing.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Again, as I said, I believe it's all these women.

[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I do not know who which one.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Honestly, if you can tell all the women of the secret

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_02]: lives of Mormon wives apart, turn off your TV, go outside and touch some grass.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they should be able to do it.

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Plastic surgeon. You literally cannot tell them apart.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's it's truly wild.

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_02]: This show did make me want hair extensions, though.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, because they they look great.

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_02]: They did their hair is those Mormon girls.

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_02]: They really do. They do the damn thing.

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so yeah, it's Demi.

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_02]: They're having it.

[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So Demi is having.

[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, wait, wait. One second.

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Demi, who is married to someone

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_03]: that she knew that was having kids when she was nine years old.

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_03]: And Demi says it herself.

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's why it's like, girl, I can't even hate on you.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And not only his name is Brett,

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Brett was signed up by Demi to be on The Bachelorette.

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_03]: And yes, I want to know when Demi was still with her husband

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_03]: and he had just gotten divorced from his second wife, I believe.

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it was after the first or second.

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Want to know who Brett's second wife is?

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Who Angie ate from

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_03]: who was a friend on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_02]: See, and this is the something why isn't this in the show?

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Why is all about the bad drama?

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Look, why is that? Why isn't the interesting drama coming up?

[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: This is so annoying to me.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, so sorry.

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So I needed to share that. OK.

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Valentine's party with all of my friends.

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I love please invite me to all.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I love that.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so Galentine's Day is the day before Valentine's Day.

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a day to spend with your female friends.

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_02]: If you watch Parks and Rec, she always like it's waffle

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_02]: and celebrates Galentine's Day.

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, so seven Galentine's Party.

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's also really funny because she set it to start at seven

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and everyone starts showing up and she's not ready yet

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_02]: because she thought it was at seven.

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Which like you're not going to be ready in advance

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_02]: of your own party that you're hosting.

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And again, her husband was doing all the prep.

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, he's like, anyone want to help me with the charcuterie board?

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Cricket. And no one said a thing.

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So anyways, they're having a Galentine's Party with like gifts and stuff.

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a classy event.

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, Whitney and two of the other wives

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_02]: are getting ready together at Whitney's house before they go over.

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And they.

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Are talking about how like Demi and her husband are like kind of wild

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_02]: and they do things that are so crazy.

[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And we find out that what they're talking about that's so crazy

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_02]: is literally her sitting on her husband's face, which is like, OK.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy to them. They would never do that.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_02]: They've never done anything so crazy and they never tell anyone about it.

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But the gag is allegedly allegedly

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_02]: when Demi and her husband did this sexual act,

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_02]: it tasted like fruity pebbles, I guess.

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is, you know,

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_03]: and I understand, right, like this is something new for them.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_03]: This community maybe isn't so up on game with things.

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's it's what's one step above vanilla.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what that feels like.

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And there's nothing wrong with vanilla either. Absolutely.

[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I know. I was on that hill.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's also just like, OK, like this is such a thing where it's like, OK, yeah.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And you might tell your friends that and you have a little tea.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_02]: But Whitney decides, you know what?

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually want this to definitely make it on the show.

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. And so I am going to fill a box with fruity pebbles

[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_02]: to give to her so that when she opens it, it's like about that story,

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_02]: which is really fucked up, honestly, like for money.

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I know it's like, oh, it's the fruity pebbles, whatever.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_02]: But I actually felt really bad for Demi in this situation

[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_02]: because I was like rude of what need to do.

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_02]: If you know that your friend, like doesn't want to talk about that.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And I guess Demi and her husband had said

[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_02]: that they wouldn't tell anyone about that. So Demi messed up.

[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to make that clear.

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_03]: But Whitney takes it to the final nail in the coffin.

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_03]: That's why people I think don't like Whitney because fine.

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Demi messed up.

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's fair to say that.

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_03]: But then why does she why does Whitney have to like drive the point home?

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And then Demi is like, hey, this is not cool.

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm angry. Whitney walks away, Kirsten.

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_02]: What the hell? Yeah, well, it was just a joke.

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And so if you get mad at Whitney, then you're really being rude to her.

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. OK, whatever.

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_03]: I like it. Like, shut up, Whitney.

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Literally, there are people dying, Kim.

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_03]: That's how I feel about Whitney.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, so that's a little bit about it.

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And then so after that,

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_03]: we have then Whitney leaves the group chat.

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is so dramatic.

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's because she wants to be the leader of mom talk

[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and nobody will let her be the quote leader.

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, I'm sorry.

[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are you as adults requiring a leader of your friend group?

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so weird.

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so bizarre.

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_03]: And then remember when they go for some sodas because.

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I love it. We got to have our 44 ounce

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_03]: sodas because Mormon, again, this is according to the show,

[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_03]: can't have any caffeine, but sodas are OK.

[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Well, that's the thing.

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the rule is supposed to be you can't have caffeine, right?

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Period. But they're like, we can't have coffee or tea.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_02]: But soda is fine.

[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And I always find this very confusing.

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_02]: But obviously, like people practice their religions at different levels

[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_02]: all the time.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like every religion has people who are different levels of observant.

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know why.

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's not that surprising.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But I feel like even like the people in this group

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_02]: that talk about how they're like the most Mormon

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_02]: and they practice it the most out of anyone are like,

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I have a 40 ounce soda three times a week because it's OK.

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, is it is it OK?

[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I like I always get a week.

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was daily.

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So at least three a day.

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. Oh, my God.

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Whose body could fit that much liquid?

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And especially these women, she would be dead.

[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_03]: It was just so funny.

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And again, the side plots are what make the show

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_03]: because it doesn't mean anything.

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_03]: But you're just like, what?

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_03]: What's going on?

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's bad.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Or it's also where they get laughing to have Botox.

[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like.

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Why is like the drug that kills the most brain cells?

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, why are you so casually doing this?

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my God, it's just, you know, it is unserious.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_03]: These people and I love it.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So anyway. Yeah.

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_03]: So she leaves.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_03]: So after three people, she leaves the group chat.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Nobody moves.

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Everyone's like, oh, right.

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_03]: And how they how they combat Whitney,

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_03]: because a lot of folks are like she's transactional in her relationships.

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Whitney is very much like, what can you do for me?

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And then we'll go from there.

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_03]: So everyone just kind of irritated.

[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_03]: But then they say, great.

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Now we're only going to put in this group chat events.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_03]: So if she doesn't make it or get invited, that's on her

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_03]: is because she left said group chat.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_03]: So there's a few events after that Whitney obviously doesn't go to.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Because, you know, allegedly producers, I'm sure told her about it.

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_03]: But still, I find it so funny because she doesn't show up to her one friend.

[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Macy's a product launch.

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And they all when the countdown happens or Macy's launching the site,

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_03]: they do this.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_03]: They use that countdown as a let's all unfollow her.

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And like Macy's the only one that's nice to her or defends her ever.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And so, like, why are you not going to her event?

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It was she went to Layla's divorce party.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, what the hell is happening?

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Also, the divorce party was wild.

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like good for you celebrate your divorce.

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_02]: But like, why are you framing it as a funeral?

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's strange to me.

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I think there is a way to funeral, like, to say like, oh, my past is dead

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_03]: and then do like an outfit change in the middle of it.

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that would have been cute.

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_03]: The thing is, it's just a little bit boring.

[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_03]: But I understand that, like, they're Mormons.

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_03]: So there's only so many things they can do, maybe.

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_03]: But but that outfit she got on.

[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know where the garment is hiding.

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's I saw a lot of comments on the show.

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Where are their garments?

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, we don't generally forget them.

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And she was upset when she forgot hers.

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about Jen Affleck.

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I have many feelings.

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I? OK, yes.

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I have way more feelings about her husband, Zach,

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_02]: who is like a demon walking among us.

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_03]: So here's I have many questions for Jen Affleck.

[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_03]: So Jen Affleck is so sweet.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I really enjoyed her.

[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I just thought she was like a nice, cute person.

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Again, breadwinner of said family.

[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_03]: In my mind, she's a single mom.

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't tell me otherwise because she is paying

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_03]: for her husband to go to BYU, which is a private school, med school.

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_03]: OK. In addition to the care of their kids.

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So this is no, he was at BYU for his undergrad

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and then he was going to med school,

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_02]: except the graduation party for undergrad in the season.

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Undergrad. That was his undergrad graduation.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And then at the end of this season, they talk about how he got into

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_02]: med school in New York and how that would be like a conflict.

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but he's older than he's like 27.

[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't know.

[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, whatever. Weird.

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't think you're wrong, because I remember seeing a picture

[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_03]: in my mind. I don't know why.

[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was more than that.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, I don't care. BYU is expensive as hell.

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Even for undergrad and y'all.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Why is Jen paying for

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_03]: this mole rats?

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Tuition, you ask, why is he as a man so blonde?

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. So let's let's talk.

[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, because in case you didn't know,

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_03]: his dad is a surgeon.

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_03]: OK. And their wealth disparity, Jen chairs is so high

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_03]: is that her mom is a cleaner

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_03]: at the hospital that his dad is a surgeon at.

[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And here's my issue with Jen.

[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_03]: That mole rat is you're paying for him to go to school.

[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Why aren't you retiring your mom?

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, she can't afford to retire her mom

[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_01]: because her husband gambles away all their money.

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Zach's parents gave them money.

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Period. Help pay for school.

[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And he gambled it away.

[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's still with this loser and having kids with the girls.

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_03]: You deserve better. I get it.

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_03]: She was raised in the Mormon culture, but like my God.

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's just he is so terrible.

[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_03]: He makes it to where certain people can't come to their baby blessing

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_03]: because they were sneaking alcohol, not.

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, OK. Yeah.

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_02]: There. I like I don't think it's cool for him

[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_02]: to get to just like have the say on who gets to go to the baby person

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_02]: or whatever. However, they weren't like sneaking alcohol.

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Like this was a party at Zach and Jen's house.

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_02]: They are like Mormon. They do not drink.

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: They they like they are more devout in that way.

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And people are just like have a flask out and about saying,

[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah, this is vodka time for a drink.

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_02]: We should all take a shot.

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think they were even trying to pressure Zach into drinking too.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So like I understand why he'd be uncomfortable with them

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_02]: after they were so disrespectful in their home.

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And Jen was upset about it, too. Mm hmm.

[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. And and I don't disagree.

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's messed up.

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I just feel like the whole energy is messy around it.

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all that I feel.

[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_02]: It's well, yeah.

[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And they get like the one of the big, big moments for them is

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_02]: so everyone goes to Vegas at the end of the season.

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. And this is when it all goes to hell.

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Layla, it just happened to be Layla's birthday as well.

[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, OK. I didn't know if it was for the birthday or not.

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So anyways, they. Go to Vegas.

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And so Taylor gets a drive to Vegas because she's so pregnant

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_02]: that she can't fly, which I'm like, girl, why are you going to Vegas?

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Like now maybe is not the time.

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_02]: But OK, they're fighting on the way.

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, and she and so Dakota comes to because he's like,

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: well, I don't want to not be in Vegas.

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And she has the baby. Right.

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're literally like screaming at each other in the car in the way there.

[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Zach. Drove, right, it was Zach and and Jen that were driving them.

[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And so Zach's also in Vegas and he's so excited to go to Vegas and gamble.

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, yeah, you have like a twenty five hundred dollar allowance

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_02]: or whatever. Don't lose it all.

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like maybe we stop enabling this.

[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But OK. And they go to Chippendales

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_02]: while they are in Vegas, which is like a VIP Chippendales.

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. It's like a pretty normal experience to have in Vegas.

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And the VIP is when you go backstage and they like

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_02]: rubbing oil on them or whatever.

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I do think the show isn't even that crazy.

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been to it.

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_03]: It's no thunder from down under.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, thunder from down under is like I would say the better show

[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_03]: as a connoisseur.

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I do think like it did.

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's the thing where we don't know if it's true or not,

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_02]: because it seems like all the women were really surprised

[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_02]: by going to the backstage at Chippendales or to Chippendales at all.

[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's also like, are they pretending to be surprised

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_02]: because they know they're on TV and they don't want to go?

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Right. You know, like it's like we don't know what's true.

[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_03]: We don't know what he says. It's a price trip.

[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_03]: But we know when Jesse's like, hmm, it's a price.

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know, you're going to like it.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_03]: But maybe your husband might not mind you.

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_03]: The two most problematic husbands are in Vegas with them.

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I think quickly said like,

[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: oh, like you can't go to the strippers or like,

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_02]: it's pretty hard to raise two babies alone if you go like she's been.

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_03]: She's been raising. And guess what?

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_03]: She's been raising three babies.

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_03]: You are one of the why, because she just gave you money.

[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_03]: More rat to literally get throw away to literally throw away your dollars.

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Be any for real.

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_03]: The chutzpah of these people.

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a it knows no bounds.

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_02]: The the audacity of these.

[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so they go.

[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And then. Jen tells Zach and he's like, you're dumb.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Why would you tell?

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_02]: But yes, I mean, I guess that like he would find out at some point anyways,

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_02]: but maybe she didn't have to tell him right then and there.

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Ask forgiveness, not.

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And so they get a big fight and he's like, I'm done, I'm done.

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_02]: He's I guess texting her like horrendous things all night long.

[00:49:32] [SPEAKER_02]: She also has a broken down the text message.

[00:49:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's really ridiculous.

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And so she leaves at two in the morning to go to him.

[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And so then she's like gone the whole next day and everyone's like,

[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_02]: uh, is is Jen OK?

[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, is she good?

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And then she gets back to like, it's no, it's so good.

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_02]: We really needed that.

[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Like we're on the same page now.

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything's fine.

[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like our friends are now alarmed because they've seen the type of stuff

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_02]: that Zach is saying to her, which is wild.

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep. It just it's ridiculous.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_03]: He is here's my theory.

[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_03]: He gambled away the money and needed to make a fight with her

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_03]: so that she doesn't get mad at him or his actions.

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_03]: It's like who gets mad first wins.

[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_02]: One also, like.

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're literally giving someone $2,500 to gamble with,

[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I also don't think it's super justified to then get mad when they lost it,

[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_02]: because obviously they're going to.

[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I agree.

[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I think whatever money you set aside for gambling is free money

[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_03]: that you're not going to get back.

[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Like that, that's that's how you have to look at the impossible otherwise.

[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's so funny because she just like goes at two in the morning.

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_03]: First of all, does she like were there at 2 a.m.?

[00:50:46] [SPEAKER_03]: That's crazy. She must.

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_03]: What are we doing, guys?

[00:50:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, none of what they're doing is good.

[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_03]: God. So she like goes to him, obviously,

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_03]: and you know he did not want to stay the night alone, too.

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I feel like that's another thing.

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_03]: God, yeah.

[00:51:05] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's ridiculous.

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And I also really believe that she's so young, right?

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_03]: She's only 24 and they got married young.

[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_03]: There is a weird power dynamic there, even though she's she has the money.

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_03]: There's still a weird power dynamic between them,

[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_03]: which is why I think this causes a lot of drama.

[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Well, and then it's also the thing where like there's the power dynamic

[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_02]: and then there's what's supposed to be the power dynamic.

[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And then her being the breadwinner doesn't align with the goal

[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_02]: of what their power dynamic would be.

[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's just like weird and messy.

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just wish the best for her

[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and hope that honestly she leaves him because he's horrible.

[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_02]: But the show ends with her being like, oh, yeah,

[00:51:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like stepping away from mom talk because Zach doesn't want me to be involved.

[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep. And they're going to move, which is crazy.

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_03]: OK. How is she going to make money for him?

[00:52:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they're moving to New York for him to go to med school, so

[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_03]: no way he's making that much.

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Again, she was bringing in money and I'm just sad.

[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just I'm really sad because her mom could have also used the money.

[00:52:20] [SPEAKER_03]: But no, this gambling addict has to use the money.

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And again, I just feel like there's a way he could just be like,

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I acknowledge that you're the breadwinner,

[00:52:34] [SPEAKER_03]: but I'm the head of the household, right?

[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Because of our culture and that's how things should be.

[00:52:39] [SPEAKER_03]: But no, no, no.

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. He just like just delulu type pro max.

[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_03]: That's him. And I just I can't.

[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Like really bothers me so much.

[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And to this she's like, oh, we've been in therapy nonstop since the show.

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_03]: You lie. You lie like a rug.

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually don't think he would be in therapy first and foremost.

[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they'll go to therapy for her to be like,

[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I need to figure out how to not be a sinner because the other storyline.

[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Again, if you're a Real Housewives of Atlanta fan,

[00:53:12] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, the talls and the smalls, here's the saints and the sinners.

[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So she is part of the Saints group.

[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And I feel that he's going to be like, well, you're straying away from the faith.

[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, oh, my marriage is great.

[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Perfect. Embarrassing and embarrassing.

[00:53:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Well, and especially even like the other girls are like,

[00:53:33] [SPEAKER_02]: well, we know what she's going to say.

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Like this is what always happens. So, yeah.

[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Oco. Correct.

[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And then the last thing for Saints and sinners is Macy

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_03]: does this thing online called Sinner Sunday where people send in confessions.

[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_03]: One of these confessions was about Taylor's boyfriend, Dakota,

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_03]: who Macy already don't like.

[00:53:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's a nice him and it makes me like Macy even more. Correct.

[00:54:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And Macy is like honest to his face.

[00:54:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Like it's not this like weird, passive aggressive two faced thing.

[00:54:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That's Macy.

[00:54:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Like these people are way too involved in each other's relationships, for sure.

[00:54:12] [SPEAKER_02]: But Macy will say to his face, like,

[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_02]: here's the things that you do that are similar to when I was in an abusive relationship.

[00:54:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not calling you abusive, but here's all the things you do

[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_02]: that are like similar. It's like.

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_02]: But if quack like a duck and walk like a duck, I think it's a duck.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And so this is the other thing to where like Taylor talks very much

[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_02]: about how when she first got together with Dakota,

[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_02]: he had like hooked up with someone and then had like met up with this other girl.

[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I think Jess, right, is her name.

[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's all about if Taylor finds out that he hooked up with Jess,

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_02]: he she will leave no problem, no questions asked because he lied

[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and she will leave like that. It's over.

[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, OK, OK, OK.

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And so this is where the confession comes in.

[00:55:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. So the confession says I accidentally slept with Dakota

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_03]: accidentally before before maybe they're soaking before I meet him.

[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And Taylor were together.

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I only met Taylor once and I'm terrified to tell her, but I know she was right.

[00:55:15] [SPEAKER_03]: She has a right to know how.

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And then this becomes like, you know, a whole thing for half the season.

[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Finally, Macy tells Taylor.

[00:55:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, and Macy's like, I don't know if I should tell her.

[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been sitting on it for two months.

[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And now it's like, well, I have to tell her before she has the baby.

[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like maybe you could have told her before she was literally

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_02]: eight and a half months. Correct.

[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And here's the thing.

[00:55:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like Dakota and I don't.

[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_03]: But I just feel like they're in a toxic relationship together.

[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know that it's fully fair to only drag him, if that makes sense.

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm not.

[00:55:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't have so much smoke for him because I don't like him as well.

[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_03]: I think he's weird.

[00:55:53] [SPEAKER_03]: That whole I think Taylor's family is a little bit also

[00:55:59] [SPEAKER_03]: a lot like pushing her to marry him when she's not sure about him.

[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_03]: First of all, why are we having kids with people we don't want to marry?

[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_03]: What in the can you I I really am in is going on.

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Understand being like, I'm not ready to be married,

[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_02]: but I am ready to tie myself to you forever with a baby

[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_02]: that we then have to raise.

[00:56:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And it very much is giving to me.

[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_02]: They were having problems and thought

[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_02]: we'll have a baby and it will fix the problems,

[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_02]: which is never advisable.

[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm hmm. Get a kitten.

[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep, it's just it's ridiculous, I'm telling you.

[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, it's just I

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I feel a lot of feels about it.

[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. And I just I feel sad for all the kids involved.

[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. When it with with all with a lot of these people,

[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_03]: but especially Taylor and Dakota, because they they come off,

[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_03]: like I said, whatever it may be for the show.

[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_03]: So I don't want to diagnose.

[00:57:02] [SPEAKER_03]: They just come off as a lot.

[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's extremely toxic to the point that they're

[00:57:10] [SPEAKER_02]: like they're fighting all the time and like to the point

[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_02]: where police have been called in the past

[00:57:15] [SPEAKER_02]: and there's been a conviction. Right.

[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So like they I they I don't think they should be together.

[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And I also feel really bad for Taylor because her mom is so mean

[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_02]: to her all the time.

[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, you realize that your child wouldn't end up this way

[00:57:29] [SPEAKER_02]: if you had like done differently as well.

[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I just think that when like someone's like mad at their kid

[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_02]: for how their kid is acting, they need to also take some accountability

[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_02]: for how they raise their child. Correct. Correct.

[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. That that's why it just was like that whole situation

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_03]: is stressful and no one is good.

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, I can't the only person that I feel like I'm on the side of

[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_03]: is that baby and all the kids in that situation.

[00:57:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, everyone else, all the adults and Taylor,

[00:57:58] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, that vortex fail.

[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_03]: All of you. That's how I feel.

[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And again, it's an edited show.

[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, take well, I'm taking that with a grain of salt.

[00:58:08] [SPEAKER_03]: But from what we've seen this too much

[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_03]: and we don't get anything right.

[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Like we know that Macy tells her and that's the end of it.

[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Except no, at the very end, Macy is calling this.

[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_02]: She gets on the phone calls Jess on the phone and she's like,

[00:58:28] [SPEAKER_02]: hey, like Jess, I mean, I like I want to know basically this is you.

[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it cuts off.

[00:58:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So we don't actually know what Jess said.

[00:58:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I have seen a tick tock of someone being like, my name's Jess.

[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I did date. Mm hmm.

[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so and so I'll tell you everything.

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see. We'll see what happens.

[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep. And what's crazy about this is that girl also is kind

[00:58:52] [SPEAKER_03]: like she made a lot of, um,

[00:58:57] [SPEAKER_03]: what's that girl, the name.

[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Who allegedly cheated with I forget her name.

[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, she's like come out and like made a few tick tocks, right?

[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_03]: There was one that was like, it's true.

[00:59:08] [SPEAKER_03]: The one you sent me that it's true.

[00:59:10] [SPEAKER_03]: It's very true.

[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Everything you say.

[00:59:13] [SPEAKER_03]: So with like a voiceover.

[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, we'll listen.

[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see what happens.

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see. We'll see what happens moving forward.

[00:59:19] [SPEAKER_03]: But Taylor as a kid with this guy, like what he like move on.

[00:59:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, yeah, we'll see.

[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just every my God, I just I feel sad.

[00:59:28] [SPEAKER_03]: It's scary. Um, yeah.

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And then we the final Whitney moment is her parting words are good luck

[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_03]: without me because she's leaving mom talk.

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, sure. Well, bye.

[00:59:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I came the one when you moment that I really liked

[00:59:45] [SPEAKER_02]: during this season is while everyone's in Vegas and all the drama is happening

[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and when he is somehow privy to all of this drama, even though it is

[00:59:53] [SPEAKER_02]: after she left the group chat.

[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know who told her whatever.

[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_02]: But when she is telling her husband about everything that's going on

[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_02]: and about how like she initially had FOMO about this trip

[01:00:03] [SPEAKER_02]: and now she's so glad she didn't go.

[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And Connor's like, why?

[01:00:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are they mad about them going to Chip and Dale?

[01:00:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Connor knows the drama.

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what it is.

[01:00:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.

[01:00:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Tells her yes.

[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Another thing I forgot about.

[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.

[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Connor, again, the biggest gossip, you know, is a man.

[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And Connor is instead of Drake,

[01:00:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Connor should be now the photo of that because he said,

[01:00:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I heard from this husband that this is happening.

[01:00:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, he he has the tea.

[01:00:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Connor, when can we get you on my segment?

[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and he had it was the accurate Tito.

[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_02]: What we saw as well.

[01:00:40] [SPEAKER_02]: So he had the info.

[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, thank you.

[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I couldn't remember how how she found out.

[01:00:44] [SPEAKER_02]: But when they're talking and it's just like.

[01:00:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I guess they're like really mad that they went to Chip and Dale's

[01:00:50] [SPEAKER_02]: both witty and Connor kind of like, I don't understand why that's such a big deal.

[01:00:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it's just like, yeah, I had Foma about this trip,

[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_02]: but I'm really glad I didn't call.

[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, bitch, you weren't invited.

[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm telling you, everything about her is delusional.

[01:01:07] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think if she just like owned being the villain,

[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_03]: that would have been fine.

[01:01:12] [SPEAKER_03]: But the fact that she plays the victim is why I can't get on the delulu

[01:01:17] [SPEAKER_03]: train, if I exactly.

[01:01:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And listen, if she's on season two and she finally is like owning up

[01:01:22] [SPEAKER_02]: to being like an anti mom talker or like against the others,

[01:01:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I could I could root for her.

[01:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I can root for a delusional villain.

[01:01:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But like just tell us that you're the villain.

[01:01:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't be like, no, but I'm baby.

[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_02]: They made me cry.

[01:01:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Like enough.

[01:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I am with you.

[01:01:42] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, is there anything else that we missed?

[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like we hit all the.

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure. Yeah.

[01:01:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure we missed stuff like apologies.

[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Listen, let's talk in the comments.

[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_03]: What what have we missed?

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_03]: What was your favorite parts of the show?

[01:01:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And we didn't talk about.

[01:01:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my God, what is that part?

[01:02:00] [SPEAKER_03]: That girl's name, not me forgetting which one.

[01:02:04] [SPEAKER_03]: The one that has the unfortunate skin conditions like that's part of her.

[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and I can't even tell you which one.

[01:02:12] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, it is Michaela.

[01:02:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, her name is Michaela, I believe.

[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And the only thing I want to say is like Michaela was 16

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_03]: and her husband was 21.

[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. OK.

[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_02]: No, this is and she got pregnant as a teen and then got married.

[01:02:27] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like it's very sad.

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm hmm. So that's just like we don't get a lot from Michaela,

[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_03]: unfortunately, but I just it's weird.

[01:02:40] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, it's weird.

[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like it.

[01:02:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It's making me uncomfy for what these like young women have to go through.

[01:02:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And just the type of behavior that is super normalized in the community.

[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Correct.

[01:02:56] [SPEAKER_03]: So, again, it is what it is not here to judge.

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It just we're bringing you the facts.

[01:03:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Who is just it's very unfortunate.

[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, that like again, there's more to her as a person.

[01:03:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure I just that's what we know about her.

[01:03:15] [SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, great.

[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_03]: I just you know, Demi and Jess,

[01:03:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Jesse, let's let's get on mess magnets and just talk.

[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it.

[01:03:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's have a conversation.

[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, I did also just want to like briefly touch on the VMAs

[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_02]: because they did happen this week.

[01:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like, you know, as we get into award season,

[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_02]: we kind of have to talk about it a little bit.

[01:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: But I don't want to get too heavy into all of the lore

[01:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: because we did just talk about Mormon wives for an hour.

[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but basically some of the big awards that went out,

[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: we could just do a quick so chapel row and won a best new artist,

[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_02]: which is very exciting.

[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_02]: She also performed Good Luck Babe Live and people are calling it

[01:04:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Rona of Arc because she was in chain mail

[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_02]: and she like shot the arrow fire at the castle.

[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It was really cool.

[01:04:08] [SPEAKER_02]: So congrats to her.

[01:04:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So best video and song of the summer went to Fortnight by Taylor Swift.

[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sorry. In whose home?

[01:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I guess the music video is fine.

[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: If people want to be excited about the music video.

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And who's home was for the song of the summer?

[01:04:24] [SPEAKER_02]: The song of the summer was espresso period.

[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.

[01:04:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Lizzy, I didn't even want it and it was there.

[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And who was home was for the summer?

[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I like Tortured Poets Department as an album.

[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: There's songs I like.

[01:04:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine. But.

[01:04:43] [SPEAKER_02]: No, like not song of the summer.

[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Come on.

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, Taylor Swift also won best artist, whatever the one that I'm sure.

[01:04:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I'm talking about.

[01:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for like

[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: this is like a lifetime achievement award.

[01:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Went to Katy Perry.

[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_03]: After Katy Perry went on that little tour,

[01:05:05] [SPEAKER_03]: talking about just do the dishes and talk to a time.

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I've like enough like that's I think it's ridiculous

[01:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: that she won the video.

[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_02]: There's definitely people that would be more

[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_02]: well, you know, deserving whatever her performance was like fine.

[01:05:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Who cares?

[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But here's OK, this is the drama from the VMAs that made me laugh so hard.

[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_02]: So. They had a literal like

[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Taylor cam as if it's the NFL.

[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, correct.

[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Which I can. Yeah.

[01:05:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And honestly enough, like.

[01:05:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Stop and that's I also saw some blind items that like

[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: that's why she kept like disappearing was because she didn't know

[01:05:46] [SPEAKER_02]: that she was going to be on camera the whole night

[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and she wanted to drink without being seen.

[01:05:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So she was like leaving to go drink out of sight.

[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But so while Katy Perry is performing her medley,

[01:05:56] [SPEAKER_02]: there's footage of Jack Antonoff who is sitting with Taylor.

[01:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So I was putting in like.

[01:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[01:06:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Earplugs like noise canceling earplugs, we don't really know.

[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And people like, wow, that's so shady that he would do that.

[01:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: But no, like it's actually if you're going on concert,

[01:06:16] [SPEAKER_02]: you should put in earplugs to hear like it's that.

[01:06:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That's actually the correct thing to do here.

[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone you can still hear because noise can are loud.

[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, they're loud.

[01:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: If it was like a little thing, yeah, that would be rude.

[01:06:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's like no, concerts are literally loud.

[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_02]: He could hear calm down.

[01:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But what was funny is he did like a thread on Twitter of like apologizing,

[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: which made me laugh. Did you see this, Sasha? No. OK, perfect.

[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait. I'm going to read it to you.

[01:06:44] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's four tweets. OK.

[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And the first one is I would like to tell you directly for me

[01:06:50] [SPEAKER_02]: that I did in fact use earplugs the other night.

[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_02]: They were blue heroes brand.

[01:06:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm mortified to admit that I've been using them for a long time

[01:06:57] [SPEAKER_02]: as well as buying them in bulk.

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I would also like to be honest and get ahead of the fact

[01:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: that I do not only use them when in 100 plus

[01:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: DB environments, it is humiliating to admit

[01:07:09] [SPEAKER_02]: that I use them on planes and every night while asleep.

[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: There is nothing left to do but apologize and thank those who have covered

[01:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: this story, because although it's an embarrassment to my family and I,

[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I do believe that this is very important and pressing issue

[01:07:20] [SPEAKER_02]: that needed to be exposed.

[01:07:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry to those I let down and today I will not be going to work

[01:07:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and instead thinking about my earplug use and everyone has been affected by it.

[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_02]: The band and I have decided to keep all dates as scheduled.

[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what? This is how you deal with it.

[01:07:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I love it. I love stupid.

[01:07:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are stands writing a dissertation on how it's rude

[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_02]: that Jack Anjana off the headphones like earplugs and he can hear.

[01:07:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine. Agreed.

[01:07:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, come on. Yeah, this is what I mean.

[01:07:51] [SPEAKER_03]: What I miss when VMA had ridiculous moments because this is what we're talking about.

[01:07:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's and also like I think Katy Perry

[01:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: performing roar in like 2013 one like iconic VMA performance.

[01:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was literally up against like the Bernie Madonna.

[01:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's just so one serious now.

[01:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: The VMAs used to matter.

[01:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I like to win some.

[01:08:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I watched clips. I didn't even watch the whole thing.

[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Meg killed it.

[01:08:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Her looks were so funny when she did the Britney

[01:08:24] [SPEAKER_03]: with this snake and she couldn't.

[01:08:28] [SPEAKER_03]: She couldn't handle the snake.

[01:08:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I just love her so much.

[01:08:32] [SPEAKER_03]: So I thought that was funny.

[01:08:34] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, it's just Beyonce didn't win much or did she win anything?

[01:08:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I know words I am.

[01:08:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't even. I see you.

[01:08:46] [SPEAKER_03]: You're trash. OK.

[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I just I miss on the VMAs.

[01:08:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I feel like the VMAs was where like that year's pop culture

[01:08:57] [SPEAKER_03]: history would get like, you know, stamped.

[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Right. Like, yeah.

[01:09:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Like Christina Aguilera giving Eminem's.

[01:09:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that was at the MTV Music Awards.

[01:09:05] [SPEAKER_01]: That was. Oh, no, that was that was VMA.

[01:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That was VMAs.

[01:09:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Yeah.

[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: VMAs are the MTV musical awards.

[01:09:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, the brain.

[01:09:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Are you OK?

[01:09:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Literally, I was like, listen, it's been a long week.

[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's been a rain dry, rain dry.

[01:09:22] [SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, yeah, Christina Aguilera right at the top of her

[01:09:25] [SPEAKER_03]: and Eminem's beef having to give him the an award.

[01:09:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I wild.

[01:09:32] [SPEAKER_03]: But the wild is more messy.

[01:09:33] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I'll say.

[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Yeah.

[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Like Connie stepping up while Taylor's accepting her award.

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they're like the VMAs used to be.

[01:09:45] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.

[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And like, I remember watching that live and being like.

[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't even a Swifty then I was watching his panic.

[01:09:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I did. Yeah, I mean, I can't believe Texas hold him

[01:09:57] [SPEAKER_03]: last song of the year. Sad.

[01:10:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Espresso got song of the year.

[01:10:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It should have gotten song of the summer.

[01:10:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And then like best song could have been.

[01:10:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, that's all about the VMAs and the Emmys are coming up this weekend.

[01:10:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So maybe there'll be some mess for next week.

[01:10:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we can't wait.

[01:10:18] [SPEAKER_02]: We will see. Are you ready for an anonymous?

[01:10:21] [SPEAKER_03]: So let's do it.

[01:10:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and for folks that don't know every week.

[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. When even if we're not on video, like I said, we're not audio here.

[01:10:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we host listener submitted mass.

[01:10:35] [SPEAKER_03]: And it is so fun because you all submit your drama to us.

[01:10:41] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, it's the best thing.

[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_03]: We love our messengers.

[01:10:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And if you remember something, make sure it's in the description.

[01:10:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Just send us your mess.

[01:10:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's tiny URL dot com slash mass magnets.

[01:10:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Please submit your mess.

[01:10:55] [SPEAKER_02]: We always are looking for more.

[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But anyways, without further ado, here's this week.

[01:10:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Also, sorry. Sorry. Before we go to anonymous, I'm so sorry.

[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I forgot Shannon Sharp. Wow, boy.

[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah. I here's the thing.

[01:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: My personal theory on that is that he actually was not intending to go live,

[01:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: but was maybe intending to take a video without permission

[01:11:17] [SPEAKER_02]: and accidentally went live instead of taking the video.

[01:11:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That's my theory.

[01:11:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I actually have a more sinister theory because I listened to his podcast

[01:11:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Nightcap and he,

[01:11:30] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, first his team was like, Oh, we've been hacked.

[01:11:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that was you that those grunts them.

[01:11:36] [SPEAKER_03]: No, it was him.

[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It was you. So I like how do people grunt in an accent?

[01:11:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. But he did it.

[01:11:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And anyway, the thing is,

[01:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you know, but there were rumors which is

[01:11:50] [SPEAKER_03]: this whole thing is gross.

[01:11:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to start with that.

[01:11:53] [SPEAKER_03]: But there were rumors about him being gay, I guess.

[01:11:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And and it felt like this was a on purpose

[01:12:04] [SPEAKER_03]: to dispel the rumors because I'm on the podcast.

[01:12:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I believe I'll just think of says this.

[01:12:12] [SPEAKER_03]: He's like, Well, I'm glad it was a Michelle and not a Michael.

[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So and they like immediately went live

[01:12:19] [SPEAKER_03]: on purpose that night to talk about it again.

[01:12:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Nightcap is a thing that happens all the time.

[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I know. All I'm saying is it just says weird homophobia

[01:12:31] [SPEAKER_03]: slash him just being allegedly bad at technology.

[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it's very messy.

[01:12:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And we just need to be aware when celebrities,

[01:12:42] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, do celebrity things and we just, you know, leave it as,

[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_03]: oh, it's funny.

[01:12:47] [SPEAKER_03]: PR teams be working. That's all.

[01:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, so I just we might or might not hear anything else about that.

[01:12:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Well, they're doing a roast of Shannon Sharp again.

[01:12:58] [SPEAKER_02]: How is that come up?

[01:13:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's very interesting.

[01:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, let's get into anonymous now.

[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So our messenger is a mom of three young kids

[01:13:10] [SPEAKER_02]: and her husband is disabled, so she has a lot of stress on her plate.

[01:13:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So feeling for a messenger here.

[01:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And so since the start of this year,

[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: she has started to going to the local karaoke bar

[01:13:23] [SPEAKER_02]: that she used to go to in her early and mid 20s to blow off some steam

[01:13:26] [SPEAKER_02]: and remember that she's an adult.

[01:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: She can go solo.

[01:13:30] [SPEAKER_02]: She only goes solo and she can't plan ahead as she can only go

[01:13:33] [SPEAKER_02]: when the kids bedtime and her husband's like feeling OK

[01:13:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and her energy levels line up perfectly right.

[01:13:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like when everything when the stars align,

[01:13:41] [SPEAKER_02]: she goes to the karaoke bar by herself.

[01:13:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. The most recent time was about a month ago

[01:13:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and she went on a Friday night after all the kids were asleep

[01:13:48] [SPEAKER_02]: and she felt like she deserved to just go belt out a song or two

[01:13:50] [SPEAKER_02]: to a dark room of strangers. I love going to karaoke.

[01:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm I love this free messenger.

[01:13:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So our messenger walks into the bar and chooses to sit

[01:13:59] [SPEAKER_02]: at the corner of the bar because it's the quote

[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: safest place to sit as a solo woman who doesn't like

[01:14:05] [SPEAKER_02]: really know how to interact with groups of people at the bar scene.

[01:14:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Fair. Our messenger orders the Shirley Temple

[01:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: to chill in her own bubble at the bar.

[01:14:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So she's sitting between two older guys.

[01:14:16] [SPEAKER_02]: The guy to the left is about 25 plus years older than her.

[01:14:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And the guy to the right is about like 35 plus years older.

[01:14:25] [SPEAKER_02]: The 25 plus year guy to the left introduces himself as John

[01:14:29] [SPEAKER_02]: and asks, like, Oh, did you come in like a month ago?

[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I guess he remembers her from coming in alone.

[01:14:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And he says, Oh, I'm a retired electrician.

[01:14:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Our messenger shares that she's a math teacher.

[01:14:39] [SPEAKER_02]: She very quickly gets the vibe that he is interested romantically

[01:14:44] [SPEAKER_02]: because John's sharing about all the different schools

[01:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: he's worked in, how teachers appreciate his work,

[01:14:50] [SPEAKER_02]: like brings up all these other like topics that you bring up

[01:14:53] [SPEAKER_02]: when you're trying to create a connection.

[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And there was but there was nothing like clearly flirtatious.

[01:14:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So she's like, OK, it's fine.

[01:14:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I can talk to him, but like nothing inappropriate happening.

[01:15:03] [SPEAKER_02]: OK. So John's name is called The Sing It Karaoke

[01:15:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and he is singing the song Shiver by Ed Sheeran.

[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Our messenger cheers her like she does for everyone else,

[01:15:15] [SPEAKER_02]: turns back to her drink. Yes.

[01:15:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And then at the pre-chorus, she hears him louder than before

[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: suddenly, and he is now off the stage, standing three inches

[01:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: away from our messenger and singing the following lyrics directly to her.

[01:15:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to be that guy.

[01:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to kiss your eyes.

[01:15:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to drink that smile.

[01:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to feel like I'm like my soul's on fire.

[01:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to stay up all day and all night.

[01:15:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you got me singing like.

[01:15:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I little you can't even leave.

[01:15:43] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't leave.

[01:15:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, maybe I'm free.

[01:15:46] [SPEAKER_02]: You're frozen in that situation.

[01:15:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So by like the fifth word, she like at first

[01:15:51] [SPEAKER_02]: she was like kind of laughing uncomfortably.

[01:15:53] [SPEAKER_02]: This way, she just like turns around

[01:15:54] [SPEAKER_02]: and is sitting straight forward at the bar, like in shock.

[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_02]: The female bartender is in front of her and like never really made

[01:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: direct eye contact.

[01:16:03] [SPEAKER_02]: You could see her like grimacing before she recovers her poker face

[01:16:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and just looks away. Yeah.

[01:16:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And so by the time that pre chorus part is over,

[01:16:12] [SPEAKER_02]: John finally got the message and like moved away

[01:16:14] [SPEAKER_02]: and stopped singing directly to her.

[01:16:16] [SPEAKER_02]: But our message like could not stop just like staring at the TV.

[01:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And so she could not tell you where he even went to because she was like

[01:16:22] [SPEAKER_02]: so shocked and yet like weirded out.

[01:16:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And so she's dreading the song ending because she doesn't want to sit

[01:16:29] [SPEAKER_02]: next to him anymore.

[01:16:30] [SPEAKER_02]: It was so weird and uncomfortable.

[01:16:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God. Why? Why?

[01:16:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. John, get your life together.

[01:16:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Literally, John, like enough.

[01:16:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Thankfully, the karaoke gods smiled down on her as the next.

[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It was her time, her song.

[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And so she's saying Love Me Dead by Ludo next.

[01:16:49] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, yes. Yes. And OK, get it, Queen.

[01:16:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And so by the time it was over,

[01:16:53] [SPEAKER_02]: she went back to her spot to be with her drink.

[01:16:55] [SPEAKER_02]: John made a comment or two about other people's song faces are interesting

[01:16:58] [SPEAKER_02]: because you can get exposed to music you don't normally listening to.

[01:17:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And then thankfully, the even older guys sitting to her right strikes up

[01:17:04] [SPEAKER_02]: conversation with her about his great grandkids.

[01:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to that guy. Shout out to him.

[01:17:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So she leaves the bar to go to her car and get her jacket

[01:17:13] [SPEAKER_02]: because she had one more song.

[01:17:15] [SPEAKER_02]: But before she left, she asked the bartender to watch her drink

[01:17:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and she put it behind the bar with a napkin over it.

[01:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: When she came back to the bar,

[01:17:23] [SPEAKER_02]: she just pulled on her phone to do wordle and John left shortly afterwards.

[01:17:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So this was our messenger's most awkward night out

[01:17:28] [SPEAKER_02]: that she's had since having kids.

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But on the plus side, she did an impromptu duet

[01:17:32] [SPEAKER_02]: of Defying Gravity with a former coworker, which was amazing.

[01:17:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Love that. The thing is she's stronger than me.

[01:17:40] [SPEAKER_03]: She's I would have I would have literally ran away.

[01:17:43] [SPEAKER_03]: There's no way in hell.

[01:17:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And the thing is, I the drinks, you know what I mean?

[01:17:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I just I wouldn't trust that this man ain't doing something to my alcohol.

[01:17:54] [SPEAKER_03]: All right. No, I will. It's surely temple.

[01:17:56] [SPEAKER_03]: But to my drink, I don't I don't know.

[01:17:58] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't trust that person. That's wild.

[01:18:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Like this is God's strongest soldier right here.

[01:18:06] [SPEAKER_02]: What the hell? Literally, can you imagine?

[01:18:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I can't even imagine like even if it was someone that I like really

[01:18:14] [SPEAKER_02]: like liked and was interested in someone singing karaoke at me

[01:18:17] [SPEAKER_02]: like that would make me deeply uncomfortable.

[01:18:18] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know how she made it through. But good for her.

[01:18:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I think my husband maybe now, right?

[01:18:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Like but if we were first dating, like I'm saying,

[01:18:26] [SPEAKER_03]: even if we were boyfriend, girlfriend and he's singing like that to me,

[01:18:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I get so embarrassed.

[01:18:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. Yeah, I get very embarrassed in public.

[01:18:34] [SPEAKER_03]: So no, don't do it to me.

[01:18:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. So that's it.

[01:18:41] [SPEAKER_02]: That is our.

[01:18:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And not a mess here.

[01:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to our messenger. Thank you for sharing.

[01:18:46] [SPEAKER_02]: If anyone else, if this brought up memories of like an embarrassing story

[01:18:50] [SPEAKER_02]: or an awkward moment or just any like bar night drama,

[01:18:54] [SPEAKER_02]: please send it to us again. Tiny URL dot com slash mess magnets

[01:18:57] [SPEAKER_02]: is the place to submit it. We need mass. We love mass.

[01:19:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It would be great.

[01:19:02] [SPEAKER_02]: The other thing you can do if you like this episode is you can go to your podcast

[01:19:07] [SPEAKER_02]: listener of choice and leave us a five star rating and review.

[01:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It really makes our day when we can see that people are enjoying

[01:19:16] [SPEAKER_02]: the episodes and it helps new people to find the show so that we can keep

[01:19:19] [SPEAKER_02]: making it. And Rob doesn't cancel us.

[01:19:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We did get two five star reviews this this time,

[01:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: which they actually I think came in before we recorded last time,

[01:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: but they didn't show up for me on Charter Bowl

[01:19:32] [SPEAKER_02]: because I can't see American ones before.

[01:19:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, Huckleberry Paradise gave five stars and says,

[01:19:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I gave a five star review with five star emojis. Thank you.

[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And then shrinking by like eight five stars with the that says,

[01:19:45] [SPEAKER_02]: You make me laugh so hard. Five stars.

[01:19:47] [SPEAKER_02]: They say very enjoyable and funny. I am not in your demographic.

[01:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm 65. But even though sometimes I don't know who you are talking about,

[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_02]: it just doesn't matter because your back and forth banter about them is hysterical.

[01:19:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Guest hosts are great, but cannot match the chemistry of you two together.

[01:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: You bring out the fun side in each other. Keep it going.

[01:20:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you. Thank you.

[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Shrinking Violet one, two, three. We appreciate it.

[01:20:07] [SPEAKER_02]: 65 is in our demographic.

[01:20:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, you are a girly.

[01:20:12] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all that matters. And anyone can be a girly.

[01:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, it's not everyone is.

[01:20:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone is in our demographic as long as you are interested in mess. Mm hmm.

[01:20:22] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I'm saying. That's our thing.

[01:20:25] [SPEAKER_03]: We love it. So we are excited.

[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And with that, thank you, everyone, for listening again.

[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Tell us in the comments, what is your favorite thing about Secret Lives

[01:20:35] [SPEAKER_03]: and Mormon wives? I'm sure we missed stuff.

[01:20:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, listen, here we are. All right.

[01:20:39] [SPEAKER_02]: We're trying to hit the highlights. It's one podcast.

[01:20:42] [SPEAKER_02]: We can't hit every single thing that happened. We just can't.

[01:20:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. And we hope you enjoy it.

[01:20:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Leave us a like here as well.

[01:20:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And with that, thank you, everyone, for listening.

[01:20:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Kirsten, where can the people find you?

[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. So I mean, the only other thing I'm going on this week,

[01:20:59] [SPEAKER_02]: the people will find both of us.

[01:21:01] [SPEAKER_02]: If you are a patron of Rob has a podcast,

[01:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Sasha and I will be guests on the slop this week,

[01:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: this week with Robin Chappelle.

[01:21:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I think pretty low chances of that one getting released to the public

[01:21:17] [SPEAKER_02]: because we don't know how to act.

[01:21:19] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's behind the paywall as it should be.

[01:21:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And you are not going to want to miss that.

[01:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: You can also follow me everywhere at Kirsten said what,

[01:21:39] [SPEAKER_03]: YouTube channel, Chappelle and I are wrapping up our coverage of below deck

[01:22:00] [SPEAKER_03]: reality TV stars about their favorite scripted shows.

[01:22:04] [SPEAKER_03]: So this week we had Danny Butler from The Amazing Race

[01:22:08] [SPEAKER_03]: to talk about his TV journey and his life.

[01:22:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And where does he go?

[01:22:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And here's a thing, Kirsten.

[01:22:17] [SPEAKER_03]: He drops a bomb at the last minute that he watches Riverdale.

[01:22:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Oh, oh, oh.

[01:22:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And we were like, wait, it's already our and we're wrapping up.

[01:22:26] [SPEAKER_03]: What the hell? So we're excited.
