[00:00:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm Tori

[00:00:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is Mess Magnets! We're back baby!

[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_01]: You may have noticed that that was not Sasha at the start of this podcast. Like eagle-eared listeners know that that was not Sasha.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Sasha was not feeling well this week and then had to log off for another one of the Jewish holidays so she was not available and we thought Mess Magnets, the show must go on, podcasts must get released.

[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So thank goodness for Tori who was able to step in last minute so that we could have a podcast this week.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously the real ones know because I was saying just before this Tori is like the most frequent guest on the podcast I think.

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But can you tell the listeners where like about your podcast just right up top before we get into it?

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Totally. Also I hope Sasha Sasha is feeling better because fuck that that sucks.

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Also the flat Canadian A fucks me up so much when I start saying Sasha.

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry for a leave but it's just the Canadian accent is a...

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's difficult. It's really like I literally have to think about it every time.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_00]: No literally because it's like it's pasta, it's ant, it's latte, like it just is but I hope you're feeling better.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Wait, it's latte?

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you say latte?

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm American.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Do I say it like you or do I say it American?

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you say it American.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, that's crazy.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_00]: That's wild.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so wild.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But man oh man yes I am hosting two podcasts.

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_00]: One is over on Patreon ready to be petty.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_00]: This week I did a Hot Ones episode.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It was my 100th episode.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So a friend of the pod cam from what I will say and I answered listener submitted questions as we ate hot wings and it was really, really fun.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I need to, I need to go watch that because I, yeah, I'll send it to you.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just, that's gonna be everything for me personally.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I already, I already know.

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so funny and then like we can truly get into the topics because no one cares about this but.

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so the first day we're like, we're like submit a submit anonymous questions.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Ask us anything you want.

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_00]: This is hot ones like ask the most intimate personal questions that you can think of.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And the first day we got ones it was like, and like shout out to the petty bettys.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, what's your favorite book?

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I will answer that any day of the week.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: But, um, and then I was like turn up the, turn up the heat and then they, they pulled through.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Truly.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Those petty betties, they're real ones.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And then you also have your romance novel review podcast ready to be romanced, which.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like the, the messengers like romance novels were romance romance novel girlies.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So definitely go check try out over there.

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like you should come back on this fall slash winter.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We can do another, another good rom-com, but yeah, we're reading over ready to be romance

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and talk, talking shit.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Love it.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Love that so much.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we did also get a new five-star rating, uh, from a honey badger with a bunch of numbers

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: behind it says great escape.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: My toddler has been living at a children's hospital 45 minutes away for the past 20 months

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: as she waits for a heart transplant.

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Mess magnets has been such a great escape for me on those long emotional drives home.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for being so dang hilarious and allowing me an hour to forget the craziness

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: that our life is right now.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Girls are the best.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you're the best.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Honey badger.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So sorry to hear that your family's been going through all of that.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And hopefully, um, that comes to a resolution really soon.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: You can have your baby home.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That's so horrible.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But thank you for the review.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, truly.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I hope that the transplant comes quick and everything goes smoothly.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And listen, people undergoing like the worst circumstances are making time to leave

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: a five-star review.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of you haven't with your excuse.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, just being an absolute monster.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: No, but truly, truly, truly.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm even like, okay, what have I not been making time for that I probably could?

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's a moment of reflection over here.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yes, we've got some mess to get into.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_01]: To today.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I don't know why I've lost the ability to speak, uh, but it's fine.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get into it.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The first story in this, I'm so excited.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited that Tori can be here for this because I know that I'm not really a one-directioner.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And I know, I don't think Sasha is either.

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_01]: So honestly, it would have been like stolen valor if we were talking about this, but like

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_01]: everything online right now, at least on my algorithm is about one direction, Liam Payne,

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_01]: all of this stuff.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So we have to talk about it.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I love being a directioner.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's also just interesting because we are in our early thirties and like now

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: we're seeing boy bands and other musical acts and stuff like that, that were really popular

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: when we grew up and then have kind of like either, you know, faded into oblivion.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they're not working as much.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like my sister would say this.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they're hosting reality TV shows.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And like my sister would have said that as my older sister about like maybe backstreet boys

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: or new kids on the block or whatever.

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like we get to watch the boy bands of our time and what they choose to do in their

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: like, you know, 10 year decade long career.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And okay.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Before any of this came up, I was seeing so many tech talks about how like younger people don't know that Harry Styles came from one direction.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And truly, I've never felt so old in my life.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Because even like when I was a literal child, I knew that Justin Timberlake came from, you know,

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_00]: No, literally open the schools.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So I just don't understand how people didn't know that about Harry Styles.

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It made me feel super old because like, what, were they not born yet?

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_01]: These people that didn't know.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand how else it could be possible.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00]: They're fake fans because it's like, I'm pretty sure his love on tour.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Like he toured for literally two years and I'm pretty sure he did some like 1D songs.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And they probably thought they were covers.

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_01]: They were like, Oh, what's this cover?

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never heard this song before.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: That's that's insane to me.

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what makes you beautiful.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I love that.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to add it to my playlist.

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I hate that.

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I hate that.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's also been fun to learn like what, like who of one direction is still in touch with each other.

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like we're getting a lot of that as a recent.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So absolutely.

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_01]: We have talked about Liam Payne on this podcast before when he did his like, unhinged podcast.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember what podcast it was at Aaron Paul.

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_00]: It was, um, yeah, it was impulsive with Logan Paul.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the worst name for a podcast.

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe, maybe the older one, Jake.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Jake.

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I was, who's Aaron Paul?

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who that is that I made up in my head, but one of the Paul brothers, that's the secret bonus Paul brother.

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, just like how there's the bonus Jonas.

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_01]: It's an actor.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a famous actor, like a very legitimately famous person.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that I just, they're the first person I think of with the last name Paul.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry that I have higher brow taste than other people.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, but yeah, so Liam Payne did that podcast and it was truly unhinged.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm, I'm pretty sure Sasha and I both actually listened to it too, because it was hard to get a summary of that podcast.

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: So we had to write it ourselves.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So we, anyways, we've talked about him before, but now he's back in the news for a different reason because he and his, a long time girlfriend.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Did they just break up or did they get back together?

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even understand his ex girlfriend.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: His ex girlfriend, because he just went with his current girlfriend to now who runs a performance in, I believe like when a side is like, so like he traveled to go to that concert.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, this is an ex girlfriend spilling the team.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, Liam was at that concert, like hanging over the barrier, trying to get attention for himself.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It was pretty embarrassing.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so embarrassing.

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_00]: He was like kind of like, he was like trying to stir up kind of the crowd, like looking at him and stuff like that.

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so desperate.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so cringy.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And, um, like him kind of, I'm assuming that they're all friends.

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Like there is like in terms of like, or like they, they have the type of relationship where it's like, we did something insane for a few years.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: We have memories.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll like, no one will get this.

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's like a survivor cast or whatever.

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and, but like, so they have, they all I'm sure are in contact with each other in some way, but.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_00]: This public display of like, we're still friends.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm still relevant is so embarrassing.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and especially for it to be Liam at Niles concert.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause it's like.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Niles is like no events, like still really be list.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Like exactly.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Like to me, if you're not.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Zane or Harry, you're kind of no one.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_00]: One hundred percent.

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And I like, that sounds mean.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, obviously they're all famous are all super talented, but like.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: No, the Niles are coming for us.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the who?

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Niles.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Niles.

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And, and that's fine.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, and I'm so happy for them that they get to enjoy his music, but.

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I know one song that he's ever released.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And like.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_01]: If it, listen, if Niles had been the one to leave one direction.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the band could have still been going.

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all I'm going to say.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_01]: 100%.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all I'm going to say.

[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And on that note, honestly, stream heaven.

[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like a really good Niles song.

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's the.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think the only one I know.

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think the only one that's kind of cracked like the charts, but.

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll make a note to give it a listen.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I've heard it and I just didn't realize it.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Probably.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: That like was the start of it.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And then.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Maya Henry.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Liam's ex.

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Makes a tick tock.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, breaking down just like how weird Liam is saying that he views.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: He preys on one direction fans because they'll always be loyal to him and

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_01]: they'll never tell on him.

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, saying that he like.

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Messages and has kind of weirdly close relationships with fans of one

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: direction.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and following the video, like a lot of people have come forward to share

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_01]: their stories.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that he.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Was being weird to them.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: In DMS.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: One hundred percent.

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I like obviously like we believe them and then that's really shitty and gross.

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, also it's like.

[00:12:40] Yeah.

[00:12:41] I feel like.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: He is the poster child for like treats women disrespectfully and abuses.

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, their star power.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you could tell that vibe from the.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Podcast that he did last year.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: The impulsive.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_00]: He hangs out with the Paul brothers.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: He was like.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Drinking a few brewskis.

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Just like really letting her rap with the Paul brothers.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Like.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Adds up to me.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like if you.

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_01]: If you look at it like the other members of the band.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they'll.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_01]: You know.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Do some of the songs during their tours.

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But they don't really like talk about what it was like back in the day.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they kind of just like have moved on.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Like.

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And are doing their own thing.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But Liam is like.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like constantly talking about.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_01]: One direction.

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The other members of one direction.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And being a dick.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_00]: There's this viral.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: To talk of him.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Where.

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like Harry.

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: From like.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: His like frat boy era.

[00:13:51] Like.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_00]: He's like.

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Kind of almost honestly like.

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Pre frat boy era.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Where he's wearing like.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: He would.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: He had the hair.

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But he was still wearing like prep school clothes.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's him answering their FaceTime call.

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And Liam.

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Made like a TikTok about it.

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Pretending that Harry was FaceTiming him.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: That's so embarrassing.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's literally.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's so embarrassing.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Take it back.

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Like.

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It's tragic.

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It's really tragic.

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I really can't.

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_01]: One of the stories that he shared.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Was about.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_01]: One member of the band.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Threw.

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Liam up against the wall.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_01]: During an argument.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you wouldn't say who.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But now.

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: My.

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: She exposed that it was.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Zane.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I just have to imagine that if Zane did that.

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_01]: He.

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Had a good reason for it.

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_00]: He.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: That.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Liam has one of those faces that.

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to do that to him.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: One hundred percent.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's.

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Wild.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I could see that.

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: For sure.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: With that band.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Well.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_00]: If anyone watched the idea of you.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: They get in a really big argument too.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You know.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Based on one D.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's based on one D.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Fan fiction.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: How would the person writing the fan fiction.

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Know about real fights behind the scenes.

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: From one direction.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Because.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_00]: There was so much access to that band.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: There's that video of.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I think.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: It.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's Zane and Liam fighting on stage.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: They like.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Kind of.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Play it off.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Like it was.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Play fighting.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But it was like.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: For reals fighting.

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like they all had.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Very.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Very.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I think they all thought.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: That they were the founding members.

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause that was another thing.

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_00]: That Liam said.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I was the founding member.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I think they all thought that.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And probably Simon Cowell.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Etc.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Made them think that.

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that they all have different music tastes.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Like you can see how.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Niles.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_00]: On kind of like acoustic.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Harry went like.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Very like.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Rock.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And then very pop.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Zane is more like R&B.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It makes sense.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like.

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Creatively.

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It does.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It does make sense.

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: In the middle of all of this going on.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_01]: A news article came out about.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Well I get.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well Liam did like an Instagram live.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it became a news article.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Because let's face it.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I was never going to see his Instagram live.

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Just like talking about how hard it is to co-parent his child.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Fair.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And like.

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_01]: He's basically like complaining that.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He.

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Has to like.

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Make sure he's COVID negative before he sees his son.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Complaining about that.

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And how well his kid only lives up the street.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: But he never gets to see him.

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like.

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_01]: If that's your concern.

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You should like take some more precautions.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_01]: To ensure that you're not exposing yourself to COVID.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So you could see your child.

[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_00]: One hundred percent.

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_00]: He had.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Bear like.

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty young.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I think him and Cheryl broke up.

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Six years ago.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm hmm.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's like a.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty standard precaution.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I.

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Like if.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Like if that's the rule.

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That's.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That's just what I'm thinking.

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He has also.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Allegedly.

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Postponed.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_01]: His.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Second.

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Solo album.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Which I don't even know when this was supposed to come out.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_01]: But I guess.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It came out in March.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Like literally never heard of it.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Is anybody waiting on pins and needles for this?

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even know there was a single.

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: To even try to seek out.

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And like typically Spotify gives me pop music.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: When it comes out.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Me too.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Like every single new release.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Not.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Teardrops by Liam Payne.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh rough.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Never.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Literally never heard of it.

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And I am a directioner.

[00:18:07] Like.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Did Liam Payne get the like.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yasification surgery.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_01]: On his jaw.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: He.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I think he got the.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Buccal fat removal.

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And then the TMJ.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Botox.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Botox.

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And then like maybe a jaw implant.

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Like a chin implant maybe.

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Or like a little bit of.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Not to like comment on people's looks.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I just saw a picture of him.

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like that is not the same man I saw.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_01]: The impulsive podcast.

[00:18:34] Exactly.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_00]: He's like.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_00]: He was such a cute kid.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I felt like.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_00]: He looked.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_00]: The guys that I grew up with.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_00]: When he was growing up in.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_00]: In 1D.

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_00]: He got the like.

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Handsome Squidward.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Zac Efron.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Treatment.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_01]: The handsome.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like at one point.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_01]: A celebrity walked into a plastic surgeon's office.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_01]: With a picture of handsome squid.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Squidward.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And said do this.

[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever it takes.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And caught on like.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Fire.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Like.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And now everyone's doing.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that stupid.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Matt Reif.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Or whatever his name is.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Comedian.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Also.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Did that.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_00]: He's like.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Which that guy's not funny by the way.

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_00]: He was in Victoria.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_00]: A few weeks ago.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Doing a set.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I remember when it was announced.

[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So many people posting.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Like.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I got tickets.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I got tickets.

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like.

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I've literally never heard of this person in my life.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And so then I like.

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Looked him up.

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was like.

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh.

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_01]: He makes.

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Jokes about domestic violence.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like.

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Well.

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess there's some more people in my city that I'll never be friends with.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Like.

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Cool.

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Can I say something that's controversial yet brave?

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Be brave.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Liam Payne stripped that down is like a.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_00]: That is the one piece of.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_00]: His.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_00]: His work.

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's the one thing I have respect for him is strip that down feet.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Quavo.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: When that was.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's currently a song I know that Liam Payne released after One Direction.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: If.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: If that tells you what you need to know.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_00]: When it went viral.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: When that sound went viral on TikTok.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I was.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Wouldn't.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You were living.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I came.

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_01]: My TikTok is not giving me any music anymore.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You know.

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_01]: That's.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_01]: All.

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_01]: The.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Upcoming provincial election.

[00:20:56] Yeah.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_00]: This was like.

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it went viral in like 2021.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_00]: But.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_00]: My TikTok.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I know what's actually really interesting.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And I wonder if other people are finding this like I was a TikTok addict from.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I would say you know 2020 until three weeks ago.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And now you're an Instagram Reels addict.

[00:21:19] No.

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Just like.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm finding that TikTok is not hitting.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's because I did also like basically.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Make my feed.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like Victoria.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like local news and stuff like that.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's just.

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Not fun anymore.

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm like.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I actually don't even want to go on this app.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh man.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I still want to go on.

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But I am not enjoying it the way I.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I used to be able to lose hours.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And same.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Scrolling TikTok.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's not the same anymore.

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_01]: In other One Direction news.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01]: We do have some Niall news.

[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_01]: If this website will load.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_01]: What the hell.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_01]: So he announces that he is going to disappear from the spotlight.

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll just.

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Stop.

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_01]: He just wrapped up his world tour.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_01]: The show.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Which was promotion for his third studio.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Third studio album.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So this man has three studio albums.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And you had one song to recommend to me.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just telling.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It just.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It's.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It's very telling.

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But okay.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_00]: To be fair.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Outside of like a handful of Harry Styles songs.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Again.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_00]: This is maybe a controversial take.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's like.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I haven't really liked any of the.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_00]: The 1D boys.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Solo stuff.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't like Zayn's music?

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I liked like.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't wanna live.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I liked pillow talk.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But that was like when he first left the band.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I've just always been a Zayn girly.

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just really not sitting right with my.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Mind spirit.

[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_01]: The way you're speaking about my imaginary boyfriend.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I am excited that he's coming out with new music though.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll listen.

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what happens.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_01]: This.

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's so funny.

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause this is like.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_01]: An article.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like.

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_01]: This could have been an email.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And so it's basically like.

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_01]: On the last day of his show.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_01]: He said.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_01]: This stands from tomorrow onwards.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll never find me.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna be hung over as fuck tomorrow.

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm gonna disappear for a while.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna make you guys a brand new album.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'll be back.

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I promise.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So he's taking a break from touring.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And we'll make a new album and come back.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's not news.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yahoo News got me with the fricking.

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Clickbait headline.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's true.

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like.

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So you're doing what like Adele.

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And like.

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Ariana.

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Like many.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Many.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Singers do.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they have to live their lives in between albums.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_00]: To like.

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Be able to write new music.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: KK.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_00]: As you said.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_00]: What spotlight.

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I know that.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: World tour.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Like he was just in Argentina.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But like.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_00]: It's.

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_00]: It.

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Did he play in Vancouver?

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a good question.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just wild to me that I feel like Charlie XCX and Troy Sivan had like a hard time selling out their shows.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_00]: He's in Buenos Aires.

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's also like he gets the one direction bump.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_00]: One hundred percent.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Like he.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He gets the one direction bump.

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And so he'll always be able to sell out shows for that reason.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_00]: They always toss in a 1D song like acoustic.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It like or whatever.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So.

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I get it.

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_01]: There's nobody out there that's going to be like.

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you just.

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you know that Niall was from one direction?

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody knows.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's just.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not.

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_01]: He's just not operating on the same plane and that's okay.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's what's been kind of going on in 1D land.

[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Did I miss anything as a like I'm less of a directioner than you?

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Is there anything else that you're like.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: We have to.

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a good question.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I do think that there's rumors that Harry Styles might be.

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_00]: This is like.

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Not blinding to me, but like there's been no press or anything.

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of tick tock theory.

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like we're clowning.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We're clowning for new Harry Styles because it's been two years since his last album.

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It's been what a year since he wrapped up his tour.

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, or maybe just coming up on a year and.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Has it been a year?

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he was on that tour for all of time.

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_01]: If you told me he was still on it right now, I would have.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_00]: He wrapped up in early 2024 and.

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_00]: People are saying so Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas have both postponed the release of their albums

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_00]: that were supposed to come out like October, November.

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So people are saying.

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_01]: No, weren't they supposed to come out October 19th?

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And okay.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you're right.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And then people are saying that they're postponing.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's probably because there's a competitor that is going to outsell them.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00]: But I, that's not Harry Styles.

[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause you know what else is October 19th?

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_01]: First night back on the heiress tour baby.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_01]: There will be no explanation.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: There will.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: There will.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Only be reputation.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Like winds in the east.

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Like.

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_00]: It's coming in.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause I was like.

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess Harry could outsell both Joe and Shawn, but.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but like.

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Who could really outsell them?

[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Taylor Swift.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I know who could really outsell them with no advance notice.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Right?

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's the part that makes me really clown for a rerecord.

[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You're right because Harry.

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Would.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Have to do promo.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And October 19th is a week away.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's.

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't be him.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I am.

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I have my clown nose on the wig is like being put on my face right now.

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I've got.

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm clowning.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's fine.

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It's who I am now.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And honestly.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm like, wow, maybe she should never release the rest of the rerecords because

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_01]: then I get to clown until the day.

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I.

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so fun.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it's tiring.

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I feel tired by it, but like.

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Man.

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so fun to be a Taylor Swift fan and just.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Like talk about these insane theories, but I would be so happy.

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I know it's wild because we got 31 new songs.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Just this April, but I'm kind of dying for some new Taylor music.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, I want some Taylor that makes me feel that life is worth living.

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_01]: A little bit more upbeat.

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly.

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Midnight's is right there waiting for you to go back.

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's true.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Even if it was like vocal folklore folklore or evermore.

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Vault tracks or a Christmas EP.

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Like maybe she redoes her Christmas EP or something like that.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll take anything.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_01]: If it's no, if it's a rerecord of her Christmas EP, I'm going to be.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Devo.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's one of the funniest things that you do.

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally so Devo.

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It is one of the funniest things she could do, but it would break my heart and spirit.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, shall we move along?

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's.

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So Kim Kardashian interviewed her child Northwest and interview makes magazine dot com.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like people aren't talking about the interview as a whole.

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_01]: They're just, of course, looking for the part where.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Northwest.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of sassing Kim.

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Because.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me.

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all they.

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all they pick out of North ever, which is like funny.

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I love when she's like.

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Funny, but.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's so probably like it.

[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Like 100% is problematic.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Like they just clip her quote quotes.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Um.

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And that like, it's almost becoming like one dimensional.

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's all they like.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I love the videos where she's like calling out like Kim's influence your voice and stuff like that.

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's like.

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: When that's the only.

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Thing that people can like hang their hats on.

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: It's.

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_00]: It's yeah.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Stale.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's it's getting stale.

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's just like.

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Low key problematic the way people talk about this literal child as well.

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like people will share it and not be like.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's so funny how she made fun of kids.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll be like.

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_01]: This.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Bitch.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, that's a child.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Settle down, please.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I beg.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, so this is the part that people are talking about.

[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_01]: And I do think it's pretty funny.

[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So Kim says.

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, serious question.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: How is my cooking?

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And North says you haven't cooked for us in a long time.

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Last time you cooked was two Halloween's ago.

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And Kim says, well, what did I make?

[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And North says mac and cheese.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And Kim's like, and fried chicken and cornbread.

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not a one trick pony.

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that meal good?

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And North goes, it's good.

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just that you're really good at making me cucumbers and salt.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, though, like cucumber girlies.

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I literally.

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Cucumber and salt is like a huge part of my diet.

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Me too.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I will eat just cucumber and salt.

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll make the Logan like shake the all the like soy sauces and fish oils and stuff like that.

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_00]: One.

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll do a cheese and cracker with the cucumber and salt like it.

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's literally classic.

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll eat a whole English cucumber, like the long ones.

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not difficult to do.

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Because it's mostly water, of course.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm hmm.

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_01]: But I thought that that was really funny.

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And Kim's like, oh, what do you want to be when you grow up?

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And North is like, I don't know.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I already do a lot of stuff that I want to do when I grow up.

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I want to pursue my career now.

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, no, be a kid.

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Let her be a kid.

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Totally.

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Because she's like, I'm going to come out with new music and I'm going to do a clothing line and stuff like that.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh, I wish you could just like chill.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Even the her getting interviewed.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Just chill.

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I love the photo shoot.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so cute.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so cute.

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like bubbles.

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally stunning.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_00]: But this I thought this was really fun.

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I think she seems like a super creative.

[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think she she painted those paintings from back in the day?

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I mean, maybe her.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: She loves her art.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_00]: She loves her music.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_00]: She loves her fashion.

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think about that, but maybe.

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_01]: That's fun.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01]: She probably like conceptualized all of the creative behind the photo shoot.

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_01]: No, literally all the clothes and stuff.

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But yes.

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's the that's the new Kardashian news that's going on.

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_01]: The other Kardashian news that's being posted about is like one of Ye's staff, like, alleging

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_01]: that he was having like Kim followed and also possibly ex wife.

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, we don't need to talk about that here.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_01]: But if you want to seek it out, Google's right there for you.

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's like this TMZ rumors that Kanye and.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Bianca.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Bianca sensory are being.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Like going through a divorce possibly.

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And I pray.

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I pray that they are.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I pray for her to be free of him.

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, totally.

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_00]: The.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Outfits.

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_00]: The.

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Constant like walking around with paparazzi.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah.

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It's no.

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Enough is enough.

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But we can only send her good wishes.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_01]: There is also.

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess this is kind of.

[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_01]: We've kind of moved into quick bites, but that's fine.

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_01]: So Kayla Nicole, who is Travis Kelsey's ex girlfriend.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Did.

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Chatting.

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_01]: She was in unapologetically angel angel Reese's podcast this week.

[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's so funny because there's like two things that people are really talking about

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: from this interview.

[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And one of them is that she was dating a guy who dumped her through a text message

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_01]: for a famous singer slash actress saying, oh, he lied about it for months and then popped

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_01]: out with her.

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It became this public thing like, oh, my God, we love them.

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like people at first were like.

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God, is this about Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift, which like obviously not, because

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: why would you move to New York to be with Travis Kelsey?

[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_01]: He's he's not in New York.

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Not.

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_00]: But is there any speculation about who else it could be?

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_01]: People believe that it's a Mon Shumpert.

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, interesting.

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is funny because she previously dressed as his ex-wife for Halloween.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's too funny.

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And Kayla is getting some flack, I feel like for this interview, too, because people were

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_00]: she was talking about the Travis Kelsey breakup and she was just saying, like, we don't really

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_00]: get a like.

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I guess.

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, talk.

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel like stay in contact or whatever.

[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And people jumping down her throat.

[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I literally feel like she was just saying I have nothing against him.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: He has nothing against me, but we've moved on with our lives and he's in like such a public

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: spot that there's not really room for like a friendly relationship because it would get.

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Like twisted into something it's not like that's the vibe I got.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like people are losing their minds because she said we're both aware of the nature

[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_01]: of his new situation that there's just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other.

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Publicly, I was like, yeah, that's correct.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Like she every detail of her life was already picked apart when Travis and Taylor started getting

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_00]: together.

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And obviously it was like, who is Travis Kelsey's exes and stuff like that?

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And then so she like, yeah, got a lot of flack for saying that.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I also think like.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not like she was like trying to be like, I'm going to like DM him, like see what's

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_00]: up or whatever.

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_01]: She was like, I would, I would like give him a head nod if I saw him on the street.

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And like, I just felt like it was very clear.

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything is totally chill.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But that like she's avoiding the media circus, which is totally understandable.

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Totally.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, I feel like people and I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but I feel like

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_00]: people are always like you have to cut your ex out of your life, which like in some cases you

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_00]: do, but I'm like, in some cases I feel like.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_00]: If it like if you run in the same circles and it ended amicably, not that you're going to

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00]: be friends, but I feel like you could be like acquaintances or like.

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think just not like cold to each other.

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that as long as there's nothing like horrible from the relationship or how the

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: relationship ended.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_01]: If you can't even like be cordial, that's a red flag to me.

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't think that like you can be friends or you cannot be friends.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Like everyone has different levels of wanting that and everyone's like new relationships have

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_01]: different levels of what boundary is okay with being in communication with exes and that's

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever it's up to the people in the situation.

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_01]: But like if you like broke up with somebody and there was no like it wasn't dramatic.

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: There was nothing toxic.

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no abuse.

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_01]: You just didn't work out and you broke up and then you're like, oh, I hate them or oh,

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't even talk to them like.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But.

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't even just like be human for like a cocktail party like I don't understand.

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_00]: 100% especially if they're still running in similar like if they're going to bump into

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_00]: each other and stuff like that.

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like I.

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like and maybe it's the like people pleaser in me that it's like I also just

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_00]: couldn't deal with the unknown of being like does someone out there hate me.

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought is someone.

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw a meme that was like Shazam but for if someone's mad at you.

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_00]: No, seriously.

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I just feel like it's.

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so much better for your like conscience and your anxiety to just be like good with people.

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if again if nothing like.

[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm full was going on or whatever.

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_01]: But so like I don't know leave Kayla Nicole alone.

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't be weird.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_01]: No, seriously.

[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Seriously.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Let her let her talk her shit on the podcast.

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Talk your shit.

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I love that.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Um.

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield are doing press right now for their new movie.

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_01]: We live in time.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're both like great interviewers.

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_01]: So like all of these little videos are fun, but they were doing a one of the vanity fair like question videos.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And Andrew asked, oh, what is my favorite social network to use?

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And Florence Pugh said, oh, well, you don't have any public social network.

[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But the ones that you do that I do.

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I do know of you using you tweet not much, but you do do twit.

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_01]: So then he goes, oh, I've never tweeted.

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like now people are like, oh, my God.

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Find the account.

[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_01]: He has like a secret Twitter account.

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe it's private.

[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's public.

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Who knows?

[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_01]: But.

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, oh, no, no social network for me.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's interesting because I feel like like, do you think she outed him?

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I think she.

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she might have outed that he has a secret account because literally shows after he shows the answer.

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, oh, so I shouldn't have said that.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Like literally in the video.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like 99% of celebs have secret accounts that they must.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I have a secret account.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's funny.

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I actually don't.

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never had like a Finsta or a Fritter or whatever, but Fritter.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Where's the arc?

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Fritter.

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you've eaten a Fritter before.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but I like this because obviously Andrew Garfield was in the movie social, the social network.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, the Facebook one, but yeah, they're so charming.

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm really excited for Andrew Garfield's chicken shop date.

[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I will be perusing Reddit every day until someone finds his account.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like, I was actually thinking about doing a Patreon episode about this, but it's kind of like how I think it was cool.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So, I think that's cool.

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So, I think that's cool.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's cool.

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And we just need, we just need Andrew Garfield's Twitter or Twitter or whatever to be exposed so we can see his takes.

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_01]: 100%.

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_01]: 100%.

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_01]: What if we found out about Andrew Garfield's secret Twitter account?

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: What if you followed one of us?

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, can you imagine?

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Like how John Cena follows me?

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_00]: What?

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Wait, what?

[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_00]: John Cena follows my, like, personal Twitter account.

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why.

[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, you have a personal Twitter?

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're following it.

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Am I?

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you only posted on an already to be petty.

[00:42:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I, I very rarely, um, tweet or twit as, as Florence would say, but, um, yeah, 100%.

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like celebrities either, like, they have a social media manager running their public account and they use a private one or they're offline because they lead better lives than us.

[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, so true.

[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So, so true.

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think of who, like, random followers I have are.

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_01]: At one point, Obama was following me, but he is not following me anymore.

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That was, like, really random.

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_00]: That's so funny.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I think he still follows Brian Scali.

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I love that for him.

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I think he does.

[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He also follows, like, 500,000 people.

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So, you never know.

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah.

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_01]: At one point, um, Scaramucci was following me, but he was following everyone on Big Brother Twitter.

[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And then he had his, like, celebrity Big Brother thing and he unfollowed everybody.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's fair.

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_01]: The mooch.

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, good times.

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Mike Mitchell from the Doughboys follows me on Twitter and Instagram.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.

[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Not the double follow.

[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what's real then.

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's how you know it's real.

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_00]: That's so funny.

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I can't read.

[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_01]: No one, no one like famous.

[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about like, like Taylor Hale from Big Brother is like now famous and we're mutuals.

[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So I guess like that kind of thing, but only only really in the Big Brother world does anybody care about what I have to say.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_00]: But sometimes those people like, like you're saying branch out from BB.

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they become mainstream and you're like, yes, look at me go.

[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyways.

[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay, this story.

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Have you seen the Jessica Chasset and JetBlue stuff?

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I included this specifically because I know you love a good airline.

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes.

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I am.

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm an avid news AF listener and every worst airplane passenger of the week story.

[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I am howling.

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I also love when celebs decide because it's like Jessica Chastain, do you need your $1,500 back from this flight?

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_00]: See, you are a millionaire.

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_01]: See, to me, I'm like, this is a comrade.

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_01]: This is somebody who's advocating and it could help the little guys like us one day.

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_01]: True.

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_01]: True.

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_01]: She's organizing.

[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_01]: She's doing community grassroots.

[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_01]: She's doing some grassroots.

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Clean.

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So she posted on Twitter that, uh, like, thank you at JetBlue for your $15 credit.

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_01]: My flight was $1,500 and the credit is one one hundredth of the money I paid you.

[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And then she included a screenshot of the email from JetBlue.

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, strange that I paid that for your flight entertainment system that didn't work for the duration of my six hour flight.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_01]: But I guess it was worth it for this $15 credit.

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And they, of course, are like, please DM us so that we can look into.

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_00]: The poor, like, 18 year old social media manager is just like, great.

[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Another one.

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_01]: A celebrity is in my mentions today.

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_01]: She just wishes that she could have had a, she should have gotten a flight credit because she has a true blue account and is a loyal customer.

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_01]: But apparently everybody receives the same $15 if the inflate entertainment is not working.

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's, that's bullshit.

[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_01]: If you tell me there's gonna be inflate entertainment and I don't get it, I'm gonna be pissed.

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Like six hours is a long time to not have inflate entertainment.

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So that was the only problem.

[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So she paid $1,500 for a flight.

[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm assuming to Europe, which is, that must be business class, right?

[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I have to weigh $1,500 that I feel like that's business class.

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And she just wanted her $15 back because of the inflate.

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, she got, she got $15 back, but she's like, how the hell is it only $15 back when I pay you this much money?

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Why am I only getting $15 back?

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she wanted a larger sum.

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_00]: She wanted more credit.

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing though.

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, not that I'm like sticking up for airline companies.

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_00]: They're literally my arch nemesis, but I, I always am like, guys pack, like pack your Kindle.

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's, we're Canadian.

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's different.

[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they took screens out of our planes fucking years ago.

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Right?

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I feel like Americans are like, no, our flights come with wifi and we get to watch a screen and they've got movies and TV for free.

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I feel like since we're Canadian, we deal with like the worst conditions on plane.

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_01]: No, seriously.

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_01]: We're just like, wow, I can't believe people would complain.

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like, if they had to fly on Air Canada, they would like die.

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_00]: No, literally, literally.

[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny.

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I remember I flew actually, I think it was JetBlue.

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, no free club for the girlies though.

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Bleep that.

[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I flew when I flew to Nashville, they gave us like the full pop instead of just the, um, like little plastic, like the Sippy Cab.

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_01]: But here's the pro tip.

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're on WestJet, you can ask for the full can and they'll give it to you.

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_00]: No, they will.

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like any airline would.

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like texting people being like, guys, like, guess, guess what happened?

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think my flights had wifi too.

[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, this is wild.

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause I'm used to Air Canada jazz, uh, like where you get no snacks, no drinks, no in-flight entertainment.

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm used to flare air where I'm not allowed to take a carry on and they'll spit in my face and I have to say thank you.

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_00]: No, literally.

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I flew, um, the WestJet, um, super basic to Kelowna a few weekends ago.

[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And I brought a single backpack that I have been using for the past 10 years as my, um, like personal item on flights.

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, that's not going to fit under your seat.

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not fitting in the like, uh, size or whatever.

[00:49:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, guys, like, I don't understand.

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I've gone like on a million flights to this bag for the past 10 years.

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_00]: They make me repack the entire thing at the gate.

[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's cause you, it's cause you paid for the peasant.

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:49:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So they knew I was a peasant.

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So they, they, they, they called me out.

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_01]: They said, ah, someone we can point and laugh at in the airport, unpack your bag and pack it back again.

[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%.

[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_00]: So I did this whole like clown routine where I was like pulling stuff out of my bag.

[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I was a clown pulling things out of my like bag of tricks or whatever.

[00:50:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I, I repacked the bag.

[00:50:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Every item is still in there.

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I put it in the sides where they're like, yeah, you can, you can board now.

[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay.

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Literally.

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a humiliation.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_00]: No, literally.

[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I still paid $200 for the effing flight.

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, there was like three centimeters of room, maybe five centimeters of room on either side of the bag.

[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I was, I was devout.

[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I should have been tweeting like Jessica.

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Just honestly, I'm going to tweet right now.

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be like, my friend was on a West jet flight and the gate was on purpose.

[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Just to laugh.

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Was shamed.

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I was zone nine, even though there was only three zones.

[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_00]: No, wait.

[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_00]: How many zones?

[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_00]: There's not nine zones.

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_00]: No, there was three zones.

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And then they flagged the super basic people in zone nine.

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Why couldn't it be zone four?

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually, it's a public humiliation tactic to.

[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I see.

[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_01]: That's when I booked the all book, the ultra basic, but when they're like, Oh, anyone advanced boarding, anyone who needs a little extra time.

[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I, I fake a limb up.

[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I like.

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, sorry, you can't.

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Ma'am.

[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I literally was like anyone with social anxiety.

[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause like I was panicking.

[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And like, I, not that I don't have a social anxiety, but like, I was like anyone with social anxiety is just going to buy the more expensive fare just to avoid this interaction.

[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I've got to tell you, I would pay it because.

[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, you can make me pay for a checked bag.

[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_01]: You can force me to gate check.

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_01]: You can laugh at me.

[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You could point and laugh at me.

[00:52:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They basically did over before you make me pay for a carry on.

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_00]: No, literally.

[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I'm going for 24 hours.

[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I literally went for one day.

[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I have one 45 minute flight, $200.

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And, and I'm, I was judging Jessica Chastain.

[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I should be.

[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You should be Jessica Chastain.

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%.

[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It was.

[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so ridiculous.

[00:52:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The cost of flights, the way that they are like, okay, we'll charge you a hundred dollars for like a checked bag.

[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so then people bring carry ons and they're like, okay, well actually jokes on you.

[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_00]: We a don't have room and B we'll just remove that right from you too.

[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But people are so like, no one wants to pay for the checked bag, which I totally understand.

[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_01]: But then people will go through security with a bag that is clearly too big to go on the plane.

[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And then when they're like, okay, everyone, this gate to this flight to Toronto is very full.

[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_01]: If everybody could just, if you have a rolly bag gate, check it.

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And then you see someone with like a bag that's the size of a person.

[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, yeah, the base, like, where's that going to go?

[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Where's that bag going?

[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Not on the plane.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_01]: That has to go 100%.

[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_00]: When I went to natural last weekend or two weekends ago, um, I had to gate check my bag.

[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_00]: We were like the last aboard the plane.

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So they were like, we're just making everyone at this point gate check, walk onto the plane.

[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_00]: There's two bags sitting instead of like vertical, not vertical, but like the proper way in the overhead compartment.

[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_00]: They were like parallel, like two bags.

[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, they were hot dog instead of hamburger.

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not right.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I cannot stand it here.

[00:53:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot stand this.

[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to become the worst airplane passenger of the week.

[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be that.

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_00]: But wait, all of a sudden I become like a boomer Karen on flight or like people will like stand up in the row.

[00:54:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'll be like, no, the second, the second I enter an airplane, my internal clock ages me up to like 75.

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%.

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%.

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_01]: And so Jessica Chastain got some kind of smoke for these tweets and she did delete them.

[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, some people were supporting her.

[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we obviously stand with Jessica Chastain, um, against JetBlue, but I'm now seeing a recommended story on people.

[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And this where.

[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas and the drummer, Neil Daniels were on a plane together and a passenger was escorted off for, I guess, yelling racist things and trying to open the door to the plane was in the air.

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But while it was while the person was getting escorted off, the drummer, Neil Daniels was playing the curb your enthusiasm theme song and Rob Thomas took a video of that and posted.

[00:55:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God, I can't.

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't.

[00:55:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever been on a plane where like an incident like that has happened?

[00:55:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It's been smooth sailing for me.

[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, never an incident like that.

[00:55:20] [SPEAKER_01]: But last year when we were coming back from Mexico, there was this guy at the airport in Mexico who was acting like weird like Josh was like, we're gonna go sit over there.

[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So we're not sitting at this person.

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_01]: This person was on our flight.

[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we landed in Calgary for our layover.

[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and like the whole front all the like business class rich people got to leave the plane.

[00:55:42] [SPEAKER_01]: We're all standing.

[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_01]: We were like near the front.

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So we're like ready to grab our bags and go enjoy our layover, whatever.

[00:55:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden they're like, okay, everyone, if you could just sit back down so the police can come on to the plane.

[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, uh, what?

[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And then a radic dude from the airport in Cancun got arrested and escorted off the plane by two police.

[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, geez.

[00:56:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know what for.

[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess he was I think he might have been smoking in the bathroom on the plane, but we don't know for sure.

[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that like every time I hear stories like this about like weird food stuff or bodily fun, like weird bathroom stuff or whatever.

[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like that has never happened to me.

[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_00]: My complaints are the normie ones like like Jessica is but okay, like also so she did get some heat, but it's like I think it's because the way she worded it was individualistic.

[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Like it was like I deserve this and it's like, well, I wish she was just like JetBlue.

[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You like suck or like, but it's also like we don't maybe hers was the only one that didn't work.

[00:56:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe everyone else is in flight entertainment was no problem.

[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, right.

[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know.

[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't have the full story.

[00:56:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, true.

[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_00]: True, true, true.

[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Oscar winner Jessica Chastain Wayne and he needs more than $15 back.

[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:57:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, should we do an anonymous?

[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Please let's do it.

[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_01]: We are in to our anonymous now.

[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So this story is like, it just was interesting to me.

[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to go with it.

[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Excuse me.

[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_01]: So our messenger says my family is originally from a small country.

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And my great grandfather was part of a traveling band in the army back when armies did this, I guess, pre World War II.

[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't like like the war flute when they used to like play it while they were fighting.

[00:57:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that means, but I'd love to know more.

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:57:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I was like 15 years old.

[00:57:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what, but I'm not sure what that means.

[00:58:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure what it means.

[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that means.

[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that means.

[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that means.

[00:58:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that means.

[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_00]: No, not the second family reveal.

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Even pre-World War II.

[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess it was probably way easier to have families back then.

[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:58:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they don't change, hey?

[00:58:38] [SPEAKER_01]: They never change.

[00:58:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And so our messenger's grandfather had three half-sisters

[00:58:44] [SPEAKER_01]: that were significantly younger than him

[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_01]: that he found out about when he joined the traveling band.

[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And so obviously this was a huge shock to our messenger's grandpa.

[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But when we fast forward to when our messenger is growing up,

[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_01]: these three sisters of her grandpa were totally integrated into the family.

[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_01]: And when this story was told,

[00:59:06] [SPEAKER_01]: it was always with a sense of excitement

[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_01]: that he has more family to connect to,

[00:59:11] [SPEAKER_01]: never resembled for his father being kind of a dumbass.

[00:59:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But they all ended up living in the same village

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_01]: and raising their families all together.

[00:59:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And everyone gets along.

[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Love.

[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is just wild.

[00:59:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's actually kind of uplifting.

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And once the news called one of our messenger's aunts

[00:59:33] [SPEAKER_01]: to see if they could profile the family,

[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_01]: but when they found out it wasn't like a dysfunctional fight,

[00:59:37] [SPEAKER_01]: they lost interest.

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_01]: But that was so like our messenger's grandfather,

[00:59:44] [SPEAKER_01]: who was a real family man,

[00:59:45] [SPEAKER_01]: who has passed away,

[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_01]: but his legacy and family closeness lives on.

[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_01]: They say not dramatic or messy,

[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_01]: but popped into my head and I wanted to share.

[00:59:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that's great.

[00:59:53] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I love this.

[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I love family lore.

[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Like what's the story that everyone brings up

[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_00]: around the dinner table or whatever.

[01:00:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So I love like deep family lore.

[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, wild about the second family thing.

[01:00:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I always like,

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I always just wonder how people can pull that off.

[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Where people are like,

[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_00]: like shook to their core,

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_00]: like they didn't see signs or like,

[01:00:21] [SPEAKER_00]: how do people come?

[01:00:23] [SPEAKER_00]: A, how do they compartmentalize that and lie?

[01:00:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And then how do also people not.

[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like it was probably easier than way back when,

[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_01]: because it was like,

[01:00:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you could get letters,

[01:00:42] [SPEAKER_01]: like probably diverted to like a store.

[01:00:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You'd be like,

[01:00:45] [SPEAKER_01]: oh,

[01:00:45] [SPEAKER_01]: when you write to me here,

[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: like I'm staying at this hotel,

[01:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: then you like go pick up your letters at the front desk or whatever.

[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Um,

[01:00:52] [SPEAKER_01]: or just like,

[01:00:53] [SPEAKER_01]: it would be like,

[01:00:54] [SPEAKER_01]: oh,

[01:00:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going away on a work trip with the traveling army band.

[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like,

[01:00:59] [SPEAKER_01]: you're just gone.

[01:01:00] [SPEAKER_01]: You're out of contact.

[01:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So like no one's checking up on you.

[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas now it's like with social media,

[01:01:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how anyone gets away with like the second family.

[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm sure it still happens because people are creative.

[01:01:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Sasha sent me a tick talk this week of like someone talking about

[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: how someone was like cheating using the Instagram's close friend stories

[01:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: as a form of communication.

[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: So like people who want to cheat will always find a way.

[01:01:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[01:01:28] [SPEAKER_00]: so like they were,

[01:01:30] [SPEAKER_00]: they would post stories of one significant other on close friends.

[01:01:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And then in close,

[01:01:38] [SPEAKER_01]: they would,

[01:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: okay,

[01:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: no,

[01:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: it's mind blowing.

[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like,

[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: say I wanted to cheat with you.

[01:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I would make you the only person on my close friend story.

[01:01:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I would write whatever I wanted to say to you in the close

[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: friend story.

[01:01:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And then you would have me as the only person on your close friend story.

[01:01:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And you would write back whatever your message is.

[01:01:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it disappears.

[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: No one else would see it.

[01:01:58] [SPEAKER_01]: It disappears.

[01:01:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And if someone checked your phone,

[01:02:01] [SPEAKER_01]: they wouldn't see a history of messages because there's no messages.

[01:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:02:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy.

[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen,

[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: cheaters will always find a way to cheat.

[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Truly.

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like in every platform,

[01:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: they will find a way to,

[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: to be sneaky.

[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_00]: That is wild.

[01:02:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Isn't that crazy?

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It's funny when you like,

[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: don't have a cheater mindset.

[01:02:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't.

[01:02:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It would never,

[01:02:25] [SPEAKER_01]: it would simply never occur to me.

[01:02:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Would never occur to me.

[01:02:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen people like,

[01:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: like girlies on TikToks and I don't recommend this,

[01:02:34] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's like when they're like,

[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to see like,

[01:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: like I send,

[01:02:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I just add my crush to close friends and then send like some things that

[01:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: way.

[01:02:43] [SPEAKER_00]: See if you like views it and shit like that.

[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's like,

[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I could see myself doing that.

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Like posting like a thirst trap to close friends,

[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_01]: but they're the only one there.

[01:02:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Like what they do.

[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I could,

[01:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I could see myself doing that in another world.

[01:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe like 10 years ago I'm doing that,

[01:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's like,

[01:03:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I.

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[01:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: 10 years ago I would have done that.

[01:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Now.

[01:03:04] [SPEAKER_00]: University me is doing that.

[01:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm like,

[01:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot be bothered.

[01:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not.

[01:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.

[01:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: As a grown ass woman.

[01:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: It's wild though.

[01:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Again,

[01:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: how the world can open up to you.

[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: If you just have that cheating mindset.

[01:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You can use apps in new ways.

[01:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: There's always something there.

[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: We do not recommend it.

[01:03:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Mess Magnet's official stance is anti-cheating.

[01:03:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Anti-cheating.

[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Also,

[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to say about this anonymous is that I also would embrace the second family because I like that stuff,

[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_00]: but I would cut out the cheater.

[01:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: My dad gone.

[01:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: But my new sisters.

[01:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah,

[01:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: exactly.

[01:03:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm always down for new sisters,

[01:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: but like.

[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Would cut off the dad.

[01:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah,

[01:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I could see that.

[01:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I think.

[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's my mindset as well.

[01:03:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I also think that like,

[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_01]: if this is all pre world war two,

[01:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: it's all.

[01:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like.

[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it will be.

[01:04:05] [SPEAKER_01]: You wouldn't.

[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You couldn't like cut off a family member.

[01:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[01:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the world was like.

[01:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't alive yet.

[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: No,

[01:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: neither.

[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah,

[01:04:15] [SPEAKER_01]: this is a great anonymous.

[01:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for our messenger for sharing.

[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: If anyone else has family lore that you want to share,

[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: we would love to have it.

[01:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: As a future anonymous,

[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_01]: you can go straight to mess magnets.com.

[01:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: The link is right there to submit and we could use it.

[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we haven't done an oops all anonymous in a while.

[01:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And we probably.

[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll start planning for another one of those soon.

[01:04:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And if that's going to happen,

[01:04:43] [SPEAKER_01]: we need more mass.

[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: We are running super low on mass.

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_01]: So if we want to do an oops all anonymous,

[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: we're going to need more.
