[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm Sasha. I'm Kirsten. And this is Mess Magnets. We're back baby! The three feet!

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen, it's going to be a big next three weeks, so I'm glad it was able to happen.

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_02]: We did it! We did it, Joe!

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen, programming note at the start of the pod.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I'm about to be out for the next few weeks, y'all.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Sasha is catching flights, not feelings, as per usual.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. And she is, she's not gonna be here.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So we are going to have to make do without her for what, three weeks?

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes! I will say, or maybe we can do, you know, a little bit late.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_02]: If we record like, yeah.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Early next week or late the last one. I don't know.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But like, it's probably gonna be three weeks with no Sasha, y'all.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: So just get on board, get ready.

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I will hold down the fort while she's away.

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. Having her well-deserved rest and vacation and seeing really cool stuff.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is our, you know, you're on the clock.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause if y'all want to come on the Mess Magnets, any podcasters.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Hello?

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Are you listening?

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you listening to Mess Magnets?

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I already got one that told me like, I haven't been asked in months.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, put it in the private chat.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't even wait till the podcast is over.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Tape it in the chat.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. This person was like, I haven't been asked in months.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm confused what's going on.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I guess, I guess maybe I could throw a, throw a text their way.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I will be gone.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But listen, I cannot wait to be, to finally have a vacation podcast.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause it'll be the number one podcast in Kenya, maybe.

[00:03:15] Yeah.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Just make sure while you're in Kenya to download all the back episodes.

[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, as well as the new one.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_02]: 100%.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be so much fun.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to get on hands.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to become crazy while you're gone.

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Not without me.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to be crazy too.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, we are crazy together, but I'm going to like,

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to amp it up a notch to try and be like you plus me,

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_01]: crazy, just in me.

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I just, I hate when good things happen and I'm not part of it.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all I feel.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, well, and I have that feeling almost all the time when I'm listening to you on podcasts.

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's, it's, they'll never let us talk on any other show except this one.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like imagine the big brother recap with you and me.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll never let it happen.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: They honestly, if they recorded it, they would be like, don't release it.

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Turn off the YouTube down.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Turn off the down.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_02]: The messengers know what's up and that's all I care about anyway.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But yes.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Are we, are we ready?

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Have you seen this first drama?

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I have to, okay.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I have to say to you.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So, um, we have our notes outlined, which we both have worked on this week.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd say this is like a pretty good 50, 50 week for the two of us.

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, sometimes it's a more of a Sasha heavy week.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it's more of me heavy week, pretty even.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But the first story here, Sasha has put on and I got to tell you, I don't know who either

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_01]: of the people in that.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And I, I meant to put a note to not like, I read, listen, but then I think you prepare

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_01]: yourself and you read things when I put them into the document, but I've got to, I am

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_01]: never going to prepare.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm so glad because, okay.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: First of all, thank you.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Tell me about it.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you to Josh for, you know, R H A P out of context.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Our guy, uh, sent me this and said, I'm loving mess magnets.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, I can't wait for you to talk about, uh, the Tiana and Cody drop.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And I said, what drama?

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_02]: What is this?

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause you know, I don't be on Tik TOK unless it is to like find all the drama.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's fine because he said, Sasha, what do you mean?

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_02]: NFL star Cody Ford.

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_02]: When so wait.

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Wait.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So like he plays for Oklahoma or he plays for a different team.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: He now is like in the NFL, but he went to call and he played.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_01]: He was on your beloved, but I kind of hated team.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I listen my call it.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Oklahoma doesn't have a professional football team.

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, or they do.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's called the Oklahoma Sooners.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just kidding.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, it is not a boomer.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Texas sucks.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_02]: No.

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_02]: But anyways, so it's just, that's a chance.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_02]: But Cody Ford went to Oklahoma and I said, hold up.

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_02]: These, my people.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So I really have to check now.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And, uh, we're in for a little treat.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: It's, it's a little bit of a quick bite, but, but I was very enthralled by it.

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: It's, I mean, listen, does anybody do their best and hardest work the day before they leave on vacation?

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I think the messengers need to be prepared for these.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: This is, and that's the thing.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone, please get it together.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So TikTok drama, which again, I feel like is my favorite thing in this world.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's get to it.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's talk about TT or Tiana.

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And she in June announces that she has broken up with Cincinnati Bengals, which is a professional NFL team player, Cody Ford.

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Fine.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Shit happens.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: People break up and people are like, I'm confusion because he just proposed to her in April.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was like this candle lit engagement, like something I would definitely want.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, this is what I would want.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_02]: This is what I wish Karthik did.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But here we are.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Not what you wish Karthik.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at the, I'm looking at the video.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It's beautiful.

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, cause they now they've always had like the fake LED, like fake candles.

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_01]: But now recently, like the technology game has been upped because now they look like they

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: have actually flickering flames and they look way more real.

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_01]: My spin studio has upgraded their candles to these ones.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm familiar.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's what, yeah.

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's just like, you know, romance, beautiful.

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they are, you know, OTP.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_02]: We love it.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: We're there.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So then two months later, what is going on?

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are they broken up?

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's talk about it.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: She does an interview with the, a podcast called hot mess.

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, girl, right.

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's talking on there and guess why they broke up.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_02]: She caught him cheating.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And, and it's not just like, Oh, he cheated, you know, like shucks.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It was one.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't the first time.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about that.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Secondly, you want to know how she finds out?

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, um, uh, Apple watch.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's good.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I've, I've seen once where someone sees like text on an Apple watch and they

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: like use it to, to figure everything out.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: What was it?

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: The jam.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Was it like Shakira?

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not fun.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll say that.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: But I still think it is such a like crazy situation.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So, uh, long story short, she posts, um, you know, right.

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02]: She posts this video.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It's nice.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And then she comes back from an influencer type trip.

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, or with her girl.

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, can I ask a question?

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Please.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So I have never heard of this woman before.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Same.

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: As big as Alex Earl.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Like how many followers does this person have?

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: She now has 2 million.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's what we're going to.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_02]: That's why I was, I was so intrigued by her because, uh, there's just so much going on.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So, okay.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_02]: She, you know, is like, she comes back.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_02]: She said from a trip from Paris and she's like on live and they don't live in the same,

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: um, house.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, cause he's at training camp or pre-training camp, whatever in Ohio.

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_02]: That's where his team is.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's in Dallas where they're like home is.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So he was supposed to come and this happens on a Tuesday and he was supposed to come on

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_02]: a Thursday.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Not on a Tuesday.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's really going up on a Tuesday.

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So she's on live and it's fine and it's going on.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And she said, you know, um, someone that keeps showing up in her lives, which again, I think we know,

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_02]: like we'll have some messengers or some people that we just know because you know, of just

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_02]: how, um, aware and how like they're always around, uh, you know, so that's what happens.

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like for me, it's definitely the, like when I do below deck pods, I'm like, oh yes, I know

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_02]: who these people are.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause they'd be in the chat.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So this person, like, I don't know if they're a mod or not, but basically kept being like,

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey girl, someone's trying to get ahold of you.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Check your DMS, check your DMS, check your DMS.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Now the whole live is like, Hey, check your DMS, check your DMS.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And she just acts like it didn't happen.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_02]: She said, but it was in the back of her mind and she hits, you know, cut on it.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And then she messages this person and she's like, what's up girl.

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, Hey, the X person is trying to get ahold of you.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Please check your DMS.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's when she says she just knew because basically she goes on and she realized that

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_02]: she's in the DMS.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And there's this girl from a spam tick tock account, of course,

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: that he's been cheating.

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And what's the proof?

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: The literal address of their house.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's because he's literally been like dropping, like be like, join me here.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Join me here.

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_02]: She still is like, okay, tell him like, you know, send it, email me what's going on.

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And turns out there's emails now with screenshots proof timeline.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Receipts.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: This is so wild.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I realized that like, I've gone completely slack jawed, which does not translate well to

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_01]: an audio podcast.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So just to describe how my face was to them, just mouth fully agape, like, holy crap.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's giving the address out.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, yes.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Man can't even afford a hotel.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So she says, you know what?

[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_02]: F this because this ain't the first time this has happened.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It happened.

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And she just packed up and left.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_02]: She's packed up and left period.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_02]: She didn't say nothing to him.

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But then here's the thing.

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_02]: This is why I wanted to talk about it.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess it was live.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And he is on Twitch reacting.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm not joking.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_01]: No, like, so he is on Twitch watching and reacting to the video of his ex fiance talking

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: to Alex Earl about how she found out he was cheating on her.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_01]: No, but like, why do men?

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Why men?

[00:13:08] Mm hmm.

[00:13:08] Mm hmm.

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And okay.

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_01]: So what was his reaction?

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I have to assume it's special.

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_02]: This is why I am bringing you this story.

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God.

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Because again, people are like, oh, maybe it's not his Instagram.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Twitch.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Shut up.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: It's him.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_02]: But my final allegedly allegedly.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is what he said.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I did love Tiana.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, we had a lot of fun times.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_02]: There are a lot of times that were good.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of times that were bad.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, him cheating.

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and like she said, we tried to grow through everything and it sucks because I know I fucked

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_02]: up her life or I really fucked up at least what we were going on.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Blah, blah, blah.

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_02]: He's talking.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_02]: He keeps talking.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And then he says.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Most of the conspiracies out there aren't true and none of you know what people have been

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_02]: saying are correct.

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And at least no one got pregnant.

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because cheating on your fiance is totally fine as long as nobody gets pregnant.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the moral of the story.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and this is I wanted to bring it up because the gall, the gumption, the audacity.

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And she, you know, again, on the podcast, she like talks a lot about like how she doesn't

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_02]: have like a roof to, you know, live like she's kind of homeless.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_02]: She's trying to figure out her next steps, blah, blah, blah.

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and she's like, I literally have to start over.

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I have nothing going on.

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And so wait, is this like they were college sweethearts and then he got into the NFL in

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: the same friend group?

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And it sounds like he it was like a slow burn that they just kind of had the same friends

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_02]: when they were in Dallas, which again, I don't know if that's like after the NFL or what's

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_02]: going on.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_02]: But she basically said that two started dating in April of 2022.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and because the friends signed off on him there, she was kind of like cool with

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: it.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And so let me guess he got the friend group in the breakup.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's what she's also shared that like she feels like, you know, she's had to think

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: she's lost a lot in, in addition to friends.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And they, but here's the thing.

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of their content is like, he doesn't even like me.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I annoy him.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And I hate that.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I hate that so much.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: That's like, there are so many different subsects of like couple influencer accounts.

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And that is by far the most like irritating one where it'll be like, get ready with me.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: While I tell you about how my husband ruined my birthday party, like stand up girl.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it's like, oh, don't send him.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, I'm just trying to talk about this.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_01]: No, you got up on Alex Earl's podcast.

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You were hoping that people would hate on him.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I did.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, very clear.

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And no, I just mean in general, when girls post those, you know, videos, but they're like, he's not a bad guy.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Shut up.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but yeah, it's wild because like, and again, Monday morning quarterbacking, right?

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Like where you're like, oh yeah, like he does not look happy.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_02]: He looks very annoyed by her.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But I, I feel like that's a brand.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I've seen a lot of, you know, happy people do that stuff.

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It very much is.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I like, thankfully don't really get that type.

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I get a lot of the ones where they're like, welcome to the side of TikTok for people who actually love their wife.

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we're out here.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And then that's when I'll get so Debo.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like this is me showing my own biases.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not actually like a knock against anyone, but then I'll be like totally in love with this couple and love the videos they make.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And then he like walks in the door and army combats one day.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, oh, and that's just like my thing.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's not anything against people in the military.

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just because I have a lot of experience with that, that I'm triggered by it.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you, it's just very weird.

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's a niche for everything and there's certainly like so much content that gets made and so much media that's about like people who hate their wives.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So I can see how it could totally be their brand that it's like, oh, she's so annoying and he's exasperated with it.

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm glad she's free.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not in it.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate that stuff.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And apparently like I was seeing somewhere that maybe his dad also, you know, had some thoughts, but I can't find it.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't want to.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, we'll do alleged, but might be like to alleged.

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_02]: That like, yeah, it just seems like he also said stuff.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_02]: But like I said, I just, I can't find a whole thing.

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't want to.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that is wild.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine getting a Hey girly message because the moderator on your live stream is like, oh, hey, by the way, check your DMS.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I do really respect that she immediately, you know, believed the evidence and didn't go after the person who provided it to her.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that happens and it's so up.

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_01]: She said she like had a feeling and was almost like waiting for like proof to slap her in the face.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_02]: She like uses face to like get into his phone.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I it's just so alleged that I don't care about it.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and it's messy and it's gross, but this shit is outrageous.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like there's, but this has been like a very big summer for influencer drama that we talked about at all.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, and this I'm going to do.

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And like, since then it's been like all of like the Cody co stuff and like Tana Mongo, like there's so much and we just like haven't touched it.

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I guess like we're not as much into like the influencer gossip as a general rule.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_01]: So I guess that makes sense.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It just wasn't, it wasn't our brand, but it's been such a messy summer.

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And again, this type of mess.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I love it.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's because she came out fine.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, she has 2 million followers.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got 2 million followers.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: She's going to definitely be able to make an income off of that.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_01]: She has like the clout of being like formally associated with an NFL player.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_01]: This will probably ultimately raise both of their profiles.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_01]: They're, they're fine.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_01]: They're, they're going to be just fine.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yup.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That's nuts.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just, it's outrageous.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I said he went live.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just, yeah.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_01]: To react to that is crazy.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I love messy, messy people.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate them.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you to them.

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yup.

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And thank you to them and Josh for sending this over.

[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Can we please talk about the next one?

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I also didn't click that.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And I deeply need you to explain to me.

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about this because I'm, I'm so also lost.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and again, everything we're about to say, this does require, um, a little bit of

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: a trigger warning.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_02]: So like, we're going to be talking about like custody battles, children, maybe assault.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, again, but this is all alleged as well, but we're still going to talk about it.

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I just, I want to make that note before we get into this story.

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, just because.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And we, we have the timestamps in the description of the podcast.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_01]: So please skip ahead to the next story.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: If that's something that is going to be triggering for you.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's talk about Killani.

[00:21:42] Cause what?

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And so yeah, I'm sorry.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been truly, I feel like we haven't heard Chris Brown on his stories.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I would never know about that because I would never see his stories.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what's been showing up for me is like, he posted the, like, Oh, we're, you know,

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_02]: twins or whatever.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to think about it.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's move on.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So, um, uh, Kalani as a child, um, we, and five years kid is five years old, um, with

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_02]: her then partner and, um, guitarist, uh, Juman young white.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, the couple didn't stay together.

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_02]: She's been with like YG since who's a rapper and, um, you know, other folks, but they've

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of been co-parenting through it all.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but now he has filed for full custody of their child, five year old.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and I'm not going to say her name, um, claiming that the child is in a cult, um, with

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_02]: a man accused of sexual assault.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And in the document, um, reviewed, it seems like, uh, and, uh, well, all of a sudden he's

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_02]: a brother of like, uh, I guess a famous comedian either way.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, wait, who's the famous Canadian?

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It comedian.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Not Canadian.

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Nevermind.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, wait, I didn't enunciate.

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I really thought he was like, comedian.

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Comedian.

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So, um, you know, it's like, this is everything that goes on.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they, they've talked about this child, um, how, you know, she had a home birth and

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_02]: basically it's saying that that was kind of also felt like was motivated as the cult.

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_02]: What?

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, he was present for the delivery, but since deleted social media posts, he wrote that she

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_02]: gave birth, you know, at home standing up unmedicated, which again, that's great that you want to do that.

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just weird and braggy.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and call it.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's hardcore.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's so hardcore.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the most beautiful moment of his life, which is amazing.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, and, and how you want your like baby's father and your partner to talk about you.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm hmm.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But then because of that unconventional, um, like arrival or birth, he claims that his name

[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_02]: does not appear on the birth certificate.

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And it seems yes.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And he believes, uh, sorry, wait, wait, wait, I'm sorry.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_01]: How is this baby five years old?

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And you're just now talking about how you're not on the birth.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Like this is not adding up.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_01]: This is weird.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And then he was in something articles.

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I read that like, he's also like, Oh, where is the, um, what's our social security number?

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_02]: But again, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly has she even, you know, registered like all

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_02]: of that kind of stuff.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so that's where I think where this is like coming from.

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So in his petition, he says he believes that Kalani has been involved in a cult for the

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_02]: past few years, and the group controls her behavior, including when it comes to the upbringing of their

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_02]: child.

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And he didn't identify his this group.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and, and though papers were filed in Los Angeles, he described a cult leader who goes by the name

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_02]: NETO, which is netto NATO.

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't need to.

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, NETO.

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and has numerous accusations of committing sexual assault against women and girls.

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Ew.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And wait, so are we to believe that the dad just found out about this?

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Or like, has he known and he just didn't do anything about it for five years?

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I am not sure about.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause like, if you're telling me that the home birth happened because of this group, then

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_01]: how are you also telling me that now is the time to, to talk about it?

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'm being too harsh.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it seems very confusing, but you know what happens sometimes like when you're

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_02]: so in it, you don't think about it until.

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Very true.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Very true.

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Something could have happened that like, yeah.

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then it seems like this, again, this person, NETO, um, has banned him from seeing

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_02]: his child after receiving a vision that I was a danger and could kill.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, vision.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So this is why maybe, you know, it could be that it's finally brought to light that now

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_02]: he finally can't see her.

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and that maybe was like the straw that brought the camel's back.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: What?

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Super fair.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it seems like in 2023, um, you know, he, uh, Javon found out, found out again,

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_02]: found out that allegedly, uh, NETO was performing religious ceremonies, quote unquote, um, on their

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_02]: child that involves, you know, him being in a room alone with her.

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, again, trigger warning, please move on if you want.

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, where he physically like, you know, maybe restrained her, maybe he was threatened

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_02]: by, uh, and then.

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_02]: He himself, sorry, was physically restrained and threatened by members of the cult when the,

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: when he tried to get the baby out of here.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh no.

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and it seems like, you know, and then in 2022, Kalani also has spoken, um, you know,

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: about exploring new religious, uh, new religions and discovering Santeria, which again, is not

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_02]: the same as this.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to make that very clear.

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, this is just something she'd brought, like brought up.

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and, uh, you know, has like put out, you know, studio albums has been doing a lot

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_02]: of work.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and, you know, and spoke about like Palestinian rights and being an advocate online in general,

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and even on Chris Brown's story.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and it's just weird because it feels like it's very, like, um, it's very pointed.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's at, at any point when an organization is telling you who you can and cannot associate

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_01]: with, that crosses the line from religion into a high control group.

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and it's just not okay.

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Like just again, to be very clear that we're not like, Oh, it's because it's organized.

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's not organized religion.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_01]: That's control.

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is a cult.

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, if, if true.

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That's why it's just like, this is very alleged.

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's also like with Kalani posting about, you know, all the, like she's been exploring

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_01]: different spirituality and all that.

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's beautiful.

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_01]: People should explore spirituality in whatever way resonates with them.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, comma, but sometimes people who are so lost and like seeking out something

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_01]: new spiritually to provide meaning in their life can become a target for like a high control

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_01]: group because they're so ready to have something that provides meaning.

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's not like their fault, but it's just something to like be cognizant of when

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: you are looking to do, you know, spiritual development.

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully that came out right.

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I think I, yeah, I think so.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I hope so.

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_02]: At least because I see what you're saying.

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, so anyway, so it just, it feels really wild.

[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, what's going on.

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And then, um, of course, uh, Kalani posted a statement where they said, you know, what has

[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_02]: been published in the media is incredibly hurtful, inaccurate, inappropriate and untrue.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and I strongly deny any claims that I've put my child in harm's way or left my child

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_02]: alone when anyone seems unsafe or dangerous.

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, they do.

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's if you're in a group, you wouldn't believe that group is dangerous.

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Like she's not saying she didn't leave her kid alone with someone.

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_01]: She's saying she trusts the people she's leaving her kid alone with.

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a very clear.

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Finction.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they said like their, uh, Kalani's former partner, um, you know, is like.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_02]: The dispute is a legal private familial matter and will be handled accordingly.

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, let like due process happen.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, this could be a media circus.

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_01]: This could absolutely be.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, and then, uh, Juan, of course, um, post a really long statement, basically saying

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_02]: like, I not talking about Santeria.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, I never said, I think that's a sex cult, nor did I say my daughter is in

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_02]: one.

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That's actually incorrect.

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's disgusting that TMZ would exploit a child image.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Of course.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Are we surprised?

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, because basically saying like the filing, um, yeah.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And I would, you know, love to TMZ to justify to me, the father, how they came up with this.

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, basically it's saying that TMZ article sensationalized aspects of what was said.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll simultaneously breaching my confidentiality.

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Further, the filing was incomplete and did not have my authorization.

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And apparently it's not going to be represented by them anymore.

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So the council that was going to represent maybe provided incomplete filings to TMZ.

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that what's being alleged here?

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Or it just, I think, cause most of this stuff is public record.

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_02]: So maybe they filed it, but it was incomplete.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah.

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Ooh.

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that could ultimately also end up in some sticky stuff for the attorney as well.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Egg.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I think this is definitely a story to watch.

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm hmm.

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's what I'm saying.

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_02]: So this is very early.

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_02]: That's why I want to say everything's alleged because he himself is even like, I'm not trying

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_02]: to paint, you know, her like Kalani in a negative image and want to be respectful.

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_02]: This unfortunate trauma, you know, increases obstacles to ensure my child's wellbeing.

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So just want to make that part clear as well, because it's just, this is so alleged, so new, but I feel like it could get bigger.

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree.

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that this is definitely going to be a story to watch and I think it could end up being really big.

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And if that's the case, then you heard it here first.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Magnets breaking news.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Does if we just like, I know this one doesn't even seem like a fun one, but my God.

[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, it's not fun, but at least we're on the ground floor, I guess.

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know.

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just trying to find a.

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Freaking silver lining because this is horrible.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_01]: This is truly so horrible.

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you.

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Well.

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I really wanted to talk about it.

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm bummed.

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that's okay because now we can go back to something that does not bum me out because we've got some updates on the story that we talked about.

[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Last week with Michaela Skinner, the former US Olympics gymnastics team person who made that post and that video about Simone Biles being the only like hard worker on the team.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And Simone's clap back on Instagram and her like apology and all that.

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So in the last week.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Michaela is continuing to get absolutely dragged to hell and back again on the Internet.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_01]: She is.

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I would not say that she is getting bullied because I see if anyone displayed bullying behavior, it was her.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But she describes it as bullying and she has posted online appealing to Simone Biles to please put a stop to all of this behavior and like say something to get people to leave her alone.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, which to me, I'm like, well, you fucked around.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Now it is time to find out because that's how it works.

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: You first come around and then you find out.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And so she's not enjoying the find out part of this as most people do not.

[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and so, yeah, she's like, please, Simone.

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I beg.

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_02]: But why do you love Simone then, Chaney?

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm, exactly right.

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like her and like, even then she like made her a poll.

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Is saying, oh, I didn't say those things.

[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which is untrue.

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Giving dishonesty.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Correct.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It's giving, trying to protect herself, but not actually caring about any, anything else or like the truth of the matter or like a genuine apology to her former teammates that she talked so much shit about.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I, I can't really find it in my heart to feel sorry for the girl.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm being completely honest.

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and Simone has also said basically like, no, making that post is like what felt right at the time.

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't regret making that.

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just so funny.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's so much.

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_01]: There's also been like some drama with Simone Biles because she got silver.

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: In the overall event after like some, like the vibe was like super off in the room.

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I guess they wouldn't let anyone play music for the finals.

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Weird.

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And they also like, if anyone was cheering, they were getting shushed is like allegedly what was going on in there.

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: So like the vibe was super off in the room and like five out of eight contestants fell on the vault.

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Simone Biles fell.

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't happen.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's just not something that typically happens.

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_01]: The vibe was super off.

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, she won silver instead of gold.

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And she and her fellow teammate were like bowing down to the gold medalist on the podium.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And that has caused like some controversy as well, where I just saw like a TMZ article where like, I don't know, some NFL guy was like judging Simone for bowing down to the person that beat her.

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And then like Michelle Obama has jumped in to defend her.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I just saw that before we went live.

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So I haven't even had a chance to read it.

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But Jason Reed posted it like this feels like a Mad Lib.

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I saw too.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And it truly does feel like a Mad Lib.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Lots of there's been lots more Olympic mess, like in including the fact that like several athletes have tested positive for E. coli after swimming in the sand, which like, I mean, yeah, everyone shit in the river.

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Not that long ago.

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, not only that, it was already dirty to begin with.

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_01]: No, and it was tested for E. coli already.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I know it's like, it was okay.

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I just I if you tell me on Tuesday that there's E. coli in the water and I can't go in it.

[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_01]: If you tell me it's safe on Wednesday, I'm sorry, I'm not going to believe you.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That but that's just my paranoid ass.

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Same.

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: But the thing is, if you're an Olympian, and maybe you have to you have to do your event.

[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Like what are you supposed to do?

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_01]: You have to go like disgusting.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_01]: There should have never been any swimming in that body of water.

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_01]: God.

[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, that's really the update on that story.

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And then this last one was a request.

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So I tweeted on the Magnets account yesterday.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I said, what's on your mind?

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you want to hear about?

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And Sarah replied and said, but not to get political.

[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, can we do politics because I am out of the loop on the J.D. Vance couch thing.

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And I realized that there's probably a lot of listeners who maybe don't know what's going on with this.

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And I thought that it would be good to give a little bit of a description.

[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Sasha, how much do you know about this?

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I do know.

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_01]: You've got it.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So basically, for the people who don't know and people who aren't in the States or who maybe don't pay attention to American politics.

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So J.D. Vance is Donald Trump's running mate for vice president in the U.S. presidential election, which is happening this November.

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And he is probably most well known for, well, a saying that Trump was the next Hitler in 2016.

[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And now look, he's running mate.

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Interesting.

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So I guess he's well known for having no principles and only ambition would be what I would say.

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But also, he's very well known for writing his memoir, which is called Hillbilly Elegy, which came out in 2016 and was really grasped onto by a lot of people as like.

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like people who were very blindsided by Trump winning the election in 2016.

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, the explanation that was given for a lot of people was like, oh, it's the poor whites.

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like the working class whites.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the people in like Appalachia.

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why this happened.

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And like, oh, J.D. Vance's book really explains why it happened, which, first of all, it doesn't.

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_01]: If I'm not going to go into the full details, but if anyone wants like a rundown of what's wrong with the book, go to the podcast.

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_01]: If books could kill, they did a full breakdown on the book Hillbilly Elegy.

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you can find it there.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, it's that's mostly besides the point.

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_01]: A Twitter user who was literally shit posting posted a tweet the day after like two days after J.D. Vance was selected as Trump's running mate.

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That was basically like saying that J.D. Vance admitted to having sex with a latex glove that was tucked between the couch cushions on a couch.

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Basically, the J.D. Vance fucked his couch and he like gives a citation for Hillbilly Elegy with like page numbers and stuff.

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because like a lot of people haven't read that book.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It just like really took on a life of its own.

[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it was real or if they just thought it was funny or a combination of the two, but it took off.

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_01]: It was literally just someone shit posting on Twitter.

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It was not anything serious.

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And he did it right.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was thinking.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't.

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't think there's any evidence that he's done it and it's not in the book.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry that he oh, it's not in the book.

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a fake citation.

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, that's hilarious.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_01]: There's the only like story.

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, not me falling for fake.

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_01]: No, like if that was actually in the book, it definitely would have been mentioned on that books could kill episode that I listened to.

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_01]: The only story like there's a story in the book and I'm just going to say it because it's messy because it's funny is basically like when he was like seven or eight.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But J.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: J.D. Vance realized that like he wasn't romantically.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he wasn't romantically interested in anyone, but he wasn't romantically interested in girls.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So he goes to his grandma and goes like grandma.

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I think I'm gay because I'm not interested in girls.

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And his grandma says to like eight, seven or eight year old J.D. Vance, like, well, do you want to suck dick?

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's like, no.

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, well, then you're not gay, which, of course, implies that at like seven or eight years old, he would want to eat pussy, which is very strange.

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's I think like the only sexual thing in the whole book, like he did.

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe I did.

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_01]: OK, because I knew all of it up until I it was not.

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I love. OK, well, I love that we can.

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_01]: We're spreading true information.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's totally I thought it was real.

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm I'll admit I thought it was real for like a minute.

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I was like, wait, I listened to a whole podcast about this book like months ago and they definitely would have mentioned it if he fucked a couch cushion.

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And so that's where it comes from.

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And so then the weekend that Kamala became the Democratic nominee,

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Tick Tock was basically like all brat edits for Kamala, which we like we we went through like the brass last week.

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like all that.

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_01]: But Twitter was basically like all brat stuff for Kamala.

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And then videos of like couches with really romantic music over it to make fun of James is where the meme starts there.

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's very funny.

[00:42:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And then now it's become a thing where like.

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, what's his name?

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Josh Walls.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the Kamala's running?

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Tim Walls.

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Tim Walls.

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I Josh in my head because he's my boyfriend, I guess.

[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_01]: My man.

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That's my man.

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so he made a speech, I believe yesterday, August 6th, where he said he would love to debate J.D. Vance if J.D. Vance is willing to get off the couch and debate him.

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And then you see Kamala like to really trying to keep a straight face in the background because it's just totally become a joke.

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God.

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just I'm literally in shock.

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not.

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe you thought it was.

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like what did you say not to get into the logistics of how you would have sex with a couch?

[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But like, wouldn't you just put on a condom and then like, fuck the guy?

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, why?

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_01]: How does a glove factor into it?

[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't ask me.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I did not like read it with a fine tooth.

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, no, obviously you saw a thing that was like, wow, this guy admitted to having sex with his couch.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And then you're like, I don't want to think about this anymore.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So you just move on with your life.

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a very logical thing to do.

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, I am sick in the head.

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I've really put a lot of thought.

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: No, you're smart.

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just the thing is that I knew a lot of frat boys at Oklahoma, which is again, the video you posted about the the video that's going viral about those girls dancing.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it Chapel Rhone?

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Dancing to Chapel Rhone.

[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Another Oklahoma sorority.

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, the point is like, I just know those like particular frat boys in those big white.

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Janey Vance is not a frat boy.

[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_01]: He's not in my mind.

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That's no trust me.

[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Trust and believe.

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that's who I think of.

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's so funny.

[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And also speaking of those sorority girls dancing to Chapel Rhone, like leave those girls alone.

[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I apparently people were saying like sorority girls shouldn't be allowed to like sing to like a queer artist.

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, there's queer girls in that picture.

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you stupid or are you dumb?

[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And also like when queer artists become so mainstream, that's good for everybody.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But also the chapter president replied to one of the videos being like, hi, like I'm a chapter president and I'm gay.

[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So can you please stop?

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Shut up.

[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, it just makes me so angry.

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Because y'all are so dumb and there's so much to worry about.

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: But the problem is that because of Bama Rush, particularly folks are now realizing that sororities exist and that they do like weird.

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And I say this as a sorority girl, hell, as a sorority girl at Oklahoma, to be particular.

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Like sorority girls do weird culty, whatever you want to call it stuff for recruitment.

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_02]: It's silly.

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fun and silly.

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Like half of the fun is like planning the dances.

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And my sorority did not do like dances or recruitment because we're not in the Panhellenic Council, which is like stereotypical sororities you think of.

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: We didn't have a house and we're like 20, 30 people in our org.

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_02]: But that's not the point.

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_02]: The point is like when you like have to, you know, perform and do a little dance and do whatever.

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like the most fun times with your sisters because you're just sitting there like, you know, late at night trying to figure this shit out.

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like fun.

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You get into little fights.

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_02]: You're just like whatever.

[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so silly and such a fun bonding ritual.

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate people hate when when young people and especially women have fun.

[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is why rom-coms died and Chick Flick died in the first place.

[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and that's like not to get not to get dark.

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's why like a man goes into the Taylor Swift dance class with a knife and that's why there's like, you know, issues with her concerts this weekend.

[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, it's just outrageous like how folks can get like, I don't know.

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_02]: It just folks get so weird when young girls enjoy stuff like shut up.

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not for you.

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Guess what?

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_02]: None of them.

[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_02]: None of you are being recruited by them.

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't do you go to you.

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you in Atlantic college eligible?

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Hell, I know I can afford them damn fees that they they charge.

[00:47:48] [SPEAKER_02]: God, I just I it's really frustrates me how people talk about sorority and no one saying like sororities are perfect and amazing.

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_02]: No, we I'm not saying that.

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But this is not why we're gonna drag sororities and especially not in my school.

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you that.

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Perfect.

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally perfect.

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I think that's enough of our couch just explanation and also general rant about people hating women.

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.

[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Shall we do an anonymous?

[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, please.

[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is a pretty quick one.

[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not that big, but it made me laugh out loud.

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's what we're doing today.

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So deal with it.

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So our messenger says this isn't a long mess, but I still think you'll find it hilarious.

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Spoiler alert.

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I did.

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_01]: They say it's quick bites meets anonymous.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally branding is so on.

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So and they also say they're trying to be vague because they don't know if any of these girlies listen to the podcast, which would be so iconic.

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_01]: If they did.

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So our messenger was in a wedding a few weeks ago.

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the bride picked a very distinct but popular color for the bridesmaids dresses.

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, should we guess what color it is?

[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm guessing sage green.

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, wait popular color.

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_02]: The wedding just happened.

[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it like that like dusty blue?

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, green.

[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get I wanted for my green.

[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I get dusty blue and I could see like I feel like it's super super baby pink is always.

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, that is what I went with.

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_02]: No, mine wasn't.

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Mine was a dusty pink.

[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.

[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Beautiful.

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not something I would want to pick.

[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I just ended up having to pick it out to say that your choice.

[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I just like that I wanted the dusty blue, but it was just giving to gender reveal with my with unfortunately what my like what's the word?

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Decor and everything because it was like the decor was like those light white and you know.

[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's that's super fair to make it all flow together.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So our messenger says that the bridal party 100% stood out as bridesmaids like it was clear that they were bridesmaids.

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't a color that you would normally see guests wear.

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So she's saying like think like neon orange, but like it's not neon.

[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like something very.

[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it has to be one of them.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that makes sense.

[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So one of the groom's female cousins showed up wearing the same very distinct color to the wedding, even though she was not a bridesmaid.

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and she said to the matron of honor.

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, if I wasn't going to be asked to be a bridesmaid I at least could dress like one to look like it in the picture.

[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I did it on purpose.

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God.

[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Wedding drama is so ridiculous.

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it. I love it so much.

[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_02]: People are unserious.

[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_02]: This is when you have to wear your friends because you got to drop something onto her, you know, outfit.

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_02]: The thing is, put me in because I will dance so close to her that my drink is on.

[00:51:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's on the dress.

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I literally I was talking to a friend that is getting married next summer and I we were talking about like dress code and how some people get really strict with it.

[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, I mean, she's like, I'm even fine with like florals on a white background as long as it's like a very bold like floral pattern, blah, blah, blah.

[00:51:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, yeah, if anyone comes in and it's not like I'm there, I'm splashing a drink on them.

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sending them home.

[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll get giant t-shirts like it's like it's high school and you got caught in spaghetti straps like I'm I'm on it.

[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Period.

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God.

[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:51:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just it's outrageous.

[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And you got to fight back bridesmaids.

[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_01]: But I find this very funny.

[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And so but I guess no one fought back and like there was just no arguments and it was fine.

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like all the people that would have seen her just like sitting in the seats for the ceremony and then in the same dress as everyone.

[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I feel like that's embarrassing for the cousin.

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I I just think that weddings really bring out the weirdest people, the weirdest parts of they do.

[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that's what that is.

[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_02]: What happened here?

[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_02]: 100 percent is like folks just get weird with people.

[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_01]: People I've said it so many times and it's been a minute since I've reaffirmed it.

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_01]: People have lost the ability to be normal.

[00:52:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's actually so weird.

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly it.

[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just it's so bizarre.

[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just feel sad.

[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_02]: But weddings bring out the quick kooky.

[00:52:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And here we are.

[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Kooky.

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Number one, like stand up, girl.

[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_02]: At least we're white.

[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Damn.

[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Just weird.

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.

[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.

[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_01]: That is it.

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I think.

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, Kirsten?

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's it.

[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That is our episode.

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Great job always to both of us.

[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Period.

[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm going to miss the messengers.

[00:53:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So please send me all the tea.

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And I can't wait to come back.

[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_01]: You can listen to the pod while you're away.

[00:53:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And breaking news.

[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, next week, Chappelle is going to join me on the podcast.

[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_02]: So we text you and not me jerk.

[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I texted him and said, do you want to come on Mess Mangets with Sasha's way?

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Grand.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:53:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Rude.

[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_02]: See?

[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-mm.

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I, I, I rescind the invitation because you did not respond to me.

[00:53:30] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm just kidding.

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm joking.

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, too bad.

[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm in charge while you're away.

[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm shutting this down right now.

[00:53:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Too bad.

[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll be listening.

[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It'll be like every other time Chappelle's been on when I have to just listen and be sad.

[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'll be there this time.

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Ha ha.

[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:53:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:53:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait to listen to y'all when I will be gone, but either way, get excited everyone

[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_02]: and listen, leave us a five star.

[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I should only review.

[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_02]: We need it.

[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_02]: We miss it.

[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And we will go live.

[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just nothing has happened that requires or that would be fun.

[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And like the RJP podcast has been live on YouTube every day because of Big Brother.

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's also tough to get the time in, but we will.

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do it.

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_01]: We haven't forgotten it.

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_01]: We haven't forgotten about it.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_02]: So that is it.

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But listen, leave us a five star review.

[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Help us out.

[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Subscribe.

[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Share with your people.

[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And with that, Kirsten, where can the people find you?

[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So I just wrapped up talking about too hot to handle on the hot dummies on islands podcast,

[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_01]: which was super fun.

[00:54:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Tori from ready to be petty joined me and we had a blast.

[00:54:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm also popping up on some of the Big Brother coverage over on Rob has a podcast.

[00:54:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So you can check that out as well.

[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And follow me everywhere on Instagram, on Twitter, on TikTok, on Twitch.

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I Kirsten said what everywhere.

[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Please follow me.

[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And Sasha, where can the people find you if they're going to miss you while you're away

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_01]: from us?

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll be I'll be around.

[00:55:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So, of course, in addition to mess magnets, I am talking below deck bed with Chappelle over

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_02]: on the Rob has podcast YouTube channel or on the below deck or hop up speed.

[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_02]: So check that out.

[00:55:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So and Taryn Armstrong and I have just wrapped up our coverage of the getaway.

[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So really fun.

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_02]: We did a bunch of exit interviews with all the cast members.

[00:55:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So check out our coverage.

[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Plus the exit interviews.

[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Just another social strategy game to dive into.

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And Mike Bloom and I chat with your favorite reality TV star to talk about their favorite scripted

[00:55:53] [SPEAKER_02]: TV.

[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So this week we had Karishma to talk the House of the Dragon finale.

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, she's so smart.

[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And all her takes were so good and so different.

[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So everyone, please check that out.

[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Because that's my queen.

[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I love Karishma.

[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So check that out.

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And we've had Demi from the Bachelor universe on last week to talk Shogun.

[00:56:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, all things sci-fi and fantasy and silly.

[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_02]: That's so cool.

[00:56:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.

[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It was so much fun.

[00:56:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, we've had Davey on to talk the boys.

[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_02]: So we've just, it's been really fun.

[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to have a really fun big brother person coming on soon.

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I mean, we're going to be recording it in two days.
